  This is nothing unusual. You need to pass only to the WLan and then disappear the wishes of the box! There is nothing wrong.

  Step 1:

  Make sure you have the latest NETWORK adapter drivers installed.

  Also, see if there is a software that goes along with the drivers.  If so, get the latest version of this as well.

  Are you the same Scott, I tried to help the last month? If this is you, I left a couple more views. In one of them, I explained that exactly the same problem you encounter happened on my son's computer. I just disabled the router, waited for about ten seconds and he turned his back and that's what it took. I used actually utility of Windows troubleshooting and he advised me to do.

  Probably when you connected to them in the past, you have clicked on the box that says "automatically connect" for them.  Your wireless card search all detectable networks near your location and connect to one with the signal stronger where this check box is selected.  Try to connect to these one by one and uncheck this box for all, except the one you want to use normally.

  If there are two antenna cables in the compartment, you'll be able to add a wireless card, but it may be that in the list of the parts on page 4-11 (map, mini-PCI-802. 11b worldwide, part # 319468-002).

  Wireless B (11 Mbit/s) only, and if you have a newer router for the past two years or so there is a good chance that it does connect, because drivers will be too old.

  This is the cheapest I could find.  See if you can find one cheaper. Find the number of piece only.

  Installation of any other card WLAN but the one above, will result in the laptop is not cranking up what the card does not support is removed.

  If there is no antennas in the compartment, I wouldn't waste my time. You will need to disassemble the entire notebook including the screen to run the antennae through the phone.

  You have a relatively new wireless-n (which is capable of WPA2) router and an ancient wireless adapter.

  You should really consider getting a wireless n adapter.  It would be much faster, but also much safer.
