Wacom Intuos4 Tablet

I've recently updated the driver for my Wacom Intuos4 tablet. But since I installed the version of the driver 6.1.2-5, all my shortcuts Windows pen and handwriting input features have been disabled! Is there an explanation / solution for this?

Hi Hoi Yat Tsoi,

You can uninstall the drivers and reinstall and check if it works very well, otherwise you may have to contact the manufacturer of your computer to this topic.

  • No sensitivity to pressure with CC 2015 Photoshop and Wacom Intuos4

    Hi all

So, I noticed something that had not occurred to me until I needed to use this feature. I've been using InDesign and Illustrator to my most recent work, so I didn't use a whole bunch of Photoshop since upgrading to 2015 CC. When you try to use the Brush tool, Photoshop does not meet with my Wacom Intuos4 Tablet pressure sensitivity. At the same time, my pen does not feather on gum time reverse commute around either. I don't have this problem when using my tablet in Illustrator, so I don't think anything about her trying to use Photoshop.

I studied the issue and found that many others have had the same problem. But when you try to use the same solution (Windows of ink), I do not know if there is a "most recent" solution

    My specs:

    OPERATING SYSTEM:

    System Info.jpg

    Photoshop:

    Adobe Photoshop Version: 2015.0.1 20150722.r.168 2015/07 / 22:23:59:59 CL 1032107 x 64

    Operating system: Windows 64-bit 8.1

    Wacom driver:

    Wacom Info.jpg

    Model: Intuos4 M

    Version: 1.04

As I said, I guess that all the other solutions I found were made for previous versions of Windows and Photoshop, so I can't follow step by step with troubleshooting because I do not have the same "destination path", as when I try to save the PSUserConfig.txt file. So I hope that someone has found an update process.

    Thank you!

    Hi rexh7688,

    1. create a Notepad and type:

    # Use WinTab

    UseSystemStylus 0

Save it as a text file named PSUserConfig.txt

    2. Open Run command and type appdata, and press ENTER key

    3. go to the location:

    Roaming - Adobe - Adobe Photoshop CC2015 - Adobe Photoshop CC2015 settings

    4. move the file PSUserConfig.txt to the folder settings Adobe Photoshop CC 2015

    Kind regards

  • Wacom Intuos4 + PS CS4 pressure problem

    Hey.

So, I recently bought a large wacom intuos4 tablet. When I use the pressure sensitivity in photoshop cs4 will not trigger when I draw. However, it triggers when I double click and then shooting. It seems odd. How it works, but you can imagine that it is impossible to make the lines of continuous light and should double click before each time I do it. This is just photoshop, other programs like corel painter and twisted brush work very well.

I have all the drivers updated, I should probably start with the standard problems * pressure works does not in general *. However, I thought that I should post my problem * individual as is * someone with the same issue could share an idea, if it isn't my own personal problem.

    I run windows 7 32 bit 3.4 ghz P4, 2 GB ram, ATi x 1950 PRO.

    Thank you.

    Mate,

    I have your answer!

Search for 'Feather' in your little Gizmo on the windows task bar. This will take you to the pen & press options.

Go to the shortcut tab and uncheck the "use shortcuts to perform common actions quickly and easily.

That will fix it! Worked for me. Running Windows 7 64 bit and an Intuos 3.

As mentioned earlier, it's a good idea to turn off the press and in the right-click as bothers you in Photoshop.

I hope it works for you mate.

    Josh.

  • Wacom Intuos4 and pressure sensitive brushes in CS3

I just bought a Wacom Intuos4 Tablet and I can't get the Illustrator CS3 brushes to work with sensitivity to pressure. I double clicked on the brushes and change the preferences to the 'pressure', but it does not work. It works in Photoshop. I tried to restart, and also I tried many brushes.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Hi Nancy,.

You set change setting for brush so preference?

A brush set to use pressure, but a variation of 0 will have apparently not any appearance of pressure. You need increase the value of Variation to tell Illustrator range which will be applied after pressure.

  • Wacom Intuos4 6 x 8 - questions?

I read on many of the people having problems with LR and Wacom tablets.  I was interested in the new Wacom Intuos4, but given the problems posted now have concerns.  Someone at - it no success with the help of the Tablet and Lightroom.  I'm on a Mac Book Pro with Leopard if there is no difference based on OS.

    Thanks in advance.

    Jay S.

