  • Stuck "waiting for the printer to be available."

    After initially looking at it's going to print, the printer dialog box displays "waiting for printer to be available" and it's there (even if the printer - inkjet HP series C3800 - is ready).

    Here is what I tried:

    Using the HP utility software on the same computer, I am able to successfully print a test page, which rules out a problem with the printer and its connection to the computer.

    Printing worked normally before moving on to the Sierra. I tried resetting the printing system and add new printer (Sierra recognizes very well). I also tried to run in case disk utility have a permissions problem.

  • "waiting for encrypted google" does not allow me to open a Web site

    When I try to open lifenews.com, which I visited many times, there is a message saying left down "waiting for encrypted google." I don't even use google chrome? I don't know where to go to get rid of it, I don't want nothing blocked unless I specifically ask to be blocked. I did the research, said it's a blur, said another security settings to uncheck the ssl2 and ssl3. Nothing works. Can someone tell me please how to remove this thing waiting for encrypted google.

    You said blur, which is an add-on. Use the blur, or any extension of similar content filtering? If you think one of them might be the problem, you can test Firefox Safe mode. It is a standard diagnostic tool to disable extensions, hardware acceleration, and a few other advanced features of Firefox.

    Does not work if Firefox: Hold down the SHIFT key when you start Firefox.

    If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Mode safe mode using either:

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > restart with disabled modules
    • Help menu > restart with disabled modules

    and OK reboot.

    Two scenarios: A small dialog box should appear. Click on 'Start mode safe' (not update).

    Any improvement?

  • remove the pop up message "Waiting for in time real (target CompactRIO RT) to answer.

    Is there a way to remove the pop-up message "Waiting for in time real (target CompactRIO RT) to answer" what power is removed the cRIO or when the network cable is disconnected?

    Hey Danny,

    How did send you the commands to the Windows PC the cRIO? You use the remote FPGA host Interface?

    I've seen the pop-up dialog box when the LabVIEW project is not present.

    If you create a Windows VI that sends orders via shared variables or other network mechanism to a VI RT, which in turn controls your FPGA VI, then you should not ever see the popup you speak.

    This tutorial walks through creating an example of monitoring on cRIO with three screws as indicated:

    http://zone.NI.com/DevZone/CDA/tut/p/ID/11199#toc4

    This tutorial is an example of the use of a shared variable to implement a heartbeat, to determine if the cRIO is connected:

  • Waiting for tray 2 to lift? (color laserjet 5500 dtn)

    Printer displays the message "waiting for tray 2 to lift", also said that it is to treat the work but nothing is printing. Help please!

    The trays are lifted audiences on these, you might be able to go back, look at the back of the status bar (with a blowtorch), see if the tray is thrown.

    If this isn't the case, then check that the tray is not damaged, if it is OK, then you can change the paper pickup unit.

    The drive to lift for tray 2 is there.

    This is for the RG5-6670-110CN 5500.

    You can remove it but to replace the whole unit is only 2 screws and it comes out of the box the cartridge before, so it's a quick repair, not requiring no not a high-level engineer.

  • How do I suspend the application to wait for response from BluetoothSerialPort

    I worked on that for too many days without much progress, so hopefully for more help.  For this application, I started with one of the examples BluetoothSerialPort programs.  I've added a couple more screens so that I can display different information and send data via bluetooth connection. I built a Board that has a bluetooth module and a microproccessor to talk to a car via a network BOX.  I am able to send to and receive messages from the network at this point.  Currently, I try to get a RealTimeData screen to send messages CAN and then analyze the messages returned from the CAN. I'm sure there are much better ways to do this, but I'm new on this.

    Current issue: get the program to pause in order to wait for a response from the from the network.

    public void updateData(){
            String _dataString;
        if(_port != null){
        _data.delete(0, _data.length());
        sendCANMessage("7DF","8",false,"02","01","05","00","00","00","00","00");

        //pause(2000);
        Dialog.alert("before _data.toString()");

        _dataString = _data.toString();
        int indexOfRx = _dataString.indexOf("RX ");
        coolentTemp =
                   Integer.parseInt(_dataString.substring(indexOfRx+43,indexOfRx+45),16);
        coolentTemp = (((coolentTemp-40)*9)/5)+32;//subtract 40 then convert to F.

        efCoolentTemp.setText(coolentTemp + " F");
    }

    public void pause(int ms) {
            try {
            Thread.sleep(ms);
            } catch (InterruptedException ie){
                //do something
            }
        }

    The break (2000) (which is commented out in the code example above) does not work.  So far I was able to make it work by the Dialog.alert in there, because it seems to stop the function so that the data can be returned.  The break is so long because I manually hit the Send button while I test.  If I use the alert dialog boxes I can get to work analysis.  When I use the pause() function, it seems to stop running, but in the wrong place.  He pauses before the sendCANMessage function.

