  My HP PSC 2400 suddenly changed the way it prints my emails. He worked with my Windows 8.1 very well but now today is no longer, it prints or GO on my incoming or outgoing emails but rather prints just my name at the top in blue and prints as if it were a kind of memo format. In the past, it has been working great. Just today, he decided to change the way it prints. It is never used to ask me if I wanted to print "Memo" or "Table".  Of course some settings changed on its own, but I don't know where to go to fix the setting.  I hope someone knows how to fix this problem.   Thanks for your reply.  I had used your printing HP and Scan of the doctor before making my post.  He now works once more and the problem seems to be that the printer had got somehow a loop and could not function.  I had unplugged and reset several times without success.   I finally left it unplugged for 12 hours.  When I reconnected it, the printer started to print once more.  The HP PSC 2410 photosmart is an older printer and I think it's on its last leg unfortunately.  It has been a work horse and I shall certainly, when it produced its last printed sheet.

  Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
  Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector.
  This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

  Looks like you have a problem with the mode 'sleep'.  There are only a few things you can try when this happens.  First of all, make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet.  If you have connected it to a surge protector or power stirp, he cannot get enough power to wake up.  The only other thing you can do is to ensure that the latest firmware is installed.  You can find the instructions below.

  A complete printer driver of functionality for one or more versions of Windows is not available for your printer, or from the CD supplied with your printer from the HP website. To use your HP printer with a Windows computer, you must install the driver built-in. To do this, please take a look through this guide, installation of your printer using the built-in Windows driver. Otherwise, I suggest upgrading to a printer of software complete features and drivers available for Windows 7. Here, a list of printers that are compatible with Windows 7.

  I got a G4 MacPowerBook operating an all-in-one HP PSC 1610v and when my G4 died I replaced it with a MacPowerBookPro 10.8.5 OS and now my HP 1610v all-in-one works as a scanner.  I tried to download software drivers on the HP web site to correct the problem, but have been unable to do.  Can anyone suggest a fix or workaround?  IowaLocalBoy

  We will uninstall the software by using the "scrubber":

  Go to Applications/Hewlett Packard / click Uninstall HP
  Click on continue
  Highlight your device in the left pane
  Press on and press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Cmd keys on the keyboard at the same time as you click on uninstall, it IS the Option of the scrubber, no button is labeled "washer".
  There will be a pop up that asks if you are sure you want to uninstall all hp software. (At this point, if you continue, all HP printers you have installed will need to be reinstalled)
  Click on continue and let it finish

  Restart your Mac.

  Now reset the printing system:

  -Sys Prefs, Print & Fax
  -Right (control) click inside the box that lists your printers and select Reset Printing System.
  WARNING - This will remove ALL your printers!
  -Select the sign + to add again. Search for the printer, select it, and wait until the button 'Add' becomes available. Until it clicks.

  I can help you use your PSC 1350 with your Mac running Yosemite.

  Please first reboot the Mac and printer, then download and install the HP printer drivers.

  You'll need a printer AirPrint enabled to print directly from an iPad or a network printer to print from HP ePrint mobile app.

  I'm afraid the PSC 1350 is a single USB printer, it doesn't support printing from a mobile device like the iPad.
