Wag160N remote administration

I managed to put all this and I know I'm getting a connection to the router, but it does not appear the admin page.

I put in https://xyz.gotdns.com:8080 he asks me o authenticate the certificate and then enter my username and password but then it shows:

Y at - it an ip block pass with the router? that is, should I tell him to accept my work i.p. address remote management?

OK turns the back of the linksys search page is a bug.

I was chatting with linksys Webcam live chat and they sent v1.00.10 and I use dynamic dns to login the router correctly. If I use v1.00.15 it produces this search page.

They assured me that they will send it to their laboratory technicians, somehow, I won't hold my breath.

  • Can I disable the remote administration for the WRT1900ac?

The Linksys administration console used a simple checkbox to enable or disable remote administration.

Maybe I'm missing it, but I've looked everywhere in the console of the WRT1900ac and I see nothing on remote administration. Can I disable it?

And if not, why not? Disabling remote access (assuming that it is not necessary) is always one of the best suggestions to secure a router.

    Thank you

Authentication of a component or a field with a JMX Agents, press Enter to collapse

PeopleSoft Health Center invites you to add components or domains registered with PPM agent for the purposes of surveillance. The monitoring application authenticates these components or areas by asking a Panel on each component or member field. This is a single authentication that is implemented through the JMX agents. You can choose the components or areas to analyze by answering Yes for the option turn on tracing.

Consider the following when you want to enter username and password for a domain or a component participants:

    • For the web server component (domain PIA), the JMX agent uses the same user name and the password that you enter in the web server administration console.
    • For Tuxedo components (application server and the areas of the process scheduler), the JMX agent uses the user name and password is entered in the field Tuxedo configuration file.

After you have registered a component or a domain, if you disable JMX agents, registered components will display an error message on the dashboard application. The error message indicates that the component is inaccessible for monitoring.

To enable or disable JMX agents for the application server and the areas of the process scheduler, you change the value of the parameter enable the Administration to distance in the PSTOOLS of PSADMIN section. Set the value to 1 to enable the JMX agents; sets the value of 0pour disable JMX agents.

When you set enable Administration 1 remotely, a lightweight daemon rmiregistry process begins on the machine. Several areas on the same machine can share the same rmiregistry process using the same value of parameter of Port of Directors remotely, but these multiple domains must have unique domain names. When the rmiregistry process is started, it is never destroyed until the computer is restarted.

  • Remote Administration is NOT working at all - WAG200G

    Hi all

I recently placed a WAG200G to my home DSL and everything works fine.  I do portforwarding for my apps and all agree, except that I can't get the remote management works on the internet.  I tried with the default ports 8080 and personalized (5566, 77556, etc.) and none answer IE firefox or IE are upward in "cannot display the page" or "Connection reset".

"I read by train port 443 can work so tried, it appears the SSL warning to my wonderment, but once past security, towards ' cannot display the Page.  I also read 4899 port SHOULD BE OPEN to remote management work, but not clear what he meant by OPEN the port since the portforwarding section would not help pass a port to the gateway itself... isn't it?  I tried in vain with 4899 chosen as management port, as well.  Well, I used a WAG54GS recently which was not hard at all, just put any port and bingo remote management is in your hand.

I dyndns to collect my changing IPs, I've disabled the firewall and unchecked "lock anonymous Internet requests", SNMP is disabled assistant management remote etc...  I can also successfully telnet to my current host of property intellectual/dyndns public my remote management and telnet port is in.  So no ISP is no player here, its opening.

    What could be the cause?

Hi insaf_mohd. Try again using port 8080. Enable remote management, use port 8080 for the administration Port, and then click the Security tab and uncheck block anonymous requests WAN/Internet. Don't forget to save the settings. I hope this helps!

    Hello!

How can I distance administer (connect) on the desktop of the virtual user identically VNC simultaneously with the user?

vSphere Client show me the black screen.

For example, the MS Office administration...

You can allow the "Open Console" option through a GPO.

Via the PCOIP.adm file, enable the following:

Computer configuration-> policies-> administrative templates-> classic administrative templates-> Variables of PCoIP Session-> Overridable by default is-> enable access to a session of PCoIP from a console vSphere

After activating, you should be able to open the console and see what's to see the use. However, open the console was not the best option for us in our environment. We cannot resize the window so that we can see all of their screen. We must continually scroll down the window to move. What a pain! So, we decided to find another method and finished with Assistance remotely. You can enable the assistance remotely via GPO. You enable the setting here:

Computer configuration-> policies-> administration-> system models->-> Configure offer Remote Assistance Remote Assistance

After that you enable this setting, enter the desired account that are allowed to offer assistance, you can create a shortcut to %windir%\system32\msra.exe /offerra after you run the shortcut, simply enter the name of the computer and you will be asked your username to allow you access to their computer. We didn't mind the access request. He did our users feel more secure. They think we cannot see their screen without their permission, however, if you need to enter into their computer without their permission, you can use the function open the Console in vSphere.