    Jay S,.

Many of the problems I see are associated with Windows. I use Os x... no problem. Zoom in Lightroom is different compared to Photoshop. Lightroom has only a few not, but Photoshop has endless markets. In Lightroom I does not use the touchscreen for zoom ring since I only use 100% and 'fit to screen '. The touch ring is convenient but to quickly scroll through your photos.

I've never used a Cintiq, but the accuracy of the new Intuos 4 is still higher than models Intuos 3. It works fine with Dynamics in Photoshop for brushes.

    Stew,

I use a Wacom for 15 years now. The Intuos 4 is my third tablet. I ' t absolutely faster and easier than a mouse, but more importantly, it is much more accurate. At first, it feels a little strange. Simply use it for a few hours or days and you never else want more. Without a doubt!

  • The Wacom Intuos4 pen pressure not working?

Just installed Photoshop on Windows 8.1, Intel i7, graphic IrisPro CC.

And then installed the Wacom Intuos4 driver from here: http://us.Wacom.com/en/support/legacy-drivers/

Reset my computer, open Photoshop and my pressure of the stylus does not work!

So I opened the menu "window-> brush" go to the tab "dynamically" and where it says "Control = pen pressure"to the left, he has an alert symbol.

Looked on the forums, found no solutions.

I also installed MyPaint and my pen pressure works on this Open Source application... so I don't understand why his would not work with Photoshop...

It is more of a bug report, if anything, unless there is a known solution?

    Awesome! Found a solution: http://gunnergurl.deviantart.com/art/Under-Pressure-258720857

Basically, add Photoshop as an application to the feather and the button available in the Wacom Control Panel.

  • Wacom Bamboo Tablet with Adobe Photoshop Elements 8.0 on newly purchased Windows installation 8.1 portable

So I bought a Wacom bamboo tablet earlier when I got windows 7, which it came with Adobe Photoshop 8 on a CD with the product code. I've upgraded and purchased a new laptop with windows 8 and no CD drive. While I managed to re download the necessary things to make my Tablet works from their site, I realized that I can't download Adobe elements 8 for my laptop because of two things:
    (1) I don't have a CD player
    (2) adobe Photoshop Elements 8.0 seems to be only for windows 7 and under.
My question is is it possible for me to get this back on my laptop or I'm out of luck in this Department? I'm not sure I can handle the money to buy the latest items for windows 8. It's hopeless for me to work again with this program?

You can try this version of EP 8 from the adobe site:

    Download Photoshop Elements products | 9, 8, 7

Like many I know know, pse 8 should work on windows 8.1

  • How can I get my support for Wacom Bamboo tablet to work in Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 and PS CS6?

I bought a Wacom Bamboo tablet medium yesterday and I downlaoded as Photoshop since the supplied Setup CD.
I'm having some trouble with the Bamboo pen not working in some applications and working with others - but the main problem is that
It's as if the Tablet is not connected at any time I open Photoshop

I try and move the slider of the computer with the bamboo on the tablet pen does not work.

I don't know what to do! Help, please?

    Hello

  • Windows 8 wacom Intuos tablet problems

So I found wonderful Windows 8 but then I plugged my Wacom Intuos 4 after installing the drivers 'new' for Win8 and what happened? My tablet is useless and cannot work with it, it has a long delay in response, as it begins just randomly click and hold, lose clicks, these boring "feedback" as the feedback of pressure, the key based on your comments and all these 'useless' feedbacks that I can't just turn off I have I used to do with Windows 7.

Up to Microsoft, any solution? I know, blame Wacom but also Wacom does not give an answer...
Please I need a solution because I need to work and I paid for that I ask for a solution!

I just wanted to add that 6.1.3 - 5 driver works perfectly with Windows 8.  Is a former Windows 7 driver, but all performance issues appear to be fixed, and all the stupid Windows waving animations disappear.  In addition, the Wacom properties panel opens and works correctly.

  • Tool brush has a smudge through pressure on the wacom bamboo tablet sensor

    Hello

I have problems with my Tablet bamboo wacom or Photoshop (I wouldn't have the first clue on which one of them are the culprits of my problem...).

While I use the Brush tool in Photoshop, that I let go, it seems that I spend my pen, brush also follows. Mind you, at this point, my pen is not touching the tablet.

Its very frustrating as its creation little tails on the end of all my brush strokes.

