WARNING: Your computer may be infected.  Call 866-955-6104

This happened:

Then, I was unable to close the page, or Chrome, I've tried several times to quit smoking.  I finally forced to shut down the entire system.  It was on my iMac.  I took this screenshot before that I forced its closure.  I am now on my laptop, I was wondering what I need to do.  Do I need to take steps to remove a virus or malware on my iMac?  Most of my searches on Google for this problem referenced PC only.  I'm confused!

It's a hoax, ignore it. Do NOT call the number.

  • Outlook Express could not be started. The application was unable to initialize the store directory. Your computer may be out of memory or your disk is full. Error code: 0 x 80007114

Operating system Windows XP, at startup, I get the message: "Outlook Express could not be started. The application was unable to initialize the store directory. Your computer may be out of memory or your disk is full"and displays the error code: 0 x 80007114.  (I have a new drive hard with enough space) Outlook Express always open well and functioning normally.  The message mentions and how to fix the problem?  Thank you, Rick

Jump here (nothing Bruce suggested is false), I did a search and found this old article (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/245419), which indicates that there is a bad entry under the identity key in the registry (see www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx for background).  So if it's a big problem, you can do the steps suggested in this article and that will fix it.  Or if you have just one account, then backup your settings and the identity key and then delete the identity key and then start OE and it will establish a new, and you can then set up your account again, and then import the messages from the older directory.  But it does not indicate the major corruption, so you can just ignore it.

I think it was the rogue and I hung the phone. I realized that my computer has been hacked. first of all, I couldn't open the photo file "access denied" but I was able to access my files.

    Hello

Never, ever install a registry cleaner.

We do not recommend using any registry cleaners, optimizers, the Driver Updaters, Tune - Up utilities, etc.

They can do more harm to your any good operating system that they claim to be able to do.

And it is an interesting read from Microsoft:

    "Are registry cleaners necessary?

    Caveats

    • Some programs available for free on the Internet may contain spyware, adware or virus. Only download and install programs from software publishers that you trust. Even if the website, that you download the program trust, you must also trust the Publisher of the program. For more information, see when to trust a software publisher.

    • We strongly recommend that you change only the values of the registry that you understand or have been ordered to change by a source of that confidence. Be sure to back up the registry before making any changes.

Got a message saying my computer may be infected and my Windows Installer is missing...! How can I solve?

    Hi JohnYusko,

    1. have you done any hardware changes or software on your computer before this problem?

    2. do you have security software installed on your computer?

    3. when exactly you receive this error message?

    (a) I recommend you run a virus scan online from the link given below and check if the problem persists:

    Microsoft safety scanner

Also, make sure that you have the latest update of the software antivirus installed on your computer, so that it works correctly.

    (b) you can also download & run Microsoft Security Essentials on your computer.

Due to Windows Installer, you try to unregister Windows Installer, and then reregister Windows Installer and check if the problem persists. To do this, follow these steps:

    a. initially, box run, type "msiexec /unreg" and press ENTER on the keyboard.

    b. Type "msiexec/regserver" and press ENTER on the keyboard.

    Hope the helps of information.

You can always call HP Support Assistant manually and check to see if he tried to get your attention.

If you do not have the HPSA icon in your taskbar, then you can search the HPSA and start it:

Start > search / type "HP Support Assistant" > and then click on it to launch it.

    See 'maintenance'...

    • Click in the Section 'Tune Up' > display settings > Notification settings >
    • and see how you have your Notifications implemented, you can change the settings if you like.

    After checking:

If you think that the message has been sent to you by "something other" than HPSA, run a scan in depth on your computer to eliminate infections or any malware as possible.   Use your best protection antivirus and Windows Defender to start.

  • Why Windows Security Alerts tells me "your computer might be at risk", although Microsoft Security Essentials is installed, running, day and do what it was designed to do?

    This bug won't be fixed?

    Good question.
Assuming that there is no malware and MSE is indeed enabled and up-to-date, you probably experience the effects of a condition of competition ',' Security Center where his thing before MSE does his. It is very common; I wouldn't worry on this subject (even if it's boring!).

  • Flash CS5 could not load stage in memory. Your document may be damaged.

    Hi all!

Just bought the new Flash CS5 and was eager to start my first paper. I opened a new document registered on start and then configure my basic page with only an imported graphic. Click on save and received an error message: could not load stage in memory. Your document may be damaged. When I closed and reopened the document this same error appears twice in my menu "output".

I noticed people with many of the simular issues and don't know where to start find an answer. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    Biddler1

It's just import a graphic into your file and save the file? Since you have not done much with the file, I just would say about this one, delete it and start over. But, is - this happen every time? Try different things before you save the file, as instead of importing a graphic, draw shapes of basic with the drawing tools, and save the file.

If the problem persists, rather strange, it's either a problem installing, or your computer may not be responding the minimum requirements to run Flash.

  • Your company has never called a home residence to say that a computer has been infected with malicious malware?

I just got a phone call from a person stating they are from Microsoft saying that my computer is infected. They asked me to run something and then they gave me a webiste to type. I was very tired and I asked for a phone number and she gave me 1-416-915-3536 or 1-800-500-44600 and ask Christine.

    Is - is this legitimate?

    Please notify.  Thank you... Bernadette

It is a scam.  Whatever you do, don't let them get close to your computer.  MS does not have that kind of appeal.

    Good luck.
