WebEx h323 dtmf relay

Hello

I am facing a problem with endpoint h323 calling for webex.

It connects to the right if has been previously logged by an organizer. When I try to connect as an organizer with the h.323 endpoint, it fails. The endpoint is autonomous, not registered in any guard.

I can hear the tones generated in the endpoint, but webex does not seem to receive.

So I would like to know what h323 dtmf relay mechanisms are supported in webex.

Anyone know where I can find this info?

Hello Ignacio,

If you are referencing a CMR-Cloud here, for H.323 DTMF CMR-Cloud room would support h245-signal only.

It would be more accurate to say that the problem has been bypassed by using a transcoding resource. The correct resolution here would be to open a ticket to trouble with the ITSP. I agree that the PROMPT message you show doesn't include advertising RFC2833 in the SDP offer. It is a problem that only the carrier can rectify.

    The CME version is 9.1

Version of the IOS is 15.3 (1) T (also tested in 15.2 - the same issue)

All ip phones have the last firware (9-2-2-0), also I have already spent some of them (9-2-1-0) - the problem persists.

    Hello

I think the best is to capture a trace of sniffer on the phone directly, we will be able to see if the phone itself sends the numbers.

You can also enable some debugs:

    Deb voice ccapi inout

    messages ccsip deb

    Media ccsip deb

That should be enough to isolate the problem

    Thank you very much

    Chris

    Hi Chris,

It seems that your CUBE config is correct. The CUCM sends a PROMPT to provide at the beginning now. This means that you have enabled the PSG on the SIP trunk. The codec sent in the INVITATION is G711ulaw. In order to change this, go to the SIP trunk and search "PSG preferred from Codec" and replace it by default of G711ulaw, G711alaw. If all goes well, which does the trick for you.

    HTH.

    Kind regards

    Stefano.

  • Help setting up Dial-Peer in the CME

    Hello experts,

I tried to set up my network voice for 2 days but no luck.

    Here is my scenario:

    CUCM

    CME

    IRIS PBX

    +++ Posted inside Config.

CME and PBX are PRI resources; I can see active layer 1 and Layer 2 multi_Frame_Established in 'display the ISDN State '.

SIP trunk of CUCM to established CMF.

Cannot communicate registered CUCM to analog phones in PBX Voip phones.

Several times analog voip calls work and then some changes in the PBX, which in fact shit once again. (Those that have been made by PBX technician)

    VoIP ext: 1003

    Analog position: 270

    !! for voip analog calls

    In CUCM:

Routing model: 9XXX--> to the trunk of the CME

    In the CME:

The destination model: 9... --> E1 card (with auto stripping)

!! for analog / voip calls

In PBX access code 4 and stripped when sending guys.

that the means to post analogue for reach 1003 user consist 41003 and 4 will be stripped.

    In the CME:

The destination model: 1... --> session target ipv4:

With this configuration in the 'debugging ccapi inout"see"transfer number is NULL"and

in the "show history of last calls 1" am see reason code "1 c" - invalid number.

After some research, this are my ideas but not tested:

    1. I have incoming dial Exchange files corresponds to the movement of e1 card:

    voice pots Dial-peer X

    incoming called-number. T

    (2) I have to configure dtmf-relay-notify sip and dtmf-relay rtp - nte to accept the numbers of telephone service.

    (3) need to create any DIDs for incoming calls to pbx?

Please help me on this point, how could I get from analog to voip calls and vice versa, which I think is fair? If this is not the case, what would be the alternatives? where we should use the dtmf-relay command. ?

    Thanks to all in advance.

OK, lets delete all of your peers-Dial and start from scratch.

For testing purposes, we will test with specific numbers.  We can get more general thereafter.  Try the following tips for incoming traffic.

    voice pots Dial-peer 10

    / / DESC # incoming Iris PBX #.

    incoming called-number.

    direct line to inside
    Forward-digits all the

Then lets try this for your Call Manager Dial-Peer

    Dial-peer voice voip 20

    =====================

Well, we can set up incoming and outgoing calls with no problems during this test phase, but we will succeed voice entering.

We don't have voices coming out of the voice gateway.

We checked with the ISP and we see the RTP of ISPS to Cisco 2911Voice gateway traffic, but we did not see packets RTP voice to the ISP gateway.

In fact, it was not all RTP packets arriving at the voice gateway on the internal network.

    Might be a routing problem?

Internal CUCM and phones require Ip routing SIP from the ISP server access? If I understand correctly the devices internal only need to know how to get to the voice gateway Cisco2911, so it can function as a Proxy traffic and route to the SIP server?

    Thank you

In addition to the comments of Chris,

    1. There is a routing problem: IP phones should see the route to the ISP, even if they are inside a NAT.

    2. If you want that:

-Just IP phones reach the 2911 and IP of 2911 present the call to the ISP.

    -the Loopback0 bring the H323

    - And the int GigabitEth 0/0 for the SIP

    then

Configure the 2911 as a CUBE in path mode

    Use the redirection ip2ip

    Configure dspfarm on the 2911

    3 also check this:

If you have not seen all the voice gateway to ISP RTP packets

    Then

-Check if the transport of the ISP session is TCP or UDP.

