WerFault.exe continues to use all CPU, despite Microsoft Error Reporting turned off.

Although even I turned off the Microsoft error (running Vista Home Premium) report continues to use all CPU, I read a lot of geek and tech stuff after googling the problem and thought that I had found the answer.  I uninstalled a few programs that I did not, and he was glad that the problem has disappeared.  After one episode a week, he started to reproduce. It could be something else to do, but I can't locate the forum who suggested to uninstall programs.   Even when I open Explorer and Windows Task Manager just. WerFault.exe executes two threads.  All the answers?  I hope of course!  Thank you

When WerFault.exe turns that means that other tools have crashed. Reactivate the WER service and check the item 'Problem and Solution' applications that crashed the last days.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

    Hi Wannknow,

It's good information - and thanks for the thanks! You really only need to run an adware or virus (malware) program at the same time. What I would recommend is that you choose an adware program - either "Windows Defender" or "spyware doctor" and disable the other. This can be your root problem, so at this point I turn back on 'report of problems and solutions' and see if you experience the same problem:

    Again, here are the instructions:

    1. open Control Panel. (Press Ctrl-ESC and type 'control' is faster access method).

    2. click on "System and Maintenance" and then click "problem reports and solution."

    3. click on change settings in the left panel of the problem reports and Solutions window.

    4. Select Advanced settings.  In the "for my programs, problem report is: ' select 'off '. Click on CLOSE the

Do a hard reset of the printer.
Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector.
This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

  • Delete all groups and layers that are turned off, even if they are locked

    Hello

I need help with a script that will do the following:

Delete all groups (including the layers inside) and layers so they are not visible - with the following requirements

    a. even if the group or layer is locked

    (b) even if the layers within the group are locked

    c. same layers within the group are visible, although the parent group is off

Then... the required logic would be

Is it group or layer turns off? Yes, then delete all independently of any other thing, OTHERWISE move on to the next layer/group

Basically, I have a lot of groups and layers here and I want to analyze the layers to leave just the layers that are visible in the final document. Visible merge or flatten the will does not work as I want to keep visible and visible layers. Layers remove hidden does not work. And file/scripts/deleting empty layers does not work because the layers are not empty. They are simply not necessary.

    In collaboration with CS6.

    Thank you

The other is round, but this should unlock all layers, after that delete hidden layers should work.

  • plugplay service using all cpu

I recently hit a performance on my PC problem - looking at the Task Manager, I see that an instance of svchost.exe is gobbling up CPU.  I selected the process and found it in PlugPlay DCOMLaunch services. I found other similar problems on this forum, but no definitive answer to fix things when the service is listed as PlugPlay.

I guess it is something about service PlugPlay which causes the problem, but how can I solve this problem? I looked at the options for disabling a service, but he said that Plug-and-Play is essential & if I turn it off I get to system instability.
I am running Vista Home Premium with service pack 2.

You would need to split export into several parts and have several exports running at the same time.

  • You are using Windows XP, is it possible to turn off my computer at a certain time each night?

I saw a post on the instructions for the use of Windows 7, but I couldn't figure out how do it with XP.  This can be done?

    Use the Task Scheduler

    1. Click Start, all programs, accessories, System Tools, and then select Task Scheduler
    2. Click on add scheduled tasks
    3. in the next screen, you will see a list of programs, select Browse
    4. in the file locations box type shutdown /s /t 60, 60 will give a 60 second warning before shutdown occurs, do not hesitate to change it if necessary
    5. Follow the rest of the guests of the wizard to schedule the task, defining the task will run every day and at the time where you want

If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask, good luck

  • HP dc7600 xp pro won't start at all no safe mode, the monitor turns off

HP dc 7600 does not start I have no disks.partition to install. (1) \\service 32 blah blah about 18 diferenent 32 files happen when I try safe mode to move forward, then lock tried new monitor I just need to get the safe mode to work

First of all, please do not proceed with the bla, gloom :)

If you can tell us exactly what you see, chances are that someone has seen and knows how to solve this problem.

When you start mode without failure and the system crashes, which is the last line that you see on the screen (blah, blah should not be the answer).

Tell us something about your system:

What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

The question was preceded by a loss of power, aborted reboot or abnormal termination?  (this includes the plug pulling, buttons power, remove the battery, etc.)

The afflicted system has a working CD/DVD (internal or external) drive?

If the system works, what do you think might have changed since the last time it did not work properly?

Have you installed a new hardware or software before this affliction?

Was there something wrong before that lock in question, and to try to fix things, has taken a chkdsk or verification of disk errors?

While you wait, I think you should make you a bootable CD from the Console of the Recovery XP (no XP media required) and get your started on that system and run a chkdsk/r from the XP Recovery Console.

    Here's how:

If you have no XP bootable media (or aren't sure you have) create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console and do not forget.

This is not the same as recovery disks that might have come with the acquisition of the system store.

You can make a bootable Recovery Console CD by downloading an ISO file and burn it to a CD.

The ISO bootable image file you need to download is called:

    xp_rec_con. ISO

    Download the ISO from here:

    http://www.mediafire.com/?ueyyzfymmig

Use a new CD and this simple and free program to burn your ISO file and create your bootable CD:

    http://www.ImgBurn.com/

When you install ImgBurn, DO NOT install the Ask toolbar.

Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:

    http://Forum.ImgBurn.com/index.php?showtopic=61

It would be a good idea to test your bootable CD on a computer running.

You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive.  These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load.  If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.

When you start on the CD, follow the instructions:

Press any key to boot from CD...

    Installing Windows... going to pronounce.

Press 'R' to enter the Recovery Console.

Select the installation that you want to access (usually 1: C:\WINDOWS)

You may be asked to enter the password (usually empty).

You should be in the folder C:\WINDOWS.  It's the same as the

C:\Windows folder that you see in Solution Explorer.

The Recovery Console allows base as file commands: copy, rename, replace, delete, chkdsk, fixboot, fixmbr, cd, etc.

For a list of the commands in the Recovery Console, type help at the prompt of commands or read on here XP Recovery Console:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/proddocs/en-us/recovery_console_cmds.mspx?mfr=true

A good idea before you start things must first verify the integrity of your file system by using the chkdsk command.

In the command prompt window, run the chkdsk command on the drive where Windows is installed to try to fix any problems on the afflicted player.

Running chkdsk is fine, even if he finds no problem.  It won't hurt anything to run it.

Assuming your boot drive is C, run the following command:

    CHKDSK C: /r

Let chkdsk finish to correct the problems, he could find.

It may take a long time for chkdsk complete or they seem to be "stuck".  Be patient.  If the HARD drive led blinks always, chkdsk is something.  Keep an eye on the amount of the percentage to be sure that it is still making progress.  It may even seem to go back sometime.

You must run chkdsk/r again until it finds no error to correct.

Remove the CD, and then type "exit" to exit the RC and restart the computer.

You have not to set the BIOS to boot the disk HARD since the CD won't be.
