  You will get several answers.  I think you need to take a step back and look at your complete plumbing.  What are the formats you filming and editing to?  Take a look at Smart rendering in the body.

  Maybe that I miss the question, but I think you are looking for a good definition of the metadata model or same good architecture of content server instances themselves.

  You wrote that you have lots of files from one application (1200 check-ins per day) and you are limited by the recommendation to have maximum 1000 files in a folder. It is a bit of a mix of apples and oranges. Records are a logical representation of file storage, who must somehow match what users a) are used for b) is useful to organizational processes. If it makes no sense in the context of your organization - just don't use them. At the University Complutense of MADRID, he must be.   One thing that you need is a large aperture lens. With economies more a little more make sure you indulge yourself with a 50mm f/1.4, or for $100 get a 50 f/1.8. They are the almost magical things Dilatations Xtreme and a nearby object. Object is isolated, background is blurred bokeh, background lights are large round discs. In addition, they are great in the dark. Too much fun.

  I use optical quantum BD-REs for the test.  They seem to work pretty well with my Sony.

  But for the customer, I recommend that you use only Falcon Pro.  They are more expensive, but happy customers are well worth it.

  Not exactly the kerning, but you can move blocks wherever you want with the arrow keys. And you can change the spacing between the elements by changing the spacer between them. There are also defects of spacing.

  Batch edit can be something again. I use 6.0, and I see that the most recent version is 6.5.

  I had problems with files EPS of Mathtype, which may include a preview, but do not include fonts. So, I opened each equation of the word with my default settings (they automatically change the default fonts, spacing, size, etc.), copy, paste in Illustrator and save as have. So when I'm finished, my equations are always vector (if that's what you mean by text).

  Microsoft has chosen to implement a version of Mathtype dumbed-down as the editor of Word equations for many years. So for me at least, long term has already been decided. There are several things wrong with Mathtype, but given the choice between the use of Mathtype to * convert * equations and using InMath or mathemagiques to * recreate * equations, I'll take Mathtype, warts and all.

  on the assumption that you always have access to the navigation bar, right click on the stop button, when the home page is loaded and check the 'Menu Bar' option in the context menu that appears.
