Want to k201tx: is there a way to disable Optimus constantly and always manually change the graphics card?

I hate optimus.

I want full control.

If I lose power by running firefox with GTX850M, so be it!

Manual adding applications is not a good solution. Windows itself (when no application is open) continues to use the HD 5500 graphics.

I want full control. When I want HD 5500, I want to select manually. When I want to 850M, I want to select manually.

Automatic switch does not work properly all the time, and once more, if no application does work and I am sitting idly on the windows splash screen do nothing, the computer uses HD5500, GTX No.

How to take manual control at all times? I don't mind using HD5500, but I don't want the computer to automatically select HD5500 when the load is low. I'll pick myself.

And Yes, changing it to 'MANAGE the SETTINGS--> SETTINGS GLOBAL 3D' will not work.

The computer always uses HD5500 when you sit idly on the desktop. I assume that the parameter only works for 3D applications and Windows desktop is not a 3D application?

It's crazy. I want full manual control. I want a drop down menu or something that will allow me to select the default global values (not only for 3D). If I select Intel, everything (including MS FSX) will run on Intel. If I select GTX, everything (including the windows desktop) will run on 850 M.

How can I do this? Help, please.

There is no way to do this with systems of Optimus, I'm sorry to say.
