  I got the router WAG160N for almost 1 month now and I never had to work more than an hour without problem. It seems like it to reinitialize all 10-15 minutes.   I recently bought a WAG160N, and have gotten it works with multiple computers using their internal adapters. However, I not was able to connect properly to my PC (x 64 SP1 Vista) that is using the WUSB300N adapter. It finds the network but when I try to log in it tells me that the network is 'unidentified' and there is no internet connection.

  I guess that the connection problem is due to a problem with my computer or the adaptor. I tried to reinstall the driver using the last available online and this has not solved the problem.

  I tried the key F2 + F3 + F4 on the keyboard combination, out batteries, changed the port USB receiver is connected to, reinstalled the drivers & checked the correspondence of the serial numbers on the keyboards and mice.

  Nothing has worked, worse yet another computer furthur down did exactly the same problem!

  Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem?

• Problem with wag160N router wireless

  Hi all. Sorry for the typos etc I am new in the forum :-). Please, if the subject has moved to another subforum do it.

  So, here's the problem: last week, I bought the WAG160N wireless-N adsl2 + modem router (version 2) and yestreday I formatted my laptop 2, so today I decided to install a new one.

  I work 2 hours on it now, but still I can't find a solution. I started with the first cd, as required by the guide. Everything works well until the installation wizard step that attempts to connect to the router. At this point, he's looking for 5 minutes and then he said that he is not able to communicate with the router and wonder to check the connection again. I connected everything as it should (the gray wire of telephone jack to the socket of the router that says DSL, cable - ethernet - yellow of Gate 1 of the router ethernet for the laptop and then the AC/DC to the router and power.) However, I have a second PC connected wirelessly with a map of WiFi PCI Edimax EW - 7728 In 802.11n http://www.edimax.co.uk/en/produce_detail.php?pd_id=225&pl1_id=1&pl2_id=44 . Initially, wireless has been brilliant, almost as fast as Wired. But now, it seems to have slowed just browsing Internet is very slow. If I go into the router and change the wireless channel speed increases a little but only for a short period of time?

  When I got the router it came with the Wireless - N USB Network WUSB300N adapt, but it never worked!