    -Set up a GUY on the 2911 to check the communication between the {2911 and ISP} and {2911 and CCM}

    Kind regards

    Antra

  • On cards FXO caller ID

I need a little help from someone intelligent voice (or at least a little bit cleverer than me). I use the handler calls 7.1.3, with H.323 gateways.  Most of my entry doors are 2800 routers with PRI and DID blocks on them.  I have a special office that has just a few FXO cards with a few lines of JARS connected to them.  I almost never get dirty with this office, so I know very well the layout.  I'm much more familiar with my PRI gateways.

So that's my problem.  I have a user who has a number, it is used for years.  This number is transmitted in our main number XXX-XXX-5155.  When he screams, he wants to display the number caller ID for a long time honey.  However, the caller ID shows POTS another line XXX-XXX-5740, when he emerges from this gateway.  If it goes out one of my PRI gateways, it shows the desired caller ID.  I'm trying to understand what dictates the caller ID.  I don't know if there is a setting in CUCM, a framework on the bridge, or just related to the line that uses the bridge for the tone to the outside, through the phone company.

This is the base of my gateway config to this place (a VG200).

As you can see, the displayed caller ID is that of the line of pots voice-port 1/1/1.  2501 is a post internal which is attached to the phone from the receptionist to the same office.  In the call manager, I can go in the phone of that particular person and value its 'external phone number mask' XXX-XXX-0494, but if it goes out this VG2000, it will display XXX-XXX-5740.  Can anyone think of a way to spend the caller ID through the gateway?

If there isn't a way, given the limitations of configuring FXO, maybe there is a way to convert his external number to a pots line, plug it directly into a FXO card and send it to its extension?  Then having its extension route its calls on this line of pots?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Jake, there is no way to hide the identity of the appellant during the passage of the FXO port. The caller ID is showing as connected to port 1/1/1, because the voice of dial-peer a 8-0, preferably so the call will take this dial-peer as "primary".

    Gabriel.

    Hi community support

When we get calls from an IP phone on a gateway H323 ISDN globalize us the number of models of translation so the display on the phone is the E164 number, for example + 442071234567. We want this even when the call is ringing / connected for us to use the view command no service additional h225 - prevent cid-update on the H323 gateway otherwise the alert screen is updated with the number of the corresponding when Dial peer ringtone and connected.

When we get calls from an IP on a CUBE phone to SIP the number is still globalized at E164 in models of translation however once we hear ringback the display on the phone IP poster "private." Can someone please advise if there is an equivalent in SIP to the command no service additional h225 - prevent cid--update.

These are the CUBE CCSIP debugging messages:

    Carl,

Understand why you are getting the private sector in State of ringtone will lead us to solve this problem much more efficiently.

If we look at the 183 Session progress sent to CUCM...

+++ See here this part called privay = full (meaning private)

    Envoy:
    SIP/2.0 183 during the Session
    Via: SIP/2.0/TCP 172.20.44.104:5060; branch = z9hG4bK3e5ecc3bcebb92
    -
    Remote-Party-ID: <> [email protected]/ * / >; left = called; screen = yes; intimacy = full

Now that we know this, I would take a different approach to solve this rather than disable remote-party id in total...

    Here is my proposed solution...

    SIP-class voice profiles 3
    answer 183 sip remote-Party-ID header change "" "<>[email protected]"/ * / > ""

Then you must apply the sip profile at the foot of basketing od the call... IE cucm cubed

    Dial-peer telephony voip xxx
    profiles of sip voice-class 3

Now, when the appeal is as a ringtone, the full display will be + 44... What was initially called number.

  • Need help basic Dial Plan

    Hello

I have a dial enough (basic) issue of regime.  I need all incoming calls to the PSTN to directly access our standard of Auto number express unit which is currently extension 502.  I thought I had set up properly in CME (8.6), but I get a message that the number is not reached.  Any help is appreciated as I may have missed something. Here is the abbreviated Config:

  • SIP Dialer with voice gateway using the FXO Ports

    Hello

We have a laboratory UCCE consisting of an outgoing SIP dialer and a h323 2811 voice modem router with 2 FXO ports. The Dialer reserve an agent and sending the call to the bridge, but the call fails immediately with the bridge return a "404 not found" error to the Dialer. Call directly from a CUCM extension attempts to connect successfully through the FXO. Any thoughts?

    Jeff,

I guess that 100 & 101 voip dial peers point to a CuCM?

The destination model on the voip dial peer does not 1001 on the ERA and they must change to something like: -.

    Dial-peer voice voip 101

    voice mail Dial 100

    destination-model [12]...

    voice mail Dial 101

    destination-model [12]...

    destination-model [2]...

    Hope this helps,

    Craig

  • Conference CME v9 SLBA Adhoc (more than 3 games) for SIP phones 99xx

HI, does anyone know if MultiPary Adhoc Conference for more than 3 parties for SIP phones (like 9951) is supported in CME v9?

I have a GUY working with CSPC and SIP phones. Conference to several ad-hoc (with more than 3 parties) works perfectly when it is generated from phone SCCP. But when he tries to do so with a SIP phone (9951) it can only do the 3 participants.

I suspect it is not supported, no one knows for sure?

I have enabled hardware Conference. Just in case, here is the config:
