  I can locate is no longer the installation disc for my my old Canon Pixma iP 2600 printer.  I am able to install it w / add it as a printer in the Control Panel, but the Office feature fails to read that the printer is connected via the usb cord.  I'm not find no possibility to install it as a usb printer.  Please help as soon as possible.  I can't afford to replace the printer and I have several documents that I need to print today or early tomorrow, or there will be dire financial complications for me.  I NEVER had that problem w/Dell.  (the operating system is windows 7, which is exactly what I was running on my old dell model - I searched this forum and find a similar question, but that the consultant has been able to find a usb option in the drop down menu to the port facility.)  that option is absent in my attempts).

  Interestingly, I discovered (after wasting a ton of time online and on the phone w/less useful HP tech) that the problem was in the two faulty usb ports on the front of this new processor.  at this point, I plan to return to the model of costco and return to dell.  Thank you for your help.

  When printing from the PIXMA iP4200 does print correctly (as with a green tint), the first step would be to ensure that the correct inks are installed and are in the correct order.  The correct order is:

  CLI - 8Bk black
  PGI - 5Bk black
  CLI - 8Y yellow
  CLI - 8 M Magenta
  CLI - 8 c Cyan

  Canon either supports their device under a given operating system, or they don't.  Microsoft is not responsible for providing drivers for hardware does not manufacturer or support in any other way.  Who has always (will probably always) fell to those who have actually made, sell and take charge the device in all directions.

  Click on the image of the time Capsule

  Hi - I have El Capitan and tries to install my wireless Canon MX850 printer. I installed the latest drivers for Canon (11.7.1.0) and put in place the printer in printers and drivers. However, when it comes to test the printer, it does not. The printer is connected via wifi. Router is fine, other computers can access. I tried the fixed IP address - but that doesn't work either.   I played with it for about an hour, trying several things, on and outside, opening the lid with the inks and pressing the power button, etc... saw a message about a reset, which doesn't seem to work at first, but I tried once more to the power of the printer and everything seemed fine.  He showed several inks were out, so I replaced them with new cartridges and now no impression at all!

  I tried to send a word document that is black and white, went by his movements, seemed it was printing, but the page is empty.  I tried to send a picture of the PC - again took time to print the photo, but the page is empty.  I tried to use an SD card to print a photo and even once - took time and sounded like it was printing, but the page is empty.

  I tried to clean the heads, print an alignment page, etc..., all the basic things to correct the wrong impression but still nothing but perfect blank pages - no ink at all.
