WANT 4500: Difficulty Wireless

Today, I installed the ENVY 4500 series via internet on my laptop. I added this printer high tower of my hisband and my smart phone. I can print wireless at the same time, but not mine. I've been through several troubleshooting suggestions, especially taking the network connections that sound, with same name and also checked for firewall problems. Everything seems fine, except that I can't print from my computer. Point appears on the icon workstation as element in waiting, but no docuent appears when the device is open. I'm at a loss as to what I can do to alleviate this problem.

Thank you. After hours of trying to solve, I gave in and called HP support and the issue resolved.

    Hello @cr3,

Welcome to the forums of HP.

I understand that when you print from the internet it prompts you to save instead.

    I would like to help.

  • How can I get my Toshiba laptop to print to my HP 4500 printer wireless?

    * Original title: install a wireless printer

How can I get my Toshiba laptop to print to my HP 4500 printer wireless?

    Hello pastor,

Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft community.

Thank you for your query details.

I also like the fact you want to set up a wireless printer.

When you connect a printer to your computer, or add a new printer to your home network, you can usually start printing immediately. Windows supports most printers, and you'll probably go out your way to install the special printer software. If you use Windows 8.1 or 8.1 RT Windows, additional printers and drivers are available through Windows Update.

I suggest you follow the steps in these articles and check if it helps.

  • E-all-in-one printer WANT 4500

I install the 4500 e-all-in-one WANT to print wireless from my laptop Vostro 1500 (XP Pro). Internet connection through the modem of Connect USB clear. I do not see my wi - fi listed, and it is impossible to recover my SSID. Next step?

Thanks for the quick respinse. I was able to get in touch with the internet provider. Wireless communication with the printer is not an option with my current service (USB modem), so I'll print the old-fashioned way, until I found a service easier to work with.

    Thank you once again!

  • HP OfficeJet Pro L7590 want to use wireless

I have a HP OfficeJet Pro L7590 (all-in-one) want to use wireless.

I have a laptop Apple Macbook (mine) and a laptop IBM thinkpad (from my company that I keep with me).

How can I use the wireless all-in-one with two laptops - what equipment do I need and where can I find it?

    Thank you

    Judy Uridge

You must have the wireless router if you want both a wireless connection. The printer has no built-in wireless so you need to connect to the router wireless using a LAN cable. And before you can do this, you must set up your own network first. You must call your router or your ISP factory to set up your own network of wireless configuration.

For more information on the configuration of the printer on the network, you can find this useful link.

  • Want 4500: Wireless Direct does not

    Hi all

I am setting up my new HP envy with my MacBookPro on OS X 4500. First of all, I bought the printer because I can not connect to the printer and my laptop to the same wireless network.

I installed all the drivers, but the printer prints only when my laptop and printer are attached to my phone, which is infeasible in the long term because of the cost. The printer is to distribute the signal wireless very well, but my mac cannot connect to it.

I tried to reboot both several times.

I would be grateful for any help

    Hi @RiverCam101

What happens when you try to connect your Mac to the network Direct printers wireless?  While I wait for you, if it please go to the front of the printer, press the arrow down and select the settings menu. In the settings menu, go to and select without wire, then search for and select Advanced settings. Now in advanced settings you can go to choose IPv6, please disable IPv6 and restart the Mac connection.

Please let me know if this change fixes the problem, or if you need assistance. If you need additional assistance, please do not forget to let me know what happens when you try to connect the Mac on the network. Thank you.

  • Want 4500: Printer 4500 desire does not recognize my password wireless

I bought a new printer 2 weeks ago - the installation was successful, and I was able to print several times on the wifi network. But for some reason any it stopped working a week later. I now have a blue light flashes next to the wifi on the printer symbol and when I get the wifi settings, select my network and enter the password wifi the printer tells me that it is a wrong password and it cannot connect. I also tried to restore the settings of the default printer, however, I get the same problem.

I scoured the web & forums to find a solution to it, but without success. Please tell me how I can fix the problem! Thank you!

Yup blue flashing light means that you are not connected to your routers SSID. For test purposes, remove your SSID of the router password. Now try to connect to your SSID unsecured? Are you successful? If so, go back and add a WPA2-AES encryption with your password.

  • Want 4500: documents disappear from the print queue

Want to 4500 and problem of Windows 8

Test print from computer works with HP Printer Wizard.

However, printing documents from applications fails. Documents go in the queue and then disappear - just like they should be ended at printing. Only the indication of a problem, it's that nothing prints. (Not even the sound of the printer.)

    Hello

First try following the tool below by selecting the difficulty of printing and check if this may help you:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?cc=us&LC=en&JumpID=ex_r4155/HHO/IPG/ccdoc/printer_diag/&softwareitem=MP-141412-1

If the same persists, install the hotfix followng and check differences:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/3000461/en-us

If all of the above has not resolved the problem, is your printer connected wirelessly or via a USB port?

Your version of Windows is 32 or 64 bit?

  • Want 4500: password WPA

I want to 4500 that was connected to my laptop via WiFi and everything worked fine for about 3 months. However, for some reason, labour stoppped printer via wi - fi (but ok worked on cable). I tried all sorts of remedies, including remove them and to deliver software, diagnostic tools, the router turning off the coast and etc. but all without success. I printed the test reports and, apparently, the WPA security password (whatever!) on the printer does not match the router. Try as I may, I can't know what is a WPA. I have a BT Home Hub 3, which has a label on it showing the SSID, wireless, WPS Pin and password Admin key, but not WPA.

Can someone give me some clues?

    Thank you very much

If you have not changed anything in the router, you must use the key as your paraphrase of WPA Wireless.

  • Want 4500: How to scan to e-mail from my desire to 4500

Hello, how can I email a scan directly from my printer, I have can´t look for the scanning application to E-mail my urge 4500 All in One Printer.

I bought this printer because it is stated in the product specification Page:

    Hello again,

5530, 5640 envy envy, envy 5660 and 7640 want all support scanning to Email to a stand-alone printer. Of course, the printer must be connected wireless to a network and the network must have access to the Internet. These models also support scan to PC, as long as you install the software provided with the product.

I have a 7520 Photosmart and Officejet 8040 with e-mail stand-alone scanning and personally, I love it. I find it more practical to send files directly from the printer.
