WCS Web integration - Auth-AD

Hello, we are trying to create a Web Auth SSID using Active Directory to authenticate users. Someone has it as the fields on the map of WCS in AD?

Gregg

Hello

I did what you want before.

The indices of the configuration is the following:

1. in ACS, make sure 'Group - external database Mapping' is well done. Make sure you of what an ad group is mapped to the local group of ACS

2 to GBA, change local group setting, make sure that "IETF Radius attribute - 006 Service Type" is "framed".

3. in WLC or WCS, change "Setting WLAN", RADIUS adjustment and RADIUS point break at the ACS.

BTW, the WLC for WebAuth authentication request does SSID information.

  • How do reset us the Web integrated (built-in web server) server on our Pro Wireless 8500 A909g printers?

We try to remotely administer printers HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 A909g Wireless

    M/N: CB023A

They print and scan very well, and we can access the home page of each printer EWS.

We have been asked to make a few changes and cannot go beyond the EWS username and password authentication request.

In my view, it has been defined by a previous administrator, but him documented names of user and password we have on file do not work.

How do reset us the EWS password?

I have the default value is EMPTY, but if not, that would be the default password after reset?

    SOLVED!

Then I got a job to another printer HP OfficeJet 8 X 00-

All you have to do is RESTORE network defaults on the front control panel - this will reset the default value:

    (1) requirement for access password turned OFF

    (2) default user name is ADMIN

    (3) password is EMPTY

then, on command before Panel set your IP network information, and you will then be able to access the built-in Web server and see all / manage all settings, including resetting the password to the web server integrated EWS.

WITH THE SUPPORT OF HP NO.

  • Printer Officejet Pro 8620: How to reset the Server Web integrated (built-in web server) on the printer Officejet Pro 8620 Pro?

The password has been reset, but we cannot go beyond the server request the user name and password to change the other settings.  We have not had any problems to set up the printer to the computer and we are able to print and use the printer.  We just need to find EWS to change other settings.  We use Windows 7.

    Hi there @Mariko23

    Welcome to the forums,

I understand the SAP you request a user name and password and you're looking to reset the built-in Web server to access accordingly.

I suggest try to restore default network settings on the device, which should help you.

On the printer, select Setup, network configuration, network by default, Yes, restart the printer.

Good luck, I hope this helps

  • ISE and WLC for CWA (Web Central Auth)

    Hi all

As we know that WLC (i.e. 5508) is intolerant of MAB (MAC Auth Bypass) and it supports CWA in 7.2.x.

CWA is the result of successful MAB. So, how CWA to work for the wireless? So that means WLC support MAB?

    Hello

The term in the wireless world is mac filtering. When mac filtering is fired, you will return the CWA portal in the access-accept.

Don't forget to set your condition in the authentication policy to continue if the user is not found, while the device can hit the CWA default rule.

  • What is the license model for web integration of Acrobat?

Hi, if I develop a web client / web application server whith Acrobat to perform certain tasks on pdf from a web browser, since Acrobat works with JavaScrit, IE client side, is that Acrobat must be executed (and bought) on each client computer by using the web browser to play with my apps?

    Thank you

Acrobat cannot be run on a server (it's both a violation of the EULA and a technical problem), so it can operate only on the desktop.  This means that Yes, he would need to be purchased and installed on each client computer.

    Hello

If it's for guest access the SSL123 should be fine. You can also get the appropriate certificates from RapidSSL (www.rapidssl.com), and they are less expensive than Thawte.

  • Cannot connect to the integrated Web server

I have a HP p1606dn printer I need to change the IP address. I can't connect to SAP by using the IP address of the printer configuration page. I also tried on a work of the same model printer and cannot connect. I can't understand what I'm doing wrong. I type in xxx.xxx.xx.xxx in the address bar in Internet Explorer which is supposed to be an approved browser. Thank you!

If the Web integrated printer server does not load when the IP address is entered, then means generally is not a direct path between the printer and the computer is trying to access.

You mentioned that you must change the IP address.  What is the reason for this change?  The network IP addressing scheme changed so that the PC and the printer may appear as on different networks?

I don't know if it will work in your particular situation, because it depends on whether or not it has access to an Ethernet connection.  You could try the connected printer to an Ethernet port which would be on the same network as the PC and then access it by IP addressed assigned to the Ethernet address.  Once the integrated Web server load, you can manually set the wifi information and then return to the wifi.

Check the Internet connection and try again. Or contact your system administrator or the person who set up the printer.

Apart from not using web services or filing a compliant under the terms of the UCC for the guarantee of marketability, what to do next?

    Hello RealGomer,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

If I understand your message your Officejet 8100 is more connected to the Web Services and you have tried to assign a manual IP address of the printer.

