  Unfortunately, these can take a long time. I suggest that you let it run for at least 24 hours and then see where is the check-in process. So again, it doesn't show much progress later, let know us and we can provide you with possible options.

  When I tried to download the latest version of the driver it says that I have the latest version of the driver.

  What you can do is use provided by the windows system restore and backup option and return to the point of time at the beginning, before the update have been installed...

• Cannot install the drivers for the DVD drive on the Satellite X 200

  Can anyone, please, help me? I could not install the driver for the dvd drive. I have vista ultimate 32 bit now, do a clean installation of which was preinstalled in my X 200 series new lappy.

  Almost all of the drivers had been installed successfully, but for dvd player she always ends up saying "this application cannot be installed on this computer. The installer is now abandoned. »

  Can someone please help me, what could be the reason? And also if someone could provide a list of the software that was pre-installed in the lappy would be appreciated. Thank you

• Satellite A200 - need driver for CD/DVD drive

  Hey people.

  Recently installed WXP Pro on my laptop A200 PSAEC, so I'm now in dual boot XP and Vista on my laptop.

  Problem is that I have all the drivers doesn't work on XP and everything works perfectly, but when I tried to burn a DVD, Nero said the recorder cannot burn DVDs. In 'My Computer', the drive shows up as a DVD - RW drive, but when I insert a blank DVD, it says CD drive. The drive shows up as "TCSDcor" CD/DVGW TC - L6 #2D "" in Device Manager. I searched a driver, but it is impossible to find an exact match for this drive and there is no driver optical drive on this section of driver from the Toshiba site. The only thing I found is an executable file of the firmware upgrade, but it throws an error saying that it is the wrong drive.

  Anyone got any ideas?

  Hello

  You don't need a new driver for CD/DVD drive because it s a part of the operating system. So, you won't find one.

  I think you should try to remove the upper and lower filters in the registry. I did the same thing a few days ago, if I also had problems with my CD/DVD player and it worked for me! :)

  Try holding the ALT key during start up your Mac to the top. This will make all bootable discs appear on the screen, so tell me what options you see here. Maybe the Windows installation is damaged or you have removed OS X by mistake.

  How can I add a second drive for another main drive of laptop computers. I took the car on the same cell type that crashed by the motherboard. I put it in drive Bay 2. Problems with starting. I sometimes want to boot from disc 2. Is there a MBR somewhere? Are there jumpers to make it slave. Sometimes it will install the software on 2 without any question. Is there a way to make a slave?

  Important-copy all data on the second hard drive you want to save on the first hard drive.

  MBR of Windows with the hard drive. Use Windows Explorer to locate the second hard drive. Right-click on it and format it.  Once this done, all what one is a storage device and not bootable until the operating system is installed to it.

  The BIOS will only see the hard drive as a bootable as it will now be the only drive with a MBR boot sector.

  The days of placement of the jumpers to determine master or slave on the disks hard is long gone. SATA drives have no jumpers slave\master like the old school IDE and Eide did.
