Weird characters print excellent in acrobat

Just upgrade to Acrobat 8.1 to Acrobat 10. I use the product is to combine words and files to create a pdf excel report. Once it is I print anywhere from 5 to 75 copies of the report in Acrobat. It offers incredible efficiency, because it eliminates the need to print those working documents and Excel and then manually collect their. He also elimates factor the error in the order of the pages of the manual process.

The problem I have with Adobe 10 is excellent portion of the pdf file. Although the document seems perfect on the screen, many and sometimes all excel print boxes instead of text pages.  Boxes to look like this: ¨

Sometimes just a box replaces text between two letters and sometimes there are several boxes of different sizes all strung together. I guess it's a matter of police but have so far been without success to get the text to be printed instead of the boxes. Any ideas?

If just print the pages individually, then the problem is with the fonts being incorporated in the form of subsets of fonts in a PDF from different sources. The way to cure the problem is to use the pdf optimizer to remove embedded fonts, and then use the preflight for re - embed the fonts in the document. In the future this can be avoided if the process of creating PDF files includes the entire fonts rather than subsets of fonts.

  • How can I type the characters printed in green on the keyboard of Acer aspire switch 10?

My (Northern) keyboard on my Acer Aspire switch 10 has some characters printed in green. This includes the backslash character I need desperately. However, I can't find any information in the manual or elsewhere about access (type) these characters. Help, please!

I tried now. With the help of the button Fn-type only the characters printed in blue. The backslash is printed in green, as is the Danish æ and 0-slash (o). Explaining the problem to my wife, she wanted to give it a go. And to my surprise it resolved in less than a minute. I had missed that the backslash WAS ALSO printed in white on the same key as + and? so, to be able to type it, all I have to do is pressed the Alt - Gr key pressing this key. Stupid of me to do not see it the first time around.

Getting back to the question initial on the characters printed in green, I came to the conclusion that it is "conversion" of the keyboard in a Danish provision of individual countries by specifying this keyboard layout in Windows settings. Similarly, there are a few characters printed in red. I assume these are Norwegians.

This type of complexity, that's what you get when manufacturers want to reduce country-variants for as little as possible, I guess.

    So all is well here

For reference, I enclose a picture of my keyboard

I'm unable to print web Adobe Acrobat pages since I have upgraded to Windows 10. Is deployed a fix?

I conclude that it is specifically "Microsoft Edge" which is causing the problem.  I was able to print a Web page in Adobe Acrobat "Firefox" without problem.  So, I just never will avoid using "Microsoft Edge."

  • Problems to export to Excel in Acrobat XI

I have some problems to export a PDF to excel in Acrobat Std or Pro XI, but not in Acrobat Std or Pro X.  When exporting in X all the columns and rows are created as they should be, but in XI everything is slammed to the left in a column.  Someone knows something like that and is there perhaps a setting that miss me in the process of automatic conversion in X but not in XI?

Thanks in advance for the help.

I thought about it.  I called the customer service at the back (800) 585-0770 to prove that even if the day 30 trial of Acrobat XI worked well, I bought a new drive does not properly Adobe export. Adobe technology go on my computer to combat it and made a lot of tests.  He then made an update to Acrobat Xi.  If using Mac, open Acrobat, click on HELP at the top left, and then select get the updates.

Once the update has been installed, everything worked fine.

I hope this helped... try an update...

  • VBA Project Password dialog box indicated after closing Excel when Acrobat PDFMaker COM Addin is sound

VBA Project Password dialog box shown after closing Excel when Acrobat PDFMaker COM Addin is enabled

I have developed many applications in different environments (ASP, SQL, VBA, VB, etc.) of the past 20 years. Recently I've had reports about a bug that I believe that the derivative of a com add-in called "Acrobat PDFMaker Office COM Addin" (PDFMaker.OfficeAddin) developed by Adobe.

The application that generates the problem rests in Excel. There a Userform with a ListBox in it. The position of the listbox is different depending on several parameters and is changed programmatically. However, whenever the UserForm has proved and the user closes the file of the VBA project password dialog box appears. The pop up password must be cancelled 2 - 5 times before it disappears.

The problem of course is very annoying and difficult to explain to the customers who paid me for the solution. I spent a lot of time trying to solve the problem, but with little success.

