WANT memory Upgarde 23

Hello

I'm upgrading from memory in my DESIRE of 23 from 8 GB to 16 GB. All I have to do is add a component of 8 GB more to another empty location. Systems already comes with a 8GB PC3 chip SKhynix. The question is: should I buy just another one as that comes from the system if it is really quality one, or should I buy two CRUCIAL 8 GB if they are really recommended.

Thank you

Hello

Buy HP 8 GB dimm module and avoid problems of shifts of DIMM or DIMMS not working do not. And, if that does not work then put the onus on HP.

    Hi Bob,

    The following link will take you to a page containing all relevant information on memeory upgrades for your 4600 (including part numbers.

    http://www.orcalogic.co.UK/ASP/ProdType.asp?ProdType=5778&ft=m&St=3

    I think that your device has two memory slots, and I assume that you currently have a home in use with 128 MB of RAM installed (the 4600 had 64 MB or 128 MB).

    RAM modules are available in sizes 64 MB, 128 MB and 256 MB.

    The maximum that you can install is 512 MB (i.e. 2 X 256 MB modules. The amount that you need will depend greatly on what applications run you as well as what operating system, but the usual recommendation is a minimum of 512 MB for windows XP (at least for the earlier OS).

    The RAM modules are normally accessed from the bottom of the unit. Normally, there is a cover with 2 or more screws. Check you manual for the exact location on your device.

    My question is can he take a single module of memory of 2 GB, or do I have to put in the memory modules 2-1 GB?

    This link will tell you exactly what options you have for memory upgarde and show you the exact memory modules you need.  Crucial memory of brand is among the best around in, in my opinion.

    Click on the link and then on the step 3 choose your exact model number. I is really easy as 1, 2, 3 with this link.

  • Simple questions on the earphones of events and memory management

    I am brand new to AS 3.0 (have not coded in 10 years!) and I have a two part question on the management of event listeners.

    1. is it possible to use variables or loops to simplify the process of creating event listener? For example, I have a scene that animates the leaves when they are hit. There are 25 or more leaves, so I need to handlers of 25 and 25 functions, even if the animation is the same. Right now my code looks like this:

    leaf1.addEventListener (TouchEvent.TOUCH_BEGIN, animateLeaf1);
    leaf2.addEventListener (TouchEvent.TOUCH_BEGIN, animateLeaf2);
    leaf3.addEventListener (TouchEvent.TOUCH_BEGIN, animateLeaf3);

    etc. And then the functions all alike as well.

    function animateLeaf1(e:TouchEvent): void {}
    leaf1.gotoAndPlay ("animationStart");
    }

    function animateLeaf2(e:TouchEvent): void {}
    leaf2.gotoAndPlay ("animationStart");
    }

    etc. My instinct tells me there is an easier way to do this, but I don't know if it's just because I see a model and want to put it in a loop or if there is really a better way to do it. I have event listeners are doing right?

    2. How can I clean my waste? Each of my frames will have 100-300 earphones of events inside, for animations, etc., mainly because a single button can have 3-5 event listeners (touch Start, end touch, touch roll on, roll off touch, etc.). Is this too much for a mobile device to manage? When can I disable event listeners to make sure that they are the garbage collector to release the memory? I don't want memory leaks, but the event listeners must be active when the frame is active and destroyed when the setting is inactive; I don't know how to program which, or if such a garbage collection is already inherent in Flash.

    Thank you very much!
    Amber

    leaf1.addEventListener (TouchEvent.TOUCH_BEGIN, animateLeaf);

    leaf2.addEventListener (TouchEvent.TOUCH_BEGIN, animateLeaf);

    leaf3.addEventListener (TouchEvent.TOUCH_BEGIN, animateLeaf);

    leaf4.addEventListener (TouchEvent.TOUCH_BEGIN, animateLeaf);

    function animateLeaf(e:TouchEvent): void {}
    e.currentTarget.gotoAndPlay ("animationStart");
    }

  • My HP Pavilion Notebook of 15 will take more fast RAM?

    I recently bought a laptop HP Pavilion 15 - p199sa that has a single stick of RAM 8 GB which I want to change for 2x4gb or 2x8GB modules in order to use the dual channel operation.

    Installed the module is DDR3-1600 (PC3-12800).

    I ran the memory key auditor and among the 'compatible results' he returned DDR3 1866 (PC3-14900) modules.

    I also ran "HWinFO64" that says that the current "maximum supported clock" is 800 Mhz - this will be changed in the BIOS or something, if this notebook can use faster RAM?

    Finally, I'm looking for the 1866 DDR3 (PC3-14900) modules to have coverage so I can't see if they have 4 or 8 black blocks on them - is this a problem, too? (I have read in a message here, "HPs really want memory low density... "8 black blocks each side.

    Thank you for your time

    John latter

    If you put in memory PC3-14900 (DDR3-1866) works but she will downclock at 1600 mhz speed. It's 800 mhz and double speed (2 x) up to 1600. There is no way to make the memory bus run faster for you would be wasting money and effort to try to bring in something faster. If you want the laptop to be generally more sensitive than install an SSD.  And Yes, HP laptops prefer low density memory.
