If the driver is installed, make sure that the webcam is set as default input device. You can do this in the audio settings of Windows.

  You must have installed a Windows 7 64-bit driver (if it exists)
  for this. Do you have? Otherwise, navigate to the web site of the camera

  I really wonder why the OS cannot recognize the webcam?  :|

  a 'solution' would be to download the latest driver for the webcam of the [Download Drivers Toshiba site | http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_drivers_bios.jsp] remove all driversoftware webcam and webcam in 'Device Manager '. Then reboot the machine and install the driver for the webcam.

  Reinstall the webcam driver should be easy enough. You only have to download the driver for the webcam on Toshiba driver download page:

  If you have downloaded the new version, you can delete the old version in Add/Remove Programs, restart the computer, and then install the new version.

  Regarding the SIMS3, you should check the system requirements for the game first. This is a fairly new game, and the Satellite A300 is not the best gaming laptop so I think that the laptop is not fast enough for this game.