I'm not sure exactly WHEN this started to happen, but it never happened in the past (before using PS CC 2015 I guess).

    Help, please!

This will be governed by your Wacom tablet properties.  It is mainly a function of the parameter Tip feel.  By moving the slider to the company will make the tip must be closer to the surface of the tablet to assign the cursor.  Be sure to test with the widget of the current pressure , because he's going to be horrible to use if you set it too close.

I can't answer a question about Wacom Tablets without suggesting you try lazy Nezumi Pro.  It will improve your pleasure using the Tablet exponentially and allow you to produce smooth, beautifully tapered, flowing lines.  No user of the tablet should be with it IMHO

  • Can't drag sliders in photoshop using a big pro of wacom intuos Tablet

Hello! I'm having a problem that's already happened where I can't drag the sliders in photoshop as for opacity, hue, etc. I can on my house build, but this is a new configuration of working with photoshop CC and an intuos large pro on a thinkpad running windows 8.1. Is there any sort of "use the graphics tablet" option in photoshop that will arrange? (you must enable such a thing for cinema 4 d) I disabled windows ink already and my drivers are up to date. Thanks in advance for any help!

But the latest version is the 6.3.10w2 Multilingual Version. And if you run the center of office of Wacom, it could offer a later version.

  • Fusion 4.0.1 and Wacom Intuos3 Tablet

Am I the only person having problems with the merger of 4 and a Wacom Tablet?

I have installed Windows 7 and Ubuntu (among others) of the virtual machines.

If I use the Tablet as a common input (shared between Mac and VM) device, it behaves strangely on the virtual machine: it's like having a double-glitching mouse pointer. It is unusable.

If I connect the Tablet directly on the virtual machine (via 'USB & Bluetooth' preferences), the Tablet works fine, but of course it is off on the side of Mac OS X.

    Lion 10.7.1 and Wacom 6.1.7 - 4 pilots.

We study the problem of cursor with Wacom tablets.   This is an article on our matrix test and our basic tests, so maybe it's to specific models of Wacom, drivers or some other configuration that differs from our tests.  We have a solution possible workaround, so for users facing this problem, please add the following line to the vmx file and report here if that solves the problem:

    mks.allowCursorConstraining = FALSE

See this article for information about how to edit the vmx file:

  • Wacom bamboo tablet does not not with pressure sensitivity settting

I'm on a XP I used to be able to use the pressure sensitivity pen on my tablet of bamboo with photoshop, using the pressure setting in the shape dynamics during the dialog tab brush, minimum diameter set to zero.

I turned on or off "tablet pressure controls size, substitutions brush sensitivity parameters button on the toolbar,

    no results.

Wacom settings are identical to the previous, if the sensitivity of pressure setting on hard or soft, same result, that is the new model of HTC 460 that he used to work with photoshop on the design of pressure sensitivity.

    anyone experienced this?

Search for driver updates and if this does not fix it, contact Wacom.

  • Wacom Intuos4 and Photoshop CS4

I just can't get its slope working in Photoshop CS4. If I choose the option tilt pen brush shape Dynamics it works as if the command would be set to pen pressure sensitivity. Diagnostics in the driver options show tilt is detected. Tilt only works for the angle control in CS4. And I use the last update for CS4. Despite this, I tried my intuos4 in corel sketchpad and it works very well, exactly as planned. It detects the pressure, angle of inclination and direction of tilt. I don't know what could be the problem. Can anyone confirm have tilting working in CS4?

I would use tilt for control of roundness.

Robert - this isn't how all the pressure on the parameters work in Photoshop.

So how do they work in interest. Please, please explain what I need to do to lift the show as an effect in PS. You did not once again here is a selection of brush and parameters. Make a few strokes on a canvas with these settings to several angles of tilt and you will see a difference.

Tilt is just another pressure as mapping - difference just the same pressure of assault, or angle, speed, direction or or any other tablet of entry.

What you're talking about is not a bug, but a feature request to change completely the way brushes work in Photoshop.

A feature request? Who ask an airbrush setting behave as a real airbrush?

You said that it works just like it does in painter. To do this, or it does not. And the airbrush setting is certainly not in my tests.

You may feel frustrated, but he the rest of us who can't seem to make it work. And you're not the least bit useful by saying "this is not the way it works." Give us a clear example where you see a difference (with the settings to reproduce)

    We continue to ask.
