  A number of things.

  First of all, you have ClearType disabled at the system level? Firefox is not its own version of ClearType integrated, unlike IE which applies ClearType even if you turn it off at the level of the system.

  Second, Firefox sometimes displays fonts ugly if it is incompatible with your graphics card driver. The solution is to disable the use of Firefox hardware acceleration. Here's how:

  the button Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) > Options > advanced

  In the mini ' General' tab, uncheck the box for "use hardware acceleration when available.

  I have a text field that displays an external URL. Is it possible to make this clickable area and open this web page as a separate pop-up not close the page you on that? An application such as MS Access will do that by setting the display in the form of URLS, but there is no option for this under the option of data types.

• FF4 - when bookmarking a Web page, "Select" shows only 5 of my bookmark folders

  I recently went from FF3.6 to FF4.  To bookmark a webpage, I rt clik/bookmark this page/Choose/.   Only 5 (randomly selected?) folders appear.  There is no scroll down facility to reveal the full list of folders as there was on FF3, so I have to save the page to Bookmarks Menu, find it in Recently Bookmarked, and drag it into the correct folder.

• Why Web pages show nbsp; all the pages after the last update?

  My operating system is Windows XP. After the last update for Firefox 29,0, web pages started showing nbsp; through, including my home page. I've never seen until the last update. Internet research indicate that this indicates a space when the web page is developed, but is not intended to be displayed. Why am I now see this on most of the web pages I visit? Is there a change or fix that I can install to ban this appears?

  The short answer is... To make an external stylesheet and link it, you put your CSS in a separate text file. Generally, a CSS file has extension .css.

• Firefox 8 is slow to display the web page in the application. If I hilite the address in the URL address line it usually downloads the info immediately. I find that it becomes slowers over time.

  I loved Firefox, but 8.0 is an abomination when loading. Half the time, a blank screen appears. Pages on amazon and newegg among others to stall out.
