  Currently I have a subscription of CC, but need to change a flash application created using Flash CS4 and action Script 2.0. I have a serial number for CS4 Web Standard, I bought in 2008, but that you do not have the software.

  I found a page with the download links of CS4 so I downloaded Flash CS4, but my serial number is not valid for this product. So I went back to this page, but do not see a download link for a product called "Web Standard" only "Web Premium".

  Years ago I bought Adobe Creative Suite 4 Web Standard.  I recently had to replace my hard drive and I need to download again, but it seems not to be this option.  I don't mean to the right place, or is Adobe not allowing me to use the product that I purchased?

• Reinstall CS3 Web Standard after the hard disk crash. Serial number, but check the upgrade is a problem - from Mac to PC, so does not match my product calling (Studio MX Mac)

  I'm reinstalling CS3 Web Standard after a hard disk crash. I have my serial number, but after entering, it does a check of upgrade, and at the time wherever I upgraded I also did a single switch from Mac to PC - so my product calling (Studio MX Mac) has a serial number starting with "WSM600"... ", while the upgrade check won't accept - Studio MX Mac is not yet available as an option. This happened once before and I had to work with a representative by phone (I had to click in a hidden part of one of the activation screens to get a number, if I remember correctly), but apparently Adobe that does more. And the page of "www.adobe.com/go/activiation" the phone message directs you to doesn't seem to have an option for this problem either.

  So, what is the replacement or her work around this problem now?

• Is CS3 Web Standard included in FrameMaker 10?

  I installed FrameMaker 10 on my PC, and apparently Adobe's CS3 Web Standard has been included in this installation.  Is Creative Suite 3 Web Standard a necessary component of FrameMaker or can I remove it from my PC and still use FrameMaker 10 without problem?

  FrameMaker 10 install with, well well, FrameMaker 10. There is a native ability to create PDFS, ExtendScript, probably a version of the Bridge product, but an obvious lack of other components (except, perhaps, Version Cue?).

  You can certainly remove the Web Standard installation, if you do not need the apps in the included screenshot!

• CS4 Web Standard - 2 CD installation

  I hope that I post on the correct discussion platform.

  I just got my CS4 Web Standard academic version.  (I have also 8 Studio on my PC for my old pages).

  I noticed that there are 2 CD in the box. The one with 'application' on it and the second with 'content '.

  I'm not a hero when it comes to install programs.   So I put the cd request first?   What is the content of Cd for?

  I had the same thing with Studio 8 and never needed to use the content CD.

  The DVD contains extras, such as fonts, example files, documentation, etc. The programs are on the Application DVD.

  I have received contradictory information Adobe and that after they sent my purchase and I just got it today in the mail.

  I have the 8 commercial Studio home.

  I bought the full version academic CS4 Web Standard. (it was cheaper, then upgrading commercial of the Studio 8 suite CS4 Web Standard and same phone Adobe customer suggested me to do).

  Before I bought it, I asked by phone with the service the customer

  -Improve opportunities: Adobe confirmed as follows:

  (commercial) upgrading from Studio 8 for CS4 Web standard Suite

  or

  ° full academic version of the suite CS4 Web Standard (as the school store has no upgrade)

  or

  (a) in the case where I don't want Dreamweaver (one is not the fires of artifice and Flash) then I need to buy a full version of the stand-alone CS4 Dreamweaver

  -the possibility to always be able to use both versions (old and new)

  Telephone support Adobe confirmed also that Studio 8 versions and the Suite CS4 Web standard can be installed on the same desktop and I could keep on using Studio 8 so.

  In any case the Adobe phone customer service advised me to purchase the full Version of Acadamic of CS4 Web Standard as then I have the new version of all my programs from Studio 8 for a better price.  In addition they confirmed to me that later I could upgrade this academic version via the commercial shop if there must be a CS5 or so.

  Some of you on this forum even told me about the update of Studio 8

  As advised on this forum to check I launched the same question on 27/5 to the Adobe customer portal on the internet and received only today (15 days later) a response that is in contradiction with what the customer service Adobe told me on the phone.

  Now they say that an update of Studio 8 is not possible at all, and I can only use a single booth of Dreamweaver CS4 version.

  And that versions Studio 8 and Dreamweaver CS4 / CS4 Web Standard cannot be used on the same computer. I need to uninstall the old version.

  On the Adobe Web site, you can even click on a link to show you the commercial evolution options from Studio 8 and CS4 Web Standard Suite is one of them.

  Now the customer portal has totally misunderstood my question or telephone customer service me misinformed.

  But with this contradictory info and my shipment received, I'm full of doubts about the news from Adobe.

  Can someone help to put the light in this darkness?

  You said a lot here and I think I understand all that, so I'll try to help you as best I can.

  Regarding the passing of Macromedia 8 to CS4, you can upgrade if you have a 8 commercial license.  You cannot switch to Dreamweaver just because Adobe policy says that you can only pass a suite to a suite as well as a program or a program or suite.

  To answer the part about whether or not you can have both installed on the same computer, the answer is Yes.  But you cannot use both at the same time due to shared resources.

  If you have a problem dl'g, you don't follow all 7 steps.  the most common mistake is not meticulously follow the steps 1, 2, and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system, allowing you to download the correct version of the adobe.com site).

  I got a new pc 3 weeks; transferred * CS4, then the launch of Dw and Fw, there is a message (as shown below) box for example

  The only way to get the programs to work is to enter the serial number of the previous product. Did you register your original software with Macromedia? If so, you should be able to get your serial number by logging in to your Adobe account. If this isn't the case, you're out of luck.

• CS3 not Web Standard Activation no connection problem

  When I try to activate my CS3, if I try to activate via the Internet or by setting my internet connection settings, I have NO CONNECTION. I'm not sure that I use a proxy server, but the I get the settings do not work in all cases. The phone activation is no longer used - just get a recording saying that. My serial number is valid.  After today I have 7 days to use the software. I tried to uninstall the software off and put it back, but no improvement. Although he retains to count the days.
