Way to the commands per second using PowerCLI

You can use powerCLI for average orders per second of a virtual machine on a historical period in the same way, as you can with cpu.usagemhz.average?

Just to clarify:

Does

datastore.numberreadaveraged.Average

give me information on the entire data store connected to the virtual machine? Or is information specific to just the VM I comment on?

(In this case, I'm eager to get all the IOPs for all all of the virtual disks connected to a specific virtual machine)

It gives you the IOPS / s specific to entire virtual machine and not the data store.

Also - I'm the zeros for my data when I launch the present.  I see in vSphere client commands per second only to the data in real time, not for the last day, week or year.  Is it because of my level settings statistics?

Yes, vCenter 5.0 and place unfortunately don't collect statistics of e/s long term on a per-VM level more.

However, you can still add these values to return to lower levels of statistics as described in this article:

    Hello world

I'm changing the type of network adapters in a specific VM through the CLI interface, running on VMware ESXi 4.1

Connection to the ESX host and find the desired virtual machine are pretty easy. The beginning of the troubles, when I enter the command get - vm < virtual computer name > | Get-networkadapter | together-networkadapter-type vmxnet3

    So, I get:

  • Extract the host name vCenter using PowerCLI

    Hi all

I was asked to create a script that displays the host ESX, the version of the product name (I use "Get-View $_USER.USER"). «» ""Config.Product.FullName"), and what I thought, that's easy, vCenter host name." I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how to extract the host name real vCenter. I can get the vDC and the cluster, but I can't find what combination of cmdlets or vim commands can extract this nugget. Is something that is accessible via a standard cmdlet such as get-viproperty, get-view or another?

  • State of the device set OFF using powercli

    #$e = get-esxcli - vmhost esx1

    #$lun = get-content lun.txt

Any idea on the equivalent of esxcli storage set of basic device - state = off naa.xx d

    #$lun | {$e.storage.core.device.set ($sur, ($_), $off)}

Assuming that this file un.txt contains the IDS devices ("naa.xxxxxx"), you can do

    $esxcli.storage.core.device.set($_,$null,$false,'on')

When $_ is the device ID, the 2nd parameter is a new name for the device if necessary (if not specify $null).

The 3rd parameter is a Boolean value that indicates whether the device should be = not persistent or not.

The last parameter sets the status can be 'on' or 'off '.

    Hello

I have attached the vi I have for saving a section of video from a puncture of a USB camera. However, once I get the avi file it broke the links and will not play. I also try to manually set the frames per second with the entry that I have but I don't know where I went wrong because the reading is not correct.

I have attached the vi that I use.

    Thanks for any input.

    Hello goldfronts,

It seems that you are creating two AVI files. Break two AVI files?
If you use the example, the output AVI file break? This is the step to the first cause.

  • Increase in the number of samples taken per second

So I am a beginner in LabVIEW, and I work in a program to help me with some research. I enclose my VI below, and I take the data at a rate of almost 2000 samples per second (using the express deadline fixed VI a.001s). However, I need to be taken of data to approximately 10,000 samples per second, but if I try simply decrease the amount of delay (up to a.0001s), does not increase the sampling rate. Someone at - it thoughts/solutions to tide me over? Thank you.

Use the example Finder and search for the "Input.vi - continuous voltage.  It is a good example of an acquisition of base.  There is also a built-in DAQmx called Logging configuration.  When activated, DAQmx will automagically be journal of task data to a TDMS file for you.  Use the continuous acquisition and set the frequency of sampling to the desired frequency.  You will need to read multiple samples to stand.  But this example is a great place to start.

  • How can I configure the standard user profile in the impossibility to use the command prompt on windows7

My teen age son knows how to get into the command prompt and use the computer as an administrator temporarily... How can I stop this?  It has a standard user account.

On the flavors below, you must edit the registry directly by creating the value of HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\System! DisableCMD.

How to change the registry? I need more specific measures.

    Thank you
    Kathy
This is not a trivial process for non trained. Also note that open a command prompt does NOT give your son of additional privileges unless he knows the password for an administrator account.
Please note that if you skip any step then you may have a machine that won't start longer.
    1. Burn a CD to repair Windows via Control Panel / backup and restore.
    2. Test this boot the machine with her CD in the repair of Windows.
    3. Label this CD as "Repair Windows CD", then store it in a safe place.
    4. Start normally. Logging in as an administrator account.
    5. Create a Restore Point.
    6. Log in under your son's account.
    7. Click on the Globe to start, and then type regedit.exe and press ENTER. Enter the credentials of the administrator in case of dispute.
    8. HKey_Current_User\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows-access
    9. If there is no windows system key, create it:
Click Edit / new / key, type system, and then press ENTER.
    10. Click on the key to the system.
    11. Click Edit / new / DWord, and then type the letters DisableCMD and press Enter.
    12. Double-click the DisableCMD value, and then type 1 in the data field and press ENTER.
    13. Try to open a command prompt. You should get a message of "deny".
  • Download the OPA cloud policy template by using the command line

    Hi OPA developers,.

Our project aims to automate the migration process models of political Test for Production environment. We use the OPA Cloud Aug2015, but if I understand correctly, we can enter the private cloud installation command-line tool and also run in the cloud.

So, I downloaded the private cloud, edited the admin.cmd file to indicate download_project and provided the parameters and ran the command line.  However he just kept running and running for more than 15 minutes already, so I closed thinking that there is something wrong.  The zip file I download is only 800ko in size.

Has anyone been able to use this feature from command line?  Please tell us what I have missed.  (Is there a specific place to save the file admin.cmd to ? Is it supposed to take a long time to complete)

It comes to the command line, I used:

    " admin.cmd download_deployment - huburl = ' https://ProjectName.custhelp.com/OPA-hub "- hubuser ="HubLogin"- hubpass ="HubPassword"- deployname ="ProjectName"- version = 20 - deployzip="/projects/ProjectName.zip '

    Thank you very much!!

You must run the admin.cmd from its original location in the private cloud installation bin directory, but you should immediately get an error if you run it from elsewhere.

I'm not sure what you mean when you say you "edited the admin.cmd file to indicate download_project and provided the parameters" you should not have to modify this file, just run it with the required parameters as you describe.

Can you watch the OPA hub management console and see if there is something in the log messages can indicate what could go wrong.
