  You apply the wave as an effect to a rectangle? Then it will warp only what's inside the rectangle, not the form itself.

  I have a text layer that I want to do some deformations in. All the options are greyed out when I hit the warp text tool? Any help? Either way, I tried just warp transform it but no "handles" appear...

• Why does the warp tool work in free transformation more

  I used to use the warp function all the time with free transform, but now it seems not to do anything. I can select, format choices, but the grid is not displayed on this subject so I can transform into another form.

  Have not set something up with the latest version? I don't understand what happened.

  What type of layer that you use it on? String won't work with text layers, for example.  Try on a raster layer and come back if it still does not.

  Hi all -

  After the havoc the internet for hours, I decided to turn here for help. Anyone can notice by some good tutorials written for the Warp tool that go beyond the basics? I thought maybe someone here might have some good ideas on where I could find a good tutorial. A good video tutorial would be welcome, however.

  I would like to learn more about handles and their properties (for example) that don't cover in the tutorials Google launches back to me. I would like to know more than the basics of using the tool, but all I find are video tutorials that I can't seem to grasp or are not sufficiently detailed. Yes, I am aware that the Warp tool is a tool to... pie as simple to use, and for the most part, I agree. However, I am a newbie idjt.

  I have a project where I have a knot in something and I would like to make out where everything is aligned. Both with regard to the General knowledge of personnel also.

  I don't know if you have already seen, but PSDTuts + has a very good tutorial: Making Sense of the Warp tool - it's lines. In his tutorial, they twist a model around a tree - which looks pretty similar to what you described above.

  And to clarify, when you say that the Warp tool, you mean the action of transformation, correct? (Edit > transform > Warp)

• Warp Brush tool: Preview vs. results

  Hello again,

  Since my previous Illustrator question you have answered if quickly today, I thought I would post another problem that I have met with HAVE.

  When I use the Warp tool, I get a nice smooth preview (contour) of how I want my form to deform. But I release the brush, it makes almost never as smooth as his prediction. I tried to change the Warp Options (such as detail and simplify) but I always get unexpected results. I am sure that user error, how can I get the results of string to more closely match the look I get when you drag the Warp tool?

  Stabilizer chain was introduced in CS6. It is not available in first Pro CS5. Yes, you will need to use After Effects to stabilize your footage. Here's a tutorial for you: How to smooth the shaky video in After Effects CS5 "After Effects .

  Hi all

  I'm trying to detect notches in V which a selected part / King. To do this, I use filtering.

  First of all, I developed a model of the notch. Can I use this template on some filtering of part/return on investment.

  I have two problems here:

  -Notch sizes are not always same. For example, as you can see on the image "Detect_V - Notch_01b.jpg", v-notches are smaller than the notches in v which the "Detect_V - Notch_02b.jpg".

  -Sometimes find model as v-notch corresponding slots (as you can see on the image "Detect_V - Notch_01b.jpg")

  Anyone has a suggestion, how can I find all the v-notches and just v-notches (not slits)?

  First of all, you can improve their angle tight with a Laplacian filter:

  

  It is easier to analyze then the contour.

  I have added a filter to close the outline and remove small particles and then watched the outside line with the outline / curvature analysis tool:

  Design of an object.  Use the Warp tool , place it on top of the object (your text)

  Navigate to the object-> envelope distort-> do with the top object , add a blur

  I'm all new to illustrator and may not have the vocabulary to ask this question well.  Please bear with me.  I want to remove the center of a shape from a bunch of lines

  Imagine that I have established a grid wavy using the Warp tool.  I want to place a circle on the top of the grid and then delete everything that is in the middle of the circle.  The result would be a grid with a hole of type Swiss cheese inside.  I need the parts circled the line actually be deleted (not just hidden) because I'll eventually use the model for laser cutting.

  I understand how to proceed when background objects are forms - such as a hole of Gruyère in another circle - using less before.  However, it doesn't seem to work if the background of the drawing is just a bunch of lines.

  Is there an easy way to do this?

  Take the magic wand and set it to stroke brain and tolerance 0%

  Remove. Then delete the rectangle.

  I am looking for a way to pay only for Lightroom. Does anyone know how it works?

  I got a license of Creative cloud for nearly a year. Somewhere this year, Photoshop has been upgraded and is no longer compatible with the drivers on my laptop. I tried the upgrade of drivers, which translates as the screen of the laptop lose 95% of the light, making it unusable. The only solution is the upgrade of my laptop, what is going to happen.

  Hi Marian, I think you are on the cheaper plan for example a single app plan is more expensive than the Plan of photography. You still get the benefit of the Mobile Web & LR, if necessary. In any case, Lightroom is not available as a single purchase for one month only application needed.

  You could buy the stand alone (not CC) version LR6 but we'd lose access to any features added. New features are only available for subscribers of creative cloud. LR6 users only get camera raw updates and bug fixes.
