I received a 'pop-up' telling me that I could not open a file in particular, because I have no "PNCRT.dll" installed in my computer.  I have no idea what it is - where can I get all this - and why I need?  I've never seen this type of popup before.  I use windows 7-64, and my computer is 2 years old.

    Hello

    1. Have you installed programs recently that are the cause of the problem?
    2. Don't you see any name in the error window program?
    3. What is the full error message?
    4. When exactly do you get the popup error?

PNCRT.dll contains standard functions of the C development language interface. No system like pncrt.dll processes are created from the software you have installed on your system

Step 1: Re-register the dll file

    1. Hold down the 'Windows' key and press 'R '.
    2. Type 'regsvr32 pncrt.dll' in the dialog box, then click on 'OK' to save the file.
    3. Restart your computer system.

I have HP Pavilion Touchsmart 15-n037cl and want to upgrade to the max memory but do not know what is the maximum memory.

    Hello

The maximum ram you can install is 16 GB (2 x 8 GB Modules) - for example, the next upgrade would be appropriate.

  • What is the maximum ram that can be installed in the hp pavilion 1325sa g6

The manual for the 1325sa g6 says support up to 8 GB, but the options only go up to a 4 + 2 GB (6 GB)

    Hello

I think you should indeed be able to install 8 GB (2 x 4 GB ddr3 modules).

I saw this rather strange limit of 6 GB mentioned before - there is a similar thread here where a 6 GB limit is mentioned on a similar machine, but 8 GB installs Ok.

You could always check helps determinative system scan on the following link.

  • The BIOS of my dv2610us stop me from changing my mini-pci card?

is there a white list in my bios that would prevent me from changing the Broadcom BCM4311 for a mini-PCI with my choice?

I have read several posts on the forum who said their model of HP had limitations in the BIOS but they were all pretty old, and I hope that HP has changed their policy on this.  I can understand the blocking for overclocking settings, but this seems a little extreme.

I contacted the support of discussion about this today, but I had the strong feeling that he did not know what in the world I was talking (but he offered to sell me the same wireless card that I told him that I wanted to replace...)

    I edited my name on...

dirtsandwich: The dv2610us has a 'white list' on the bios that blocks some install mini-pci cards?
[An agent will be with you shortly.]
[You are now chatting with Shane].
    Shane: Hello dirtsandwich.
    dirtsandwich: Hi Shane.
Shane: Welcome to HP Total Care for laptop, my name is Shane. Please give me a minute while I quickly look at the description of the problem.
    dirtsandwich: no problem
Shane: dirtsandwich, could elaborate you on this issue, so that I can help you better?
    dirtsandwich: sure no problem.
    Shane: Thank you.
dirtsandwich: I tried to buy a new mini-pci card to replace the broadcom wireless card that came with my dv2610us. I read on some sites that have a white list on the BIOS that allows specific models of wireless cards to be installed in some models. If the model is not on the white list, then you can not install it.
Shane: Of course, I understand and regret the inconvenience. And I got my best efforts to solve the problem in a timely.
Shane: To help you in a better way, may I know the product and serial number of the laptop that is facing this problem?
dirtsandwich: I have the dv2610us. SN is XXXXX
    dirtsandwich: product is XXXXXXX
Shane: Thank you for providing us the information.
Shane: dirtsandwich, may I know you bought the new wirless card from outside the HP device?
    dirtsandwich: not yet
Shane: Well, you want to buy. Fix?
dirtsandwich: no, I want to know if the BIOS has a whitelist which will prohibit some installed wireless cards.
    Shane: Alright.
Shane: dirtsandwich, I understand your request.
Shane: If I understand the question, yopu desire to know who's here, any white list is available in the BIOS on this laptop, I'm wrong?

    Shane: * you
dirtsandwich: Well... is not available. I just want to know if HP has put one in the BIOS
Shane: Well, there's no white list will be available in the BIOs.
dirtsandwich: so if I buy a third mini-pci card it should install without problem?
Shane: Only we have some parameters like sound, VGA etc, you can disable or enable.
Shane: Is it an external wireless card, you can insert it via USB?
    dirtsandwich: no, it's a mini-pci pci-e card.
dirtsandwich: here... read this... that's what I want to do.
    dirtsandwich: http://h30434.www3.HP.com/PSG/board/message?board.ID=Internet&thread.ID=701
Shane: dirtsandwich, please give me 2 minutes while I wil chech this in my database.

Shane: Well, I read it, thank you.
Shane: Thanks for being online. I appreciate your time and the patince.
Shane: dirtsandwich, I checked in my resources, and I subscribe to tell you that you can connect the Mini-PCI Wireless card in your laptop.
Shane: And you can buy this from HP.
dirtsandwich: HP operates a base of Atheros mini-pci cards? When HP started to remove from the whitelist from the bios?
Shane: dirtsandwich, I am researching on this Yes, you can be online for 2-3 minutes.
    dirtsandwich: ok
    Shane: Thank you.
Shane: Thanks for being online. I appreciate your time and patience.
Shane: dirtsandwich, here is the description of the compatible with you laptop wireless card.
Shane: Wireless 802. 11 b / g mini PCI card (Broadcom, Hoya) adapter - data rate of 54 Mbps, 2.4 GHz bandwidth operation (most of the world)
dirtsandwich: ok. It's a Broadcom, which is what I am wanting to replace.
    Shane: Yes.
dirtsandwich: Does that mean that it is the only card that offers HP?
Shane: dirtsandwich, your laptop comes with this wireless card and HP doesnot recommends change internal maps.
    Shane: Yes.
dirtsandwich: Well it's maybe, but the broadcom chipset does not support some features that I use, and I don't want to carry a USB adapter more.
Shane: dirtsandwich, if you want I'll go ahead and order t for you immediately.
dirtsandwich: Why would a wireless card that I have order? I think I'm ok. a good night of Shane.
Shane: He'll gave you all the features that is compatible with youy notebokk, SPÖ please don't worry.
Shane: Well, I thought you want to buy it now.
Shane: Is there something else I can help you with today?

    Hi, Ralph:

On your PC motherboard has PCIe x 1 available connectors only.

I have provided a link to what you need.

You can get it here or a different model and your favorite PC Magazine, but it must be PCIe x 1 and No PCI.

  • Basler a601f ieee 1934 any pci card?

I intend to use an A601f Basler camera to inspect the components on the PCB. So far I used the wizard of Vision to simulate the process and I have my core of the loan program. But what I find hard is interfacing to the camera. I have a PCI IEEE 1394 [VIA OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller] card installed in my computer, but it doesn't seem to be something. I feel I could use bad equipment.

Looks like you're missing the vision acquisition software. It is the layer of conductor between the vision development module. You can download it here

  • I have a Pavilion p7 - 1067c and need to install an IEEE 1394 controller, but there is no PCI slot.

I need an IEEE 1394 port for capture video from my camcorder.  It doesn't seem to be the standard white connector on the motherboard to install a card.  There are a couple of black connectors line up with the empty card slot but not the white connector found on other computers.  I am familiar with the Texas Instruments OHCI IEEE 1394 Host Controller PCI compiant.  Is there something different for this HP?  I would be grateful for any help you can give me on this.

    Hello

Short black expansion slots are PCI Express x 1 ports so that you will need a firewire card with this type of connection - an example of this can be seen here.

    Kind regards

    Hey Buddy,

already enabled smart card service in the "services"? You must enable this service if it is not already done.

You can reach services' by clicking on START-> Control Panel-> administration-> Services-> smart card tools

Then go into this service, start him and to do as that kind of "autostart".
I hope my tip helps you with your problem. :)