In the link you provided I have not seen any information about which server DNS has been used, because it is usually the cause / root of the problem, try to enter the DNS name of 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4. To enter, you must be in the Web integrated to the network printer server.

If this DNS information do not resolve, I'll get another for the DNS installation program.

    See you soon,.

  • Cannot transfer the file to WCS 5508 - Code file transfer failed - unknown error - refer to log

    Hi all

This is my first time here posting. I have some difficulty to transfer files to my WCS 5508. My intention is to upgrade to

6.0.196.0 to 7.4. We recently bought 2602i access points and we need to update our controller software so that the controller save the new access points. I also improved the interface controller 7.0.240 WCS software.

However, I have not been successful transfer the file to the controller for the upgrade.

I have tried everything I know:

    * transfer the file of different programs including tftp32d and solarwinds TFTP server

    * transfer the file of different applications such as FileZilla and FTPD FTP server

    * transfer the WCS web interface file

    * running a direct connection to the WLC with a static IP address on the interface

    * verified that there are no interfering firewalls with transfer

    * adjusted times waiting and pads as a result

I get no error message on my software FTP or TFTP, which would indicate something wrong with the applications. I think it is a bug with the controller.

The transfer reachers about 97MB before it fails.

Here are the error messages I get when I run "transfer of debug output all" from the CLI of the controller

Any suggestions? Am I missing something?

Well... Since you're WCS, v7.0.x is the only code that are supported for the WCS.  Look here.

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/TD/docs/wireless/compatibility/matrix/compatibility-matrix.html#18972

So the trick to this is downgrade to v7.0.x and add the WLC WCS and then go to v7.2.121.0.  As long as the WLC is added and is attached to the WCS, you can upgrade.  If the WLC is not attached, you will never get to add with a more recent version of the code.

    Thank you

  • Posture EHT IE Web redirect Win7/8 with Anyconnect already installed?

Having a problem where I have Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 clients connecting to the wireless network, they already have Anyconnect 4.3.x installed with posture ISE seeking AV installed.  When the AuthZ for EAP chaining rule see posture status equal to a stranger when a user logs into it immediately turn on IE and tries to do a web-based ISE posture check.  But if you wait a little, Anyconnect runs and performs a check of posture ISE itself and ends.  And then of course a certificate of authenticity occurs and the status changes to access compliance/permits.  But this IE window for ISE posture is still sitting there.

Its crazy my simulated production group.  Its as web redirection does not know that Anyconnect is already on the box.

I talked to TAC, they suggested, it is a problem with IE and there is no config ISE to correct this problem.  Does anyone know the key "reg" to disable this behavior?

Also, my concern is that once this behavior is disabled in Windows 7 and Windows 8.1, users then when connecting to networks managed by ISE comments won't redirect web authentication.  However my Windows 10 users don't see never the ISE web posture auth redirect, but they do not... as expected... a redirect comments network web auth.

Outside by his summer suggested that the "reg" windows 7/8.1 key 'HotspotAuthentication' is the problem.  Set this to zero does not solve the problem.  Active Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\HotspotAuthentication = 0

    source of confusion.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    EI

As a side note I would be thrilled to be in the image of all the files in the machine and not necessary to use the provisioning client to trigger the posture of the ISE, feature request.

    If remember correctly,

If your network changes, windows did a test NCSI (network connectivity status indicator),

with DNS and one http request. This forced test your browser to bring up a window.

I think you have three choices:

-If the machines are managed by you

1, you cah turn off this feature. In this case, you lost the internet detection windows feature

2, you can change the address shown by default http://www.msftncsi.com (multiple ip) to a simple outside IP, and after that you have an entry to the ACL redirect to allow traffic to this IP without redirection

If the machines are out of your control

3, you can build a complex ACL redirect, witch will allow traffic to the ip address that is resolved by www.msftncsi.com. I have a large collection of a (attached) gethostbyname crontabbed, he entered 246, but you can reduce it to the largest subnet 4-5. I think that it is not a big risk to allow this traffic when the redirection is active.

  • Run a workflow form again vSphere Web client?

It seems not possible to run a workflow of web to vSphere client.  Am I missing something?  We really want to start using the web client vSphere integration but the lack of this feature makes it really difficult.  Are taken in charge of canceling a workflow running and for answering a question, but not to run again.

Yes, "rerun" is not taken in charge, like the other features available in vRO Interface Java client.

These 2 customers are 2 completely different code bases/Technology batteries, and it is difficult to keep in Sync feature-wise. Supporting the use of vRA case is one of the main goals for vRO under vRA become internal consumption of vRO. vSphere client Web integration is not a major use case for HRV and thus maintaining at the same level as the vRO Java client is not on the top of the list of priority tasks.