Recently, I read in a forum that it was caused by the Acrobat PDFMaker COM Addin. I couldn't believe it, but when I disabled the add-in everything works correctly. In addition, in machines that does not add-in installed there is no problems reported.

    pens-after-closing-the-Excel-workbook http://www.excelguru.ca/forums/showthread.php?1009-quot-VBA-Project-Password-quot-Window-o

How to reproduce the BUG (5 minutes) (Courtesy Randall):

To reproduce this bug anyone can just create a new workbook for MacroEnabled, 1) adds a UserForm with a close button, 2) protect the VBProject code (this is essential), 3) add code to load or. View the UserForm in the WB or Activate open procedure, 4) add Userform code change of ownership (for example. High =. Left =. (Caption =) in the Userform Init procedure (this is essential), 5) save and close the workbook. (6) revive the workbook by ensuring that the UserForm is opened and then close it via the button you have provided on the UserForm. (7) exit the WB via the file Menu option - leave (this is essential). Wait, wait what he (about 5 seconds) :-) invited password VBProject to appear, repeatable.

As a solution, I tried to disable the add-in at startup, but the line Application. ComAddIns("PDFMaker.OfficeAddin ") . Connect = False

will throw an error "This add-in is installed for all users on this computer and may only be connected or disconnected by an administrator."

I read in some forum that the issue occurs if the ActiveX DLL does not correctly release the reference to the workbook that contains the VBA project protected by password (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/280454)

Any help to solve the problem or find a workaround is very appreciated.

    Hi Niklas,

The above question has been saved as a Bug and has been corrected in Acrobat 11.0.1 update.

  • Can print files to Acrobat 9 Pro with vector header and footer?

    OK-obviosly I don't know what I'm asking!

    Let me explain-

I want to be able to take a Word file or xls and when I print to Acrobat I have my logo as a vector image.  I don't want any documents to my clients who have raster images.  I know-weird and anal.

Now I put a png in word or xls file and save as PDF.  Or I use InDesign CS4 and manually copy / paste the content in the file.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you!

The problem is that your original image is a PNG file. It is a bitmap image. You should start with a vector and use it in your WORD file. The end result should be vector in this case. Print in PDF format will not change a bitmap to a vector graphic. EMF, EPS and other general forms can contain graphics bitmap or vector, but like I said your departure point was a bitmap PNG file and so you're stuck with bitmap unless you back up and redo your logo.

  • won't print excel documents

We have a Dell Vostro 200 desktop computer that we have recently upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 7.  We have a HP Photosmart c5580 all-in-one printer.  I have Microsoft Office 2003.  Recently downloaded HP driver version 13.0 for internet software.  I can print anything but a document/spreadsheet excel.  Error message says something about "Ne03.  What is the problem?

    Redfletcher,

Thanks for the information. I want to you to try to create a new Excel spreadsheet. Office programs tend to store the old hardware information which can have references. You want to print the existing sheets?

Create the new sheet, it does not print? If this print then you will need to recreate your old sheets, or you can contact the Microsoft Office Support and see if there is a better way to solve this problem for you. Because the problem is only with Excel and other documents are able to print on your printer C5500 series, we know that the printer and the software are very good.

You also have the option to use Microsoft Fixit to try and troubleshoot MS Office, click on the link below to get started:

    Attach it to MS

I hope that this helps, please let me know what happens when you create a new Excel sheet.

  • printing excel spreadsheet

I'm a new MAC user.  I'm trying to print an excel worksheet.  It prints with a small font and is not readable.   How can I increase the font for printing.   Is there a preview before printing?  I could not find.

Your problem lies really in Excel and not your Mac. As with the version of MS Windows, you will need to set the size of the police and also determine what will be the print area. I would recommend with respect to preview before printing, http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/mac/forum/macoffice2011-macexcel/where-is-pri nt-preview-in-office-for-mac-2011s/f6b0a... for help in looking at this issue.

  • MS Natural wireless keyboards - weird characters/actions on the keys

I have three sets of mouse and the MS Optical Desktop Pro keyboard, and two of them are doing strange things.

The label situated under indicates "WUR0385" and the Microsoft reference number X 09-55569.

One of them generates spontaneously and intermittently 2222222222222222.  Can I leave a window open and focused notebook, and some time after it will be full of 2 s. tried to disassemble and clean the contact sheets, no improvement.

Other product actions and combinations of strange characters when you press some keys.  For example:

number zero (first row) often is 0.

Letter 'p' prints the letter as well as a carriage return and opens an Internet Explorer window

a semicolon causes a 'My Documents' window to open it and try to connect to Windows Messenger

a slash (/) print often / + and opens the calculator

Shift-slash print? + and opens Media Player

A bar of volume will appear in double quotes.

The batteries are charged, and the receiver is about two inches from the keyboard.

Can anyone offer a solution to these problems?

    Hi Techineer54,

    • When was the last time it was working fine?

    Method 1

I suggest to use the keyboard of the screen and check if the problem persists.

Open and customize the Visual keyboard

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-XP/Help/on-screen-keyboard

    Method 2

You can also connect two keyboards on another computer and see if the problem still occurs.
