Warnings of power transceiver optics EEM

I am wanting a script that will generate a message to syslog for alarms and warnings of power tx/rx combine.  I would like to use the 'inter radio show' command that generates output similar to the output below (see also the output file attached)

switch6504 #show inter transceiver

port temp volts current tx power optical rx optical power

Te3/7        34.1          0.00          41.8 --            -2.0 - -                          -5.1 -

Note: A single hyphen after number is a warning and a double hyphen is an alarm

I'm eager to EEM script to generate a message to syslog for the warning or alarm power tx/rx.  Two messages different syslog:

(1) syslog = 'has $interface of an alarm of tx/rx optical power.

(2) syslog = '$interface has a warning of tx/rx optical power.

I am only concerned the tx/rx power.  I would like the script runs every 30 minutes. If there is a warning alarm / on an interface to send a syslog once every 24 hours, while the conditions are still met.

I started the script (see attachment), and I'd appreciate any help.

Thank you!!

Give this one a try.

    Hey Buddy,

To be honest, I don't know what you mean exactly.
Can you post a screenshot or tell us what program you mean exactly?
In addition, the exact model laptop with OS preinstalled number would be interesting.

In general all start up programs, you can disable in msconfig. You can also see the program directory where it s installed.

  • T430 optical drive power management?

I remember when I first to get unity in its pre-installed state, I have to press on the eject button on the optical drive twice, first to turn it on and secondly to actually eject.

But now I installed a new Windows 7 x 64. I downloaded the drivers and the power of the Lenovo site management software and installed. Much of the work of things, but doesn't seem that the optical drive is still on, i.e. only pressing the eject button ejects the disc.

May I know if the power management actually manages the power of optical disc when it is not in use?

Well, I discovered the cause, I did not install the AHCI driver. After installing, there is an option to automatically turn off the player.

  • Need help for optical safety circuit.

I buy these parts and prototype with real components, but since I multisim, I thought it would be nice to create the circuit and maybe work through issues I can practically.

I need a circuit that takes 120 VCA, generates 5 VDC and 1.5Vdc power of optical transmitter and receiver.  I actually use a data port because he has great range and is pretty cheap.  Rather than send the binary code well I just send a light stead that is broken or not broken through doors and windows in my house.  Then the receiver sees this as an entry and order a relay.

I tried several voltage regulators that come with multisim, but I get an error of execution of my circuit.  Really I can't the 120 VAC to power levels necessary for the functioning of the optics.

Otherwise I might want to run on a system 120Vdc with battery backup, so throw a 120Vdc up to 20 v DC switching power supply - but I have not found a SMP in the library which takes 120 as input and as output 20.

Basic plan: 120VAC source-> transform to 24Vac-> Full bridge rectifier to ~ 20 v DC-> voltage capacitor filter on the input of two voltage regulators (1 to 5 VDC, 1 to 1.5Vdc) - then circuit since the two power supply of the transmitter and the receiver.

I just need help for 5V and 1.5V, from there, I know that the real world circuit will work component tests already carried out.  Thanks for reading.

I didn't Multism so I can't advise you on the compatible models. I ran the model on semiconductors with slight modifications of format on my SPICE simulator based on Berkeley Spice 3f5. I had to change the format of model resistance semiconductors appeal but has not changed any values.

The output of your power supply circuit 3 (with 5 V, not the 1.5 V regulator regulator) was 4.99995 V.

There are a few messages about changing templates published for compatibility Multisim woth. You can search those to see if there are any suggestions on what you'll need to fix in the model.

  • Windows 7 sees not SATA optical drives

My engraver of CD/DVD Lite-On (model No.: iHAS324-98Y) managed to install Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit on my new custom PC.  A few days later, I installed ASUS BR - ROM (model No.: BC-08B81ST) and the two discs have been palying OK.  A week later, I installed recorders Blu - Ray LG (model No.: WH10LS30) without a hitch.

A few days after that, as soon as I opened up Explorer to move the internal HHD to an external HARD drive files, I couldn't see any which icon for optical drives.  I thought I had the virus but utilities Norton scanned no virus trouble.  Then, I searched the internet for a solution but nothing help. If I delete the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters of CD-ROM/DVD-ROM readers reg Key {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} optical drive icons came back, but Windows 7 does not start (or crashes) after that unless the previous setting is restored.

After a few hours cause analysis I went through the root, I think that the update of Windows 7 has contributed to this problem because I remember once again the PC installed upgrading during the power down, optical drive icons in the Panel of the computer is gone.  Has no known members the same problem?  Any Member draws the same conclusion?

Note: I have to contact the manufacturer of Lite-On and they told me the drive isn't compatible Windows 7, but a guard thing listen why it worked in the first place because I used it to install Windows 7 on my PC.  My ASUS models and LG was working after I installed them even if they do not have the Windows 7 compatibility logo.

    What I did:

    (1) Re0installed Windows 7 Ultimate.

    (2) re-installed all the software application.

    (3) I have not installed any Windows updates.

Since then, al of my optical drives are working properly.

