  Go to Device Manager, even once, mark SD card controller and remove it from the list of devices.
  Then restart the laptop and wait that Windows has recognized this new device.
  Then check if the SD card controller is enabled or disabled.

  I would say firstly uninstall the webcam from the Device Manager drivers you download and install the drivers for your webcam from the following link:

  I have a laptop series (F5400HR) ze1000 HP running Windows XP Edition sp2 family.

  It has 512 MB of RAM for the moment (two 256 MB cards).  My manual says I can go to 1 GB (with two 512 MB cards). Information about the hardware on my computer tells me that I can do the same thing.  But when I look at online, many Web sites that offer upgrades I can only go to 512 MB.  Please, can someone tell me who he is?

  (I have problems upgrading to modern versions of things like anti-virus and programs explore 8 literally frozen out loud (I'm on IE 7).)  The latest version of Avast I downloaded everything froze.  I think more RAM might I want to hang on to this computer a little longer...   Your laptop supports the connection of SATA 3.0 (SATA II) so the hybrid 500 GB should be fine. You can also use the other, but it will only work at speed SATA II (3Gbps) (such as a hard disk SATA II)...
