  Hello Experts,

  Recently, I changed my EHT Admin password, now I can connect to the ISE of GUI with the new password, but I can not connect to it through CLI or using old/new password.  I tried to change the GUI mode admin password again, but still I can not connect to ISE by CLI.

  ISE got Admin GUI and CLI accounts are separate accounts.  Passwords are synchronized during the initial installation.  All other times, it must be done manually.

  The unique password which can be changed via the GUI is the password for the Admin GUI.

  The two passwords can be changed in CLI, but with very different commands.

  To change the password of Admin CLI, simply enter the command password

  To change the password of Admin's GUI, the command is reset-passwd newpassword admin ise application

  However, in your case, you must boot from the DVD of the ISE (or iso, if virtual) and select option 3 or 4 depending on your situation.

• Can't access ColdFusion 9 Admin after admin domain password change

  We have a CF 9 MultiServer configuration that worked perfectly for the past year. Recently, a change domain admin password armed our IIS, which we worked by changing passwords for admin for each application pool in IIS 7.

  Since then, however, I can not access the Admin CF main page, which gives a 404 error. I can access the page admin for multiple sites by visiting the internal IP address of the server and specifying the port (192.168.xxx.xxx:8301, 192.168.xxx.xxx:8302, etc.), but if I try and start over for the main site of the CF Admin (port 8300), I get a 404 error.

  The guy who created our server is long gone, and even if I know enough about CF to keep things running, it has left me speechless.

  I am convinced, the problem lies in IIS, but I was wondering if anyone here has any experience of such a problem?

  Here are the steps to do:

  (1) - connect to the console of administration WebLogic Server with the existing user id & password.

  (2) - in the tree view of the left hand to safety-online realms-online myrealm =>, click users

  (4) - in the hand right pane, click the general-online password: change

  (5) - enter the new password and retype the same password to confirm.

  (6) - click on apply.

  (7) - stop the administration server.

  (8) - change the server startup script to change the WLS_PW setting for the new password, it will be like:

  WLS_PW = new_password

  (9) - change the gateway.ini located in METASOLV_HOME/servername/appserver/gateway/directory where servername is the name of the server. In gateway.ini change the password under the JDNI tag parameter, it will look like:

  [JNDI]
  User = admin_user
  Password = new_password
  Factory = WebLogic.JNDI.WLInitialContextFactory
  URL = http://xx.xxx.xxx.xx:7001

  (10) - restart the management server.

  I changed my password a while but my children damaged my computer and so it's been a few months that I could use it so now I forgot it. I read that I have to use a Windows repair CD, but I have not one of these? My concern is that I have a lot of my sons first pictures and video of his birth on the profile of admin users.   Remove the hard drive from the computer and then ask a member of the family of a friend if you can connect to their machine and copy the data from your drive for them or a flash drive.

  Now, you'll be able to do everything which is necessary to get your computer going again without having to worry about the photos... :-)

  When al is back as it should, you can consider using a backup disk...

  What password? You can change a password for the account, but if you do not know the FileVault password, you are in a bind. You need to call Apple directly if you their sent an emergency password when configuring the FV.
