  Basically, I use attachMovie to load into a movieclip linked library, I then dynamically (depending on what part of the movieclip is clicked) load in an another movieclip linked in the initially loaded mc... what a sense... Loading the first movieclip works perfectly, but I have a real problem of loading in the second in the original.
  
  loadHolder is the function that works and is called when the chassis short, loadFabric is one of the questions. It unloads the movie perfectly, but refuses to load the linked movieclip (currently only a red square) in.

  Welcome to the forums.

  No need for samples, all you have to do is 'Add' in the same way that you do when you add the original controls to the screen.  You can remove.  The trick is that you must be running on the event to do this Thread, but if you do this in a fieldChangeListener or a click menu or change of focus, then you run on the thread of events and add/remove operations is possible.

  Tech in general server-side is also a fairly large area, even if focus me only on the communication technology.

  • The use of web sockets on the client and server would be an option (it is part of JEE7 and you can include the libraries of customer specific web socket with your client application in JavaFX).  Web Sockets simply provide a transport mechanism, so you must always define your own protocol format and communication of serialization to sit on top of the raw web decision-making.  You can use stuff like JMS and STOMP on web socketsand pair it with that Jackson serialized JSON objects, but it is overkill for many applications.
  • Stick to something a little more proven as JAX-RS is bigger than the web use of sockets and you'll probably find examples more and have fewer teeth problems.
  • Things like Hessian binary formats are surprisingly simple to work with.
  • Akka is quite a system ordered, although it is not part of Java EE, it's a good choice if your application is basic Scala.  You can use it with Java, but I just like playing with it works better with Scala.

  In short, I guess, a lot of options.

  It's a little surprising, performance is usually not a problem for this kind of technology unless you are dealing with large scale, often people make too big a deal out of it IMO.  Generally, it's things like the number of roundtrips, the network latency and performance of Access database including most impacts network performance.

  Understand the dynamic Calc members

  For a member marked as dynamic Calc, Essbase does not calculate its data value in a calculation of batch database (for example, a CALC ALL). Instead, Essbase calculates the value of data during playback (for example, when you retrieve the data in addition to spreadsheet or Smart View.)

  Specifically, Essbase calculates a value for data dynamically when you request the value of data in one of two ways:

  • By retrieving the value of data in the spreadsheet Add-in or Smart View
  • By running a script that displays the value of report data

  Essbase does not store the value calculated; It recalculates the value of each subsequent recovery.

  Formulas and calculated dynamically members

  You can include a dynamically calculated member in a formula when you apply the formula to the outline of the database. For example, if Tri1 is a dynamic member Calc, you can place the following formula on Qtr1 in database schema:

  You can certainly use dynamically calculated members in a calc script/trade rule.

  What you can't do (but), is write to this dynamically calculated member.  What I mean by that is if MbrABC is a calculated dynamically, member you can not send (via Smart View, loads of data or a calc script assignment) data to that Member.  Which is weird, it's allowing of Essbase, at least from the user interface of the client, allow you to send, but then not tell you that the data sent to the MbrABC do not stick.  <--This isn't="" totally="" true="" in="" the="" case="" of="" a="" data="" load="" as="" you="" will="" get="" a="" warning="" message="" that="" not="" all="" of="" the="" data="" got="" loaded. ="" but="" eas/maxl="" will="" not="" tell="" you=""> What members are dynamic and so not a loading managed.

  Finally, the dynamic commentary on Calc being slower in calc scripts is to assess member formula whenever it is referenced as part of an intermediate form of Essbase.  If they have been stored, then it will have to be read from in the block but not actually calculated.  You get to play the popular game of Essbase to ' when I want to feel pain?  As long as the dynamic calc is in the block, calculations in memory are usually so fast that it doesn't really matter.  If the dynamic calc goes through blocks, then there may be some very noticeable pain.

  Now I'm stuck on what I can pass this request in to get my result. What I've read, dynamic SQL method 4 would work if I incorporate Pro/C. I hope this isn't my only option. I have considered to try to do this in a function table in pipeline, but since the columns returned are not known in advance, I can't create a corresponding data type.

  Ignoring the actual query and looking at the dynamic SQL part of the question.

  There are 3 ways to run a dynamic select SQL in PL/SQL code.

  immediate execution requires a fixed number of bind variables, linking him in position and translates a single implicit output cursor extraction - requiring the projection of cursor to be known at the time of coding.

  REF CURSOR are essentially the same - the only exception being that it requires an extraction explicit coding process output cursor.

  DBMS_SQL differs in all of these respects. The connection is by name and not position. The connection is dynamic. Projection of the cursor must not be known at the time of coding. It is dynamically determined at runtime and fetch offers of release of the cursor with the projection of unknown SQL - coding time.

  Apex uses DBMS_SQL internally (in fact he uses DBMS_SYS_SQL properly run dynamic and specific patterns of Oracle SQL, as if a session connected as a scheme runs the SQL code). This allows the Apex to take a dynamic SQL that you enter a region (which can contain a variable number of bind variable), run it and make the projection of the cursor as an HTML report.

  If you are on apex 4, you should do the lower region of (target) an interactive report.
  I suppose you want all on page 48 now. ;-)

  The hidden field, we had on the other page, must now be on the same page.
  Let's call it P48_hidden_value.
  Then, you add a region (and it is important to place your interactive report of target in a separate region) on your page.

  When you change the report int. and go to the second tab "report attributes.

  under "Advanced attributes", under "Page elements must send", you must add our field of P48_hidden_value.
  This allows the interactive report accept the value in P48_hidden_value.

  The request under the interactive report must contain P48_hidden_value in where clause (or well it will not filter).
