Hello
You run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor to make sure that your system will work correctly on Windows 7?
And check with the Compatibility Center (for major appliances)?

that was the problem).

Webcam not working not not on Satellite C650 - 1 CG
Hello!
My laptop Satellite C650 - 1 CG, (PSC - 14F) purchased in Dubai UNITED Arab Emirates.
It has the system of operation-Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit).Lately, I realized that the webcam is not working. Not shown in Device Manager.
No record of "Toshiba" under "The Prorams" too.
So I installed the driver, looking at Toshiba Europe web-link & download from here.Installation is completed with OK & brought "Toshiba/Utilities/Web Camera Application" under "all programs".
However, not so much reflected in the Device Manager. Running 'Web Camera Application' has no use. Apparently, nothing happened in the performer. No error no Message too.Kindly help. Trust that it will not need re-installation of Windows operating system. Thanks in advance.
(PS: the store that sold the laptop I must have bought the naked device from Toshiba & must have installed its own Windows CE operating system. What I realized feeding the serial number of the label in the Toshiba web site.
The shop not did me not any kind of CD / DVD with the unit. Also, he has refused to hear my complaint about the problem of the web - cam - using the excuse for the delay in my complaint - 14 months unfortunately)
> (PS: the store that sold the laptop I must have bought the naked device from Toshiba & must have installed its own Windows CE operating system. What I realized feeding the serial number of the label in the Toshiba web site.
This seems to be the reason why the webcam software was not installed possibly other tools and utilities are missing too.

Webcam application start a webcam control bar should be visible on the screen while moving the cursor of the mouse on one of the following areas: on the left, upper, right area or down.
Check it out.But guess what? If you don t have a recovery disc, you can order it here:

Built in webcam not working not
I have a HP Pavilion dv6565us. It came with Vista Home Premium 32-bit, but I have upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium 32 - bit. And it has been working well. But recently my integrated webcam has stopped working. It worked fine before with Windows 7 and the last update, but after any changes to the OS or whatever it is he has stopped working. No matter what program I use either doesn't recognize the presence of the webcam or shown as an option for an input device but does not work.
I did all the solutions I found during the search of similar problems and none have worked. I did few things about updating and reinstalling the drivers, I have spent in my device manager and uninstalled and reinstalled all USB root hubs. I even updated the BIOS for my system.
The only time it appears to the top is when I go to devices and printers from the Start Menu. The strange thing is, he showed, missing from there and again highlight.
When it shows up, I go to properties and it says that the device works properly, is not. In the box where it says model number, it says unavailable.
In the details section, there is a whole list of properties. There are too many post in a thread. But if you need to know an any of them, I will post them.
Hello
If you updated the drivers and BIOS and the camera don't work there is probably a hardware
issue. Maybe a bad connection or the camera has gone wrong. Do check it out to a real computer

How can I fix my Dell Webcam Central to say "no supported webcam not connected"?
I'm not sure how it happened exactly, but one day, all of a sudden, my webcam does not work! I've never had this problem before considering that I took of many photos & videos on this subject. I have a Dell Vostro laptop and when I got it, the Dell Webcam Central was already installed and integrated with the PC and I've used it since then. But one day, when I tried to open the webcam, it wouldn't let me take pictures or record video. It's just a black screen and at the bottom it says "no supported webcam not connected."
I don't know what the problem is and I really need help!
Thank you! :)Check the Dell website to see if there are any software update of the devices on your computer.
In Device Manager, under any category you saw an ad for Dell webcam?
If this isn't the case, I suggest that contact Dell because the material has been incorporated into the laptop.I hope this helps.

I have Aproblematique with my webcam I try to take photos and videos with web cam Companion 3, but it says that its not connected so I hit connect and it says that it is already in use or just, it is not connected I don't know the origin or the solution to this prblem, but I tried to dys someone please help me thank you
Hi Gcountry,
1. were you able to use the webcam before?
2. when the problem started?
Step 1:
First connect the webcam to another USB port and check.
Step 2:
You can also download and install the latest drivers for the camera by visiting the manufacturer's Web site.
Check out the link:
How to manage devices in Windows XP
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/283658
Step 3:
Also, try to perform a clean boot and check if the problem occurs
See the link below:
Perform a clean boot to determine if background programs interfere with your game or program
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/331796/
If your problem is resolved after the clean boot, and then follow the steps mentioned in the article above to refine the exact source:
In addition, after you resolve the problem, see the section on how to restore your computer to a Normal startup mode.
Also check the camera in another Windows XP computer.
Hope this information is useful.

Hello, I have a G7-2051SA Pavilion on W7 64-bit and webcam does not work. I have the "Cyberlink Youcam" which, once the software is installed, I run, he "No webcam detected". Skype does not detect it either. I've updated the latest drivers and using tune has conducted an audit and update PC with all relevant software but I still get the error. I can't see a FN + option key or any which icon on one of the 'f' keys to allow.
Any ideas please?

Webcam not found - tried everything, please help!
I can't get my webcam to be detected in any program, I've tried so far. I have a laptop ASUS. It has an internal webcam. This webcam, used to work. He says its fine all in Manager devices etc. Just that when I go to use Skype or whatever it is he just does not detect it. Have you tried the pilot - says update latest driver is installed etc...
I thought that maybe my internal webcam is broken, so I bought a new external webcam, just a generic brand name. It does the same thing. Everything seems fine, he detected, it installed, it, she worked in my device manager, the driver is up to date etc... just says: "no webcam not detected" when I come to use it... I have tried everything that I can think and read other peoples troubleshooting questions etc, still cannot solve this problem...
Is it a secret "disable webcam" button a hand I could have pushed and forgotten or something? I'm full of ideas... Thanks for any help.
Hello Rhuben,
Thank you for your response.
I appreciate your time.
I suggest you to update BIOS and drivers from the chipset of this link and check.