    Any ideas?  Examples of code would be very useful.  I use Eclipse w / plugin. I'd be happy to send the exported project if anyone is willing to look at.

    Hi and welcome to the forums.

    How do you run that?  You should not run the activity like this on the thread of events, but I suspect that since you can issue a Dialog.alert, you actually do.

    Also, since we do not know what sendCANMessage (.) did, it's a little difficult, of course what happens.  But I would certainly start by ensuring that you are not running on the thread of events.

  • Visual Studio Plugin: Waiting for Simulator to complete loading... forever.

    I created a Web Site (does change all the files - just left default.aspx).

    Then I changed to browse with default for blackberry.

    Then I pressed the green button of debugging.

    Beginning BlackBerry MDS - CS has been rapid.

    Then it opens emulator "BOLD" BlackBerry, and after awhile, I clicked on 'Détails' on the dialog box 'start debugging '. This is what he had:

    [Start BlackBerry MDS - CS] From BlackBerry MDS Connection Services...
    [Start BlackBerry MDS - CS] FACT!

    The device was done loading some time ago and I can even open the web browser in Microsoft device emulator and go to bing and even my http://localhost:xxxx / website1, or whatever.

    Any ideas?

    I have only 1 network card.

    I tried with my firewall and turn off.

    I got further away now though.

    I realized that if I hit F5 and then launch and I click 'Cancel' and then go to Task Manager and instead of killing the user interface process that loads the emulator instead of this I close the RIM.NET.XXX or whatever the process.

    Then wait for the emulator to access the main screen then press on F5 again to join occurs but the emulator can't hit google or my local host.

    A companion of mine office has been able to operate its box with the same approach "kill process".

    It is running Win XP with Visual Studio 2 k 8 (without service pack 1 even if the requirements say it needs service pack 1)...

    Do you think its because my OS is Win 2 k 3?

    And why did kill Rim.Net process also?

    Normally, chat window shown above BBM contacts, are you able to see any number against the cat, if cat watch, but you're not able to open the window, then please try a battery pull while devcie is on and re - insert the batteries after a min of waiting.

    If no window Cat County against chati s shows then no, you can click the contact to which you want to chat with and start chatting. A new chat window will launch automatically.

    Please come back, if I was not able to understand your question.

    Thank you.. !!

  • Waiting for libraries freezing photoshop

    I just did an nuance and tried to save it. As soon as I clicked on save swatch, the ' waiting for libraries ' dialog box popped up and won't go away. Overall the program is frozen. I can't same command + tab of the program to get anywhere else. I had to ride in the Apple menu and find safari as a 'new element' to type this message. The progress bar is filled, but the dialog box won't go away.

    I hope someone fixes this glitch. This is the second time that happens to me and all I know to do is force quit and lose all my work in the file, I'm working. :-(

    Nope. Any of my photos or edits would be lost, as is the program that you would be reinstalled, the catalog will remain intact, and all changes are stored in the catalog.

  • Wait for the entry?

    Hi all

    I need to create a custom entry dialog box and the problem I encountered is that I can't figure out how to make my request to wait for the user to complete the entries in the framework. When you use a JDialog or JOptionPane application will stop running and wait for the dialog box to close. My question is how to do something similar without using a JOptionPane or JDialog. I just can't figure out how to get the same effect by using a JFrame or other component. I know I could just use a JDialog or JOptionPane to get input from the user, but I'm just curious to know how I can stop running and wait for the entry as the JOptionPane allows you to do, but without using a JOptionPane or JDialog.

    Thank you for your help :)
    Nathan D.

    -----
    : Edit:
    I forgot to mention that the reason main I avoids JDialogs is I need the entry dialog box to be internal not external application I use mode exclusive fullscreen. And a JOptionPane does not allow me to add the other components too it such as JLabels and other GUI. I just need a way to get input from a component or internal window and wait for the entry as a JOptionPane or JDialog.
