• Film stopping to PDF or Web popup

  I did experiments with launching windows Web and PDF from Captivate using the buttons with "run javascript. Popups appear to work, but when I click the button, the film continues to play and slide fades. What I want is for the film to remain static until the user clicks "continue". How is that possible?

  Welcome to our community, Tom

  Change the properties of the button or click box. Look to the right where you typed the file name or URL. You should see a button with an arrow pointing downwards. Click on the button and choose new. I'm guessing that part has already been done, because you declare continues merrily on film and you don't want it.

  Click that same key a second time and you should notice there is an option, you must click to turn off. It's called "continue playing project." Clear the check box and the movie should finally stay put until your username is ready.

  I argued twice now with Verizon on the phone and they refuse to withdraw the Bill.

  well want to can someone help me turn off the features of data or at least disable mobile web to prevent accidentally clicking on it?

  You can disable the use of data on your phone and avoid charges by logging into your account on the website of Verizon Wireless. You can control what services you be charged. Just keep in mind that this will affect anything that uses data, such as downloading ring tones and games.

• Unable to connect to the HP printable applications. 7520e Photosmart printer.

  I can't access or manage printable apps on my HP 7520e printer. I get the message error "unable to connect to the server, check the internet connection. My printer is connected to my WIFI with 100% signal. It has a static IP address. I can print with HP ePrint, while on the same network as well as remotely. I have remote access 100% to all the functions of the printer. I checked the updates using the update function printers and I have the latest firmware and updates on my printer. I also put in the manual entries in DNS Server 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and I followed all threads to try to solve this problem. I also have errors on the connected HP WEB site preventing access of server certificate. This product using a Windows PC or Safari. It is a different matter, but I was trying to print the pintable apps that are on my printer from the HP WEB site connected.

  Fixed a problem!

  I decided to reset my printer to the factory settings and perform another installation. It worked! All my printable apps work!   Assuming that this problem occurs when in Internet Explorer, it happens on all websites of a few?
  As John said, you should be able to right click on the image and choose Save as. If you are unable to do it on some Web pages, it is likely that the web developer prevent you. It comes to the design of the web developer.

• Popup random who said 'finding on the web... '. "won't go away?

  I just got a new macbook air and thought I was downloading adobe flash, but think I accidentally downloaded a virus did because there is now a popup on my screen that won't disappear that says "search the Web". "I can't figure out how to remove or hide. Someone has seen this before and know how to fix?

  You may have installed ad-injecting malicious software ("adware").

  Do not use any type of product, "anti-virus" or "anti-malware" on a Mac. It is never necessary for her, and relying on it for protection makes you more vulnerable to attacks, not less.

  Save all data first.

  If you are not already running the latest version of Mac OS X, update or upgrade in the App Store you risk adware remove automatically. If you are already using the latest version, please log off or restart the computer. Still, some types of malware will be deleted, not all. There is no such thing as the automatic removal of all possible malware, either by OS X third party software. That's why you can't rely on software to protect you.

  Step 1

  Please triple - click on the line below on this page to select it, and then copy the text to the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination:

  In the Finder, select

  Go ▹ go to the folder...

  from the menu bar and paste it into the box that opens by pressing command + v press return. Open a folder named "LaunchAgents", or you will get a notice stating that the file cannot be found. If the file is not found, proceed to the next step.

  If the folder opens, press the combination of keys command-2 to select the display of the list, if it is not already selected. Please don't skip this step.

  There should be a column in the update Finder window. Click this title two times to sort the content by date with the most recent at the top. If necessary, enlarge the window so that all the content show.

  Follow the instructions in this support article under the heading "take a screenshot of a window." An image file with a name starting in 'Screenshot' should be saved to the desktop. Open the capture screen and make sure it is readable. If this isn't the case, capture a small part of the screen indicating that what needs to be shown.

  Start a reply to this message. Drag the image file in the editing window downloading. Alternatively, you can include text in the response.

  Leave the case open for now.

  Step 2

  Do as in step 1 with this line:

  /Library/LaunchAgents

  The record which can open up will have the same name but is not the same as in step 1. In this step, the folder does not exist.

  Step 3

  Repeat with this line:

  /Library/LaunchDaemons

  This time the file will be called "LaunchDaemons."

  Step 4

  Open Safari preferences window and select the tab 'Extensions'. If the extensions are listed, post a screenshot. If there are no extensions, or if you cannot launch Safari, skip this step.

  Step 5

  If you use Firefox or Chrome browser, open the list of extensions and do as in step 4.

• Why? on EACH web search I get a message saying "Firefox prevented this website." These are sites of trust for the most part

  I rebooted the free version of the Firefox browser, about two months ago. Since then, whenever I navigate, with few exceptions, Firefox displays a message bar at the top of the screen saying "Firefox prevented this site" with the message, there is a checkbox asking ' ALLOW? When I check ALLOW it most of the time, I get a web page, BUT on some occasions, Firefox keeps just block the page.
  Sites and pages that I refer here are for the most part, places of TRUST.
  This happened since I rebooted. It was NOT a problem before that.
  It is VERY annoying and I have since passed to Google Chrome.
  If you can offer any reasoning or explain why this is happening, I will be grateful.

  Hello, this looks like a problem with your security/firewall software blocking the new versions of firefox. If please delete all the rules of the program for firefox to your firewall and let it detect the new version of the browser again.

  Difficulty of problems connecting to websites after Firefox update
