  I got my new laptop for Christmas and a few days ago, HP support assistant told me that there was a Version "Intel high definition (HD) Graphics Driver Update": 10.18.15.4281Ep3. I downloaded the updated, but after that 4 attempts trying to install via HP support assistant I kept getting the same message "installation failed." Then, I went to my downloads through Explorer of files and found the downloaded file. When I click on the file it takes me to the Setup Wizard and I can start the installation, but about 2/3 of the way if the installation I get the same message "the process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process" and then the installation completes without completing. I'm not sure how to find out which process is using the file or how to do the complete installation so I would really appreciate your help.

  Follow the steps below to uninstall the driver:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Type devmgmt.msc
  3. Press Ok
  4. Right-click on the graphics card and select Uninstall
  5. Restart the computer

  After the computer restarts, run the Windows Update and the last update will be installed.

  Thank you Daniel for answering my message. While the NVIDIA GEFORCE driver is an option, my driver is INTEL (R). I have since solved the problem by installing the BIOS update. Then, I was able to successfully install the graphics driver updated. Thanks again.

  I think that the Caesar IV is a game that requires a graphics card with better performance than the Intel 855GM graphics card with 16 MB to 64 MB shared memory.

  The game asks for the graphics card with graphical support entirely in 3D and in my opinion the laptop card is not able to support these graphics to full power.

  I got my brand new HP ENVY 15-j101ex for almost a month now and it works very well. I tried to play any of my games on it and after 20 minutes the laptop crashed. After searching the cause, it turns out that my Nividia Geforce and Intel Graphics driver have been exceeded. I updated the driver from Nividia and everything went well. However, whenever I have download the new driver for the Intel graphics card it is not updated and simply say that my computer does not meet the minimum requirements. I checked the name of the driver and I even used the center of the action on my computer that I warned that I needed to update my driver and he even gave me a link to download from, but the same error occurred.

  Now, I can't play ang game without my computer crashing down. Everyone has faced this problem and does anyone have a solution?

  If you want to install the drivers and got downloads provided by HP, and then use the HP Support Assistant.

  Do not rely on the center of maintenance Windows for driver downloads recommendations.

  Remove the Vista updates; two ways to do this:

  1. a System Restore to before the updates:

  Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > System Restore > restore time/choose your own date > next

  If you use Norton, disable it before using the system restore.

  You will need to look at the offers 3rd party.  The site on the following link has helped a lot of people facing the same question as you, but I highly recommend reading the guide - especially to understand why Driver Signature Enforcement "must be diasbles to load these custom drivers.

  From personal experience (Intel 3000 / ATI 7690 M XT under Windows 8), they generally work very well, but you can find a special version fits your laptop, better than the other.

• VPCF21Z1E Graphics Driver Update

  I received my laptop just VPCF21Z1E a couple of days, and this thing is driving me crazy.
  I'm trying to update my graphics driver, I went to the nvidia site, selected my graphics card (tried auto and manual detection) and downloaded the latest driver (tried with the latest driver beta too.) Installation went well, everything is good, as expected.
  But then after the update (last stable version or beta) when I want to open the movie in 3D, which works first (the Blu - ray 3D movie provided with the laptop) suddenly stops working. There are sounds, but no graphics.
  Then, I realized that virtually all 3D (other photos then 3D) has stopped working.
  Then I used the recovery partition to go back, and it was working fine and then tried again and no boom, no chance. I tried the older drivers and still no luck.

  Is latest updates from nVidia not supported by computers laptops vaio? Because I couldn't help but realize that updates to the graphics driver are not listed in the support page of the laptop. Certainly, I hope that this is not the case, because it is unfortunate that I won't be able to use the 3D features such as youtube in 3D or 3D Skyrim...

  I m using Intel drivers too and I n t have a problem to install.

  If you have tried to install the driver through setup.exe, you should try manual in Device Manager. Right-click on the graphic card > driver update. Use the Advanced installation step and choose the driver directory yourself.

  Before installing the driver, you must remove the older version first, and then restart the laptop.

  New to this forum, so don't know if this has been covered.

  Have installed Photoshop elements 11 and Prime Minister 11.
  Elements of program works ok but cannot get the items first to open the new project. Adobe advises trying to update the drivers I have tried without success.

  When running driver update on the laptop, it says last driver installed. 8.15.10.2189
  On the site of Toshiba update, it shows the later version 8.15.10.2353.
  Have downloaded this, I then unzipped it and it says will when you have completed the automatic installation to start but nothing happens.
