• Premiere Pro 2014.2 CC is not stable on my system

  I have problems with Premiere Pro CC 2014.2 that make it almost unusable on my system. All other software, including EI, hearing, prelude, Photoshop etc works well.

  The symptoms, which are not specific to a project - but they seem to all effect are also: -

  (1) intermittently, I lose the ability to play clips or timeline. I can drag the playback cursor, but nothing plays, nor the spectator or program monitor change or update. I can't use the space bar to play, nor can I click the play with the mouse.  Each action requires a reboot.

  (2) out of the application, the Premiere Pro will not completely closed. It goes into a sort of limbo. The only way to stop the application must use the command force quit in the Apple Menu. Once the application has been forced to leave, it will not restart until the computer has been restarted. It will just bounce up and down in the dock and launch never completely.  The only way to start again is completely restart the computer. If the application has been left, when I shut down the computer, I get the spinning wheel for a very long time during the closing process, but the computer turns off completely on its own. After I restarted, Premiere Pro starts quickly.

  OK my problems disappeared when I transmit mercury not enabled. I use an AJA IO Express (in the office) or a T - Tap AJA (out of office) to connect to a monitor.

  Once I had to pass mercury unactivated, first works catchy and smooth, no crashes or restart problems.

  I see 22/01/15 AJA has released today a new driver package for e, s, KONA, TTap devices with a few CC Adobe fixes. I downloaded and installed, and so far (although it has only a few hours), everything seems very stable.

  I'll post if trouble resumes.

• Satellite Pro P200: network connectivity is not stable

  I have a Satellite Pro P200, which was downgraded from Vista to XP Pro SP3 corporate.

  I use a sensitive enough network application that will crash when network connectivity is lost.
  This application has been blocking a lot since I downgraded to XP, so I tried to run a continuous ping that gave rise to many messages Request Timed Out (the maximum number of attempts where I actually had ongoing responses was about 30 but is usually much less).

  I use the driver downloaded from the Support from Toshiba site (Realtek RTL8139/810 x Family Fast Ethernet Nic - v5.664.205.2007), wireless network works fine, tried to connect to the network using a cable and a port different without change, and using a different laptop with the same cable and port works fine.

  The yellow exclamation mark in Device Manager is a memory PCI controller which I believe is for the Intel Turbo Memory, because it is not compatible with Windows XP.

  Any ideas what could be the cause.
  I tried reinstalling the driver several times without success, it is likely to be software partners or could it be a hardware failure?

  I think it's related software and troublemaker is SP3. Test it with SP2 only and it will work perfectly. Friend of mine noticed permanent data LAN transfer interruptions after installing SP3. Remove everything works well again.

So I downloaded the Ralink 802.11 b/g/n Wireless LAN Adapter Driver here and when I try to install it, the installation program opens a second and then closes down, at first I thought that maybe the installation is in the background, but it wasn't the case. Then I tried to download Mediatek 802.11b/g/n (1 x 1) and drivers Bluetooth 4.0 Combo of the net here, they have installed and appear in programs and features, but the WiFi adapter is not on the menu of adapters. not it does appear in Device Manager. No driver disk is also don't come with the purchase.

  Not sure if your video was recorded with a variable rate without more information.

  2. what camera or device recorded video? If a mobile phone, iPad, iPhone, or one of these screen capture programs, it is most likely that you have a variable rate for your video. Premiere Elements has problem with this type of video. The symptoms of this beach of situation of desynchronization of audio to not be able to import the video at all.
