  Before I run the Repository Wizard, I started the scripts:

  I found my mistake. The space was too small :-(

• Oracle Warehouse Builder and MySQL as a target for mappings

  its me again. Now with another problem.
  I use the Oracle Warehouse Builder 11.2.0.1 and MySQL 5.1.1. I have connected to MySQL, imported from all tables - well. Now, I would like to use the tables in Oracle 11 g as a source and MySQL tables as a target for my maps. Since there are different servers, I used the model mappings. The problem is I get the error during the deployment process. I even can't deploy/create simple tables for the MySQL module. So I was wondering if it is even possible to use MySQL as the target? Or can I just use MySQL as a source?

  It seems that the connectors are not deployed. The connector is at the location of the CCA to the location source or target used in your mapping. You can try to deploy the connectors of the CCM user interface, it will be deployed as J2EE data stores in the CCA. Thus, the name not found error, is the name within the CCA for the J2EE data store, deployment of the connector should solve that. They should be deployed automatically I think that it may therefore be that there is an error in deployment of connector, you need to check.

  The mysql JDBC driver you copied into the appropriate directory for the CCA before the CCA?

  I'm trying to build and deploy the sample application for my Dev Alpha a. Rssnews.

  I use the 4 SDK beta

  The sql query is very good, and when I run the script in SQL developer, it works ok. However, when I try to deploy the mapping that uses the function, I get this error:

• Deployment of mapping a error: duplicate database link exists

  If all goes well, it is a simple question. I have worked with OWB 10 g 2 for some time now without any problems. My project finished and I went to a different environment of OWB, always 10 gr 2 and now my mapping deployments are errors during deployment. Whenever I try to deploy the mapping, OWB also tries to create the database link, regardless because it already exists. It does not deploy the database link, but mapping deploys successfully, however. If I drop the database connection, and then to deploy a map there is no error but then if I deploy a second mapping back again (no surprise here).
  
  I tried to deploy the connector by assigning 'replace' and click on deploy. Which was fine, but according to, OWB, even though I just replaced the existing link DB, it has not yet see it was created. OWB always considered this connector as 'new '.
  
  Anyone know what I need to do for OWB to stop trying to deploy the DB link with each mapping? How can I tell him that the DB connection exists and that it is correct?

  I had the same question a few days ago... I'll tell you how I solved it.
  I think the real problem is that the link never gets marked as deployed => therefore, it is deployed with each mapping is to use it!
  You can even try to deploy it on its own and deploy process completes without error, but it is not marked as deployed...
  Why the link can't be marked as deployed? Whence the db_link?
  The link points to a location where you dragged a table (or any object) on your map.
  In my case, the location was first created and saved by another user before starting the development of a project (with a new user).
  I recorded the location with the original user and he scored again with my user that I could deploy and get marked accordingly.
  It is never apperead in my mapping deployments.

  I tried to install the generator Datawarehouse Oracle 11 g on Windows XP 32-bit machine, however, when browsing to the repository Explorer a "page cannot be displayed error" is displayed. Basically, everything I've done so far is step through the installation wizard. Basic troubleshooting (see link below) has not improved issues as well; and not a good google search.

• Slate 7 voicetab: problem with Google Maps.

  Friends, long since I've updated my tab to Kitkat of JellyBean, I have a problem with Google maps. Whenever I use Google maps, it freezes the tab at some point and then I have to restart the tab. I updated the app several times and restored too. A tab reset but still having the same problem. What should I do to prevent it? At the moment I use 'maps', but I need to use Google maps.   Well, the fundamental difference is hard to tell. ODI is based on so-called knowledge module. These are implementations for physical access to all type (among others) different database technologies. So ODI used to be more flexible data extraction technology of database different and also written their. But with 11.2 OWB, these knowledge modules have been integrated in owb under so-called model mappings. OWB has stronger integration with the Oracle database and Oracle database is still required. Plans of Oracle to integrate these two tools in one some day, whenever that will be. ODI offers more options for the quality of the data (which are charged extra).

  Technically speaking, both tools are not very different. They have different UIs anyway.

  A big difference is the license. A basic version of OWB is included with the license database, it can be used without extra charge. Most of our customers use this version, even for implementations of large dwh. If you buy'm license ETL (or already have one), you can use both tools.

  Before decide you on one of the tools, make sure you have enough staff with the right skills available - internal or external.

  My question is: Warehouse Builder is a way to create relationships between the Dimension Tables and one fact Table?

  We have produced paintings, customer, sales. So product and customer become a dimension table and sales become a fact table. In this fact table, we store the product_table_key, the customer_table_key and the messure of sale itself.
  If we think of datamodeling aspects our relationship 1: n between product_dimension_table and fact_table and also a relationship 1: n between customer_dimension_table and fact_table.
  How can we create these reports in the Warehouse Builder?
  If we design the objects of SQL database, we could create the need forced like that:

  Hi David,

  You can create the foreign key in OWB.
  An example of comprime1 that is created or imported in OWB.
  Open the T1 table in the data editor.
  Click constraints
  Type a name for the constraint
  Set the foreign key type
  Choose the local column on which you want to create the FK
  Now goto reference tab and choose the table and column (PK) whereby the CF should have a reference.
