How to make a hidden tab page?

Use the built-in function SET_TAB_PAGE_PROPERTY with the visible set to FALSE, you can set it to visible/invisible dynamically.
Your code should look something like this:

SET_TAB_PAGE_PROPERTY('tab_page_name', VISIBLE, PROPERTY_TRUE);

  • How can I limit the number of Web sites on the new tab page?

    Is there a setting where I can limit the number of thumbnails / Web sites that appear on the new tab page? When I opened a new tab - I don't want to see tons of sites I have visited - but also, I don't want to delete them all. For example - there is a setting where the new tab page displays the last ten sites I've visited - with all my pinned sites?

    There are two settings 'hidden' for this 'grid '.

    Browser.newtabpage.Columns

    and

    Browser.newtabpage.Rows

    Type of topic: config in the URL bar and press ENTER.

    So put . browser.newtabpage in the top search bar.

    Each of these preferences in the lower panel right-click and select Edit. Then change the value default of 3 for each of these preferences to what you prefer, for "pinned" both sites all browsing history you want to appear in the 'grid '.

  • Why are there only 4 pinned (instead of 8) on the tab page sites? -Firefox 39

    I've just updated to Firefox 39 and I already regret. For a long time, two rows of four sites (in miniature) (eight in total) were on my page "tab" (you know, when you tap on the "+ - open a new tab"?)

    I have updated and now four only appears on this page. I NEED all eight tiles. Two rows of four. Just as it was before. Is it possible and how can I fix?

    You can zoom the subject: newtab page to resize tiles and tiles most enter on the page.

    • View > Zoom > Zoom out; CTRL and -
      'Zoom text only' should not have a tick

    This will affect all elements of the page, text so get more smaller institutions.
    Make sure that a tab with the subject: newtab page is open when you change the zoom of the page.
    Toggle the pref browser.newtab.preload false on the topic: config page in case of problems with remembering the zoom on the page of the on: newtab page.

    You may want to hide the search bar and the margins at the top and bottom with the code in the userContent.css file to get more space for the tiles.
    See my post here:

    Add code to the userContent.css file.

Now when I tap on: newtab in the awesome bar I get a page called subject: topic... and I don't want that. How can I get my pinned sites on my new tab page?

    Open a new window or tab. In the address bar, type Subject: config.

    That's where Firefox considers the information he should run.
    At the top of the screen is a search bar. Enter browser.newtab.url

    If you want, right click and select Edit. You can change the setting

    Subject: vacuum (a blank page),

    or you can enter any web page or Subject: page you want.

    Just like the title says, I have problems of setting up my new tab page. Open your page normal HTML (double click on the file), then copy the address address bar (the path of your daughter), then in the address bar, type "subject: config", press ENTER, yes I'm cautioned (some look like this, sorry I don't have FX in English), in the search bar, type "browser.newtab.url" and the option that is displayed, click with the right button of the mouse and click on change... or double click on the option , change its value to a copy the address (address of your file you copied), click OK and test

    Sorry my bad English!

    I had set up my new tab page with an image I have uploaded. It worked fine for months, or even years.

    Today, I had a 'crash' that asked me to start Firefox in "safe" mode or "restore". I chose "restore."

    This will give you the file:// URL in the address bar and you can use a copy and paste this file is enabled in the new tab page.

    You can set the browser.newtab.url pref on the topic: config page and set the value of this pref on this URL for you the new tab page.

    You can open the topic: config page via the bar addresses as you open a web page.

    It's maddening that I can't fix something so simple.

    You see at least nine slots on the new tab page?

    None of them filled are already?

    This problem may be caused by an extension that is not working properly.

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do not click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.
  • Can I re - set tabs in the "New Tab Page"? I deleted all bookmarks in two of the nine "tabs". Can I re - define these?

    This new tab page allows to store the new bookmarks, right? But I was hoping to return to a bookmark that I jumped, so I pressed on remove again and again until the screen on two of the nine just went completely blank, and now I can't drag a bookmark for them. If I drag a bookmark to one of them, or anywhere else on the page, nothing is saved to the "new tab page", it opens just this bookmark. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I have the window "Show all bookmarks" open. I'm puzzled.

    Hello

    Please try this: open a bookmark and drag its icon site (on the left side of the address bar (address)), hold it on the newtab tab and when it opens, release it on a blank thumbnail.

    In your trigger, you do a SHOW_VIEW ("HDR_CANVAS_FIXED"); before selecting the: GLOBAL. Headers information. I don't know what is HDR_CANVAS_FIXED, but I wonder if it is what you ruin. What happens if you either comment out:

    DECLARE
      l_curr_rec     NUMBER;
    BEGIN
      l_curr_rec := :SYSTEM.CURSOR_RECORD;

      --Get the Top Default Tab Page for the Form
      --SHOW_VIEW ('HDR_CANVAS_FIXED'); /* <-------------------------------------------------------Comment it out */
      :global.headers := GET_CANVAS_PROPERTY ('TAB_CANVAS', topmost_tab_page);

      IF (:GLOBAL.HEADERS = 'AS_REC_IMAGE') THEN
        SHOW_VIEW ('AS_REC_IMAGE');
        .
        .
        .

    or if you have to move after the: GLOBAL. HEADERS:

    DECLARE
      l_curr_rec     NUMBER;
    BEGIN
      l_curr_rec := :SYSTEM.CURSOR_RECORD;

      --Get the Top Default Tab Page for the Form
      :global.headers := GET_CANVAS_PROPERTY ('TAB_CANVAS', topmost_tab_page);
      SHOW_VIEW ('HDR_CANVAS_FIXED'); /* <------------------------------------ Swap it with :global.headers */

      IF (:GLOBAL.HEADERS = 'AS_REC_IMAGE') THEN
        SHOW_VIEW ('AS_REC_IMAGE');
        SET_VIEW_PROPERTY ('AS_REC_IMAGE', VISIBLE, PROPERTY_TRUE);
        SET_TAB_PAGE_PROPERTY ('AS_REC_IMAGE', ENABLED, PROPERTY_TRUE);
        GO_BLOCK ('AS_REC');
      --Hide the other canvases except the Pricing Canvas
      ELSIF (:GLOBAL.HEADERS = 'TRIM_REC_IMAGE') THEN
        SHOW_VIEW ('TRIM_REC_IMAGE');
        .
        .
        .