    I hope this helps!

  • Remote administration of a PIX running as a VPN client

    Hello

I have a setup where a PIX501 works as a VPN client upward against my central VPN3000 concentrator (LAN-2-LAN with NAT - T mode).

External interface of the pix is behind a firewall managed by ISP to the remote end, and get it via DHCP IP address.

So far so good. This configuration works hotel.

The problem is that I can't ssh/telnet to the external interface of the PIX due to this configuration.

Would it not possible to ssh/telnet to the remote pix _inside_ interface?

I guess stuff NAT Bennett, but I can't make it work.

    Any ideas?

  • Remote Administration Gui + memory required?

I use the free version of the hypervisor and I was wondering if there is some kind of remote management gui available.  My server will be in a data center and I want to be able to manage the VM if possible.

In addition, my server has 16 GB of ram and I intend to put 2 mV; R2 2012 Windows and Ubuntu Server.

How hypervisor ram himself does need?

How much ram can I assign to each virtual machine? (I mean that they have equal amounts)

You can use the vSphere client to connect to your host?

ESXi itself has a very small footprint in terms of memory. In production environments, I see the hypervisor itself use somewhere around 200-300 MB. You could make 2 x 6GB for your virtual machines and still have "spare" 3GB for a little another VM in the feature. If you want to allocate memory the best I would go with the Windows configuration to 8 GB and Ubuntu to 6 GB, or just the opposite according to the functions they perform.

  • Without WiFi Smart remote administration

is it possible to access the WRT1900AC of the interface "the old-fashioned way", using a dedicated port? In this case, you would what port?

I would avoid using the way of Smart Wifi:

    1. with big companies be hacked, I won't have my password network stored somewhere on a Web server
    2. the Smart WiFi IOS app has all the features of the router (such as the use of the internet) and the app is the only way to connect to the router on an IOS device, in order to better connect directly to the router

Once the 3rd party firmwares are more developed (OpenWRT, DD - WRT, etc.) so you can get more features with those advanced.

  • The scenario that is balanced with two static routes without remote administration.

    Hello

I'm setting up a switch 3750 PSI using MHSRP provider on the side. In fact I use two GigaEthernet connections.

I want to create my side by using the static routes of load balancing, but traffic flows that I see are not identical or similar.

See the router # running | Start iproute

    [...]

    IP route 10.0.0.0 255.255.0.0 10.255.255.1
    IP route 10.0.0.0 255.255.0.0 10.255.255.6

    [...]

    Router # show ip route

    [...]
    S * 0.0.0.0/0 [1/0] via 192.168.0.254
10.0.0.0/16 is variably divided into subnets, subnets 23, 5 masks
    10.0.0.0/16 S [1/0] via 10.255.255.6
    [1/0] via 10.255.255.1

    [...]

Either way, ip cef is already activated

    Here is the result:

    Interface 1

GigabitEthernet1 is up, line protocol is up (connected)

    [...]

    Strategy of queues: fifo
    Output queue: 0/40 (size/max)
    5 minute input rate 35046000 bps, 4638 packets/s
    5 minute output rate 8671000 bps, 3846 packets/s

    Interface 2

GigabitEthernet2 is up, line protocol is up (connected)
    [...]
    Strategy of queues: fifo
    Output queue: 0/40 (size/max)
    5 minute input rate 1000 bps, 2 packets/sec
    5 minute output rate 3859000 bps, 1714 packets/s

    IP CEF:

    router ip cef #show
Interface of the jump following the prefix
    10.0.0.0/16 10.255.255.1 Vlan99
    10.255.255.6 Vlan99

I have no configuration is no longer on the interfaces. I would add the ip per instruction packet load balancing?

By default cef uses per load balancing destination, set ip load balancing by package on the concert links try again, are your equal to up to 10 links network on each side

  • Joined to a domain and an administrator remote after the installation of SP1, updated to 10 settings (clean install) then

Wipe the hard disk, reformatted and did a clean install of OS7 home (fossoyées pro hoping group domain policies and etc. would not be a problem).  But they are still there. Reinstalled again.  I can't remove the files manually, give me permission. Loading guard who looks like a fake update file, but I can't delete that either.  I'm at my wits end.  I also have a problem with one of my Outlook email accounts, displaying a string of what looks like a key under my user name.  I have dealt with this for 2 months.  had my machine to two different local mechanics and nothing.  Even exchanged the motherboard and the drive.  How's it relate?  I do not even use the same key.  The only way he could do it is through my network connection. (Disabled Wifi too).

