  I don't have this environment to test this, but I can infer that you might be able to disable scrolling acceleration: Firefox menu > Advanced uner navigation or about: preferences in a new url #advanced.
  Uncheck the box for accelerated scrolling.

  This additional information is useful for finding a work around? If it's a bug of Firefox is maybe what version of linux use for scrolling. Mozilla only keeps the part of linux, but it might not hurt to fill out a bug report in bugzilla.mozilla.org.

  I open the web pages, such as adobe and click here to download Flash Player and there is no answer. I opened and reviewed the settings for foxfire and have been unable to find something that might address this problem. In addition, I have also checked the settings in Trend Micro and have discovered anything that could fix this problem.
  Interestingly, the button on this page seems to work quite well.

  You may need to disable the function of 'warning' talk you about redirects. In some cases, Firefox does not display the information bar and just silently blocks the redirect, which I think is what's happening on download sites.

  I've just updated to the latest version of Firefox (18.0.1) and I find that I can access is no longer at least half of the sites that I have used, such as Gmail and Facebook. Most of the sites I'll now do not even look right, they just display text, no user interface. Even as I type this upward, there are only text. I tried to use the clean tool from Firefox to find what plugins I had installed, and he gave me the same message "this connection is not approved. Most of the sites I have to allow me to make an exception, but Gmail is not, any more than the Firefox plugin page. I have used Firefox for years, but this is the first time I've ever had a problem like that.

  Make sure that you are not Firefox running in (permanent) private browsing mode.

  Wake-on-Lan is disabled.  Power options are:

  Sleep after 10 minutes

  Processor power management: 10% to 100%

  I suggest that you change the power supply for the multimedia settings options.

  ·         Go to the Start button, Control Panel, click Power Options.

  ·         Choose a power plan different from that you have chosen. If you have high performance, then choose balanced.

  ·         Then click on Change Plan settings. If you get the Windows needs your permission to continue, click on continue. Choose the time you want to put the computer to sleep.

  ·         Then click on change advanced power settings. Under Advanced settings, scroll down to Multimedia settings.

  ·         Expand when sharing media, choose "allow the computer to sleep.

  ·         If this option is grayed out, go to the top of the screen and click on change settings that are currently unavailable.