I just finished a new construction, including Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.  Update all the drivers went through, and now I get BSOD.  Initially, I'd get them, after that the system wake up to 'sleep' mode, but this morning I received after you start the computer from the closure.  They are the mistakes STOP F4, and I'm sure that there is a way to fix them, I just need help on where to start.  After a few reboots to check the version of the BIOS and what not, the computer would no longer connect to the internet.
    Here is my configuration:

Motherboard: ASRock H77M Micro ATX LGA1155 motherboard

And here are two mistakes STOP I was able to capture up to now:

  • Can I use Dell original product key to activate a clean Windows installation after I have replace/upgrade motherboard, processor and other key components?

I have a Dell computer, with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit installed in the factory. There is a product code for windows on the sticker on the box. My problem is that the motherboard and CPU are released. I intend to replace and update the motherboard failed and cpu, ram, power supply, optical drive and eventually put in a larger hard drive. From what I read, I can not simply start the machine with the original hard drive, with windows already installed and activated. So if I wipe the hard drive (or put it in a new), can I clean install Windows 7 and then just use the product key on the sticker on the box to activate the new installation? Or what I need to buy a new copy of Windows 7?

I've also read on other threads, that you can "transfer" a license of Windows 7 on a different machine only if it is a "commercial" version, not OEM. If the version of Windows that is preinstalled on a Dell computer would be "retail" or "OEM"? And to reactivate the software on a rebuilt/updated machine up-to-date with the new motherboard, etc. would constitute a 'transfer to a new machine' or reactivation just on a computer upgraded?

The OEM of Windows 7 versions are identical to the versions commercial full license with the following exception:

-OEM versions don't offer any free direct support from Microsoft technical support Microsoft

-OEM Licenses are tied to the computer first you install and activate it on

-OEM versions allow all hardware upgrades except for an upgrade to a different model motherboard

-OEM versions does not move directly from an older Windows operating system

Your ideas are much appreciated (and if you can back it up with docs, it would be useful also! ^_^)

It seems that your remote line is the sending of a relatively high output power and/or you have a connection very short fiber with very little loss. Since you are only at the beach 'warning', you are not likely to damage any of the SFP receiver or adversely affect the operation of the network.  You don't have the possibility to add an Optical Attenuator on the link to make the action more within the specification range.

  • Feature "Automatically turn off the optical drive" deleted in Power Manager 6.61 Update?

    Hello Lenovo Community!

    I'm running a Lenovo W510 4391-A72 Windows 7 Professional (x 86) SP1.

Recently, (thanks to sclexman for helping me) after the installation of System Update 5.05 and update all my Lenovo software, including Power Manager (6.65.2-> 6.66.1), the ability to 'Automatically power down from optical drive' is no longer available! Is there an explanation as to why this feature was removed?

If so, is it possible to restore this functionality?

    Thank you

    it_geek.

Shortly after that I posted about I tried to redo the system update. Wa - la, when you mentioned something about Intel AHCI rapid storage driver I checked to see that when the system update ran the last time he uninstalled the old version but somehow, it didn't update the new version in. System update has since installed version 12.8.10.1005, and the option appears according to normal on Power Manager 6.66.1.

  • Missing optical drives after removal and reinstallation of the only power cables.

I had a problem with my cd - rw (plextor px-5224ta) and dvd - rom not opening not readers.  I opened my case and only disconnected the power cables, leaving cables ribbons connected, so that I can drag players a bit and work with trays to correct.  Once this was accomplished, I reinstalled the screw on their trays and reconnected power cables.  I start and the discs are recognized only in the Setup, nothing in the Manager device or workstation tab 'manage '.  Once XP starts they disappear completely, no yellow exclamation point, no code error 39, etc just disappeared.  I searched through endless forums and this site and tried everything that has been mentioned previously (double check all physical connections, remove case filters in the registry, the thing FixIt from Microsoft).  When none of that worked, I figured that the discs themselves were dead, even if they would be open, close and turn.  I cannibalized another pc with a cd - rw to hitachi and who threw in there without change.  I booted from the cd - rw with no problems, but windows is not yet anything optical displays on my system.  The cd - rw and dvd - rom are configured as IDE primary master and slave, respectively, although I've tried in the secondary without success.  It seems to me that I have completely a software problem.  I think I'm pretty computer savvy but I am down to a reinstall of XP MCE and I wanted to check with the experts, if I had missed something before.  And if it doesn't I'll throw him off the roof :-)

    Thanks in advance,

Thank you for your message.  Your troubleshooting steps are healthy, the only thing that I would recommend before you resort to the "roof" or "Reinstall" would update the firmware or drivers.  You should be able to find this on the part of the manufacturer of your computer or the website of the manufacturer of the CD - RW.  Please let us know if it did or did not help to solve your problem.
    See you soon

  • My Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse does not communicate with the Transceiver.

After the return from a road trip, I plugged my Miccrosoft wireless optical mouse and keyboard. At first, communicate with my Toshiba Satellite laptop, but the keyboard now works. The mouse works sporadically if I push the reset button on the Transceiver and he travels the three lights. When I check the State of the mouse, it shows good batteries (I replaced the still) and the right signal. The computer apparently see the mouse, but somehow the orders do not get through the ARVA. Any ideas?

    Hi Peter,.

What is the model number of the Microsoft Wireless Optical mouse?

I suggest you try to connect the transceiver to another port. Then check the behavior of the device. By trying the receiver on a different port, you can eliminate all the problems affecting the port itself.

You can access the links below and follow the steps described in section troubleshooting problem mouse Microsoft Wireless on your computer and check to see if it helps you solve the problem.