I read something on the Panther Trojan and I do not have a file of Panther on my machine (which again, I can't delete).  I didn't even think that HOME version had this kind of remote administration and yet it moves it. Its load of 32-bit strange file and run it on a 64 bit system.  I don't know what to do from here.  I can't get a version of Windows installed which does not suck up all my processing power and crazy amounts of data transfer.  I pulled out an old HP Pav and am now loading XP on it.  At least I will be able to view and edit files it contains.  I don't think safe, even check my email on this machine. (I use my ipad for that).

Here are the results of the queries from the command line, screenshots and event log shears.   Since I was the last reinstall at about 21:00 there are 294 Logon and created special logons.  Not to mention that I had an another windows machine and one android corrupt their hooking up to my Dungeon phone.  The worst is a 10 years ' worth of my design files holding external drive.  Sighhhhhhh...

IM so sick of looking at this.  Im going to bed and hopefully not dreaming about it.  If someone can tell me how to stop this happening, I would SO appreciate it.  Support for Windows is a joke.

I have run 3 different programs of Virus Scan on it, reformat the drive twice (wiped to zero once), and used three different install media (three different versions of Windows. 0 s 7 home, pro and pro OS7 OS10 (7 pro is what I was running when this began).)  Again, it is after that I paid two services of different repair to diagnose, pull the wireless network card, replace the motherboard and replace the disk.  After that I freaked out on them they began to throw the installation discs and Home keys. lol seriously, I might as well throw my money down a hole. (the key I've finally pulled the machine isn't that I've never owned?) I guess that's why I'm trying so hard to get pure installed, I already so much money in it.  I should probably just give up and load Linux.

If I ever get my hands on this bloody trusted installer it is a dead man. Thanks in advance!

I went down there to v1.00.10 and the problem disappears, working until v1.00.15 and he presto is taking me to a search page if I try to use a dynamic dns name to resolve the remote administrator. If you use i.p. it gets you in the remote admin pages.

  • Management remote WAG120N + DDNS problem

    Hello

WAG120N has a problem with the connection of remote administration when DDNS is set up.

    Steps to reproduce:

    ===============

    1. enable remote management

    2 Configure DDNS (fe. DynDNS.org)

    3. try to connect to the router using the DDNS name, not IP

-Online web browser will go to an infinite loop of disconecting/connection to the router

4 detect the IP address of the router assigned the DDNS name (using the command nslookup fe.)

    5. try to connect to the router using detected IP address, DDNS name no

    -online connection successfully established

I use 3 different linksys to cisco routers, but only with WAS120N, I have such a problem. Is there any bugtrack system where I can log a bug on this issue?

Yes, I tried. I see that there is a new version that was released after my message from the forum. I can see that this one has been fixed in the release notes (* happy *). Going to try it...

  • Cisco Aironet SAP1602E - changing open to WPA - PSK access remote (RAP and map)

I currently have a deployment of Cisco Aironet SAP1602E Wireless point to point bridge (bridge using RAP and card, root wireless and Non-Root Bridge) to expand a layer 2 VLAN from one building to the other. It currently operates uisng open authentication and encryption - and is administered remotely via the bridge of root, to get wireless (manage) the bridge Non-Root - RAP wireless remote.

Try to configure the PSK WPA2-PSK remotely via the GUI or CLI - first setup - I informed a similar error to her below indicating that:

Error: Key-management WPA is requried for WPA-PSK
Read around, it seems, there is a configuration-control problem, and that I need to specify the mode as WPA2-PSK first, before then being able to specify the PSK there instead of using. However, as soon as this mode is specified on RAP, my remote administration is broken - as probably the RAP try to use WPA2-PSK to look for a PSK, which has not yet been configured. Am I missing something obvious here, or is the order of operations of CLI (1] convert to WPA - PSK; (2] shared secret to apply PSK) as a migration from open to WPA2-PSK cannot be configured remotely (short of preparation of a startup-config; TFTPing presents more; and issuance of a 'reload' remote control)? Can someone please enlighten me as to what the logic is here - no doubt I should be able to specify a PSK first (fo without worrying if I use WPA, WPA2 or other), and then be able to specify that I want as the layer of encryption (WPA) to make use of this pre-parameter PSK? If it was a router, you don't can me to add something to the authentication key chain OSPF; before clarifying its use - why so different Aironet Wireless IOS?

You're right, and because you will have to enter several lines of configuration to switch to WPA2-PSK with AES didn't really matter; the AP would reset the radio anyway because you make changes related to the radio interface. It would be very useful that if Cisco router/switch IOS 'macro' feature available AP thus in changes like this, unfortunately this is not the case.

Start with the nonroot AP and make sure that the following lines are added to your configuration. If you add by the console, the order must be like that, do it by downloading a new configuration of booting with tftp, that it does not matter.

    interface Dot11Radio0
encryption ciphers aes - ccm mode

    SSID dot11 TEST
    authentication wpa key management
    WPA - psk ascii 0
