  • What is the max memory for an iMac in early 2008

What is the max memory for an iMac in early 2008? MacSales.com shows a 6 GB kit, but crucial only shows a 4 GB kit.

    Thank you

    John

The computer iMac (early 2008) has two SDRAM slots in the bottom of the computer and comes with at least 1 GB DDR2 SDRAM installed into a slot. The maximum amount of RAM you can install in the computer is 4 GB (a 2 GB SO-DIMM in each slot).

  • What is a good replacement for Photos for Mac

I got my photos sorted by year and month in iPhoto, app Photos The destroyed that.  What is a good replacement for Photos for Mac I had digital pictures in 1999.  It will take me months to recover.  So what is a good replacement, needless organized storage edition, just logical.   Is there a product that I can export Photos to the?   The Photos application is too slow and freezes; It's just all around a mediocre product.

Migrating from iPHoto to Photos doesn't "destroy" anything - it keeps your albums events and converted into albums - pictures 2.0 vs iPhoto 9.6.1: features and capabilities - how many Photos handles content and metadata for iPhoto and Aperture - Apple Support

and of course iPhotos 9.6.1 still works very well - if you do not keep your system up to date see can't update iPhoto because it is not available in the App Store

You can export Photos in keeping the Organization of moments - you can export iPhotos keeping the exporting from iPhoto event organization

As to products - it's your choice - you can use the finder to organize into folders and preview to display pictures - or you can use one of the many programs available ranging from the free to the very expensive

I use Photos so am not upward on the different options and I suspect most of the volunteers here are the same and the answer is going to be personal anyway - no one but yo can do

    Maximum RAM 2 GB

Note: the manufacturer was required to provide a way to reinstall Windows. If it is not a set of disks with the computer, there will be a hidden restore partition (do not be confused with the system restore), you would use to return the computer to the State of the OOBE (Out of Box Experience).

Usually, just by pressing F11 continuously during the computer startup to display a boot menu offering the option you need.

You may need to contact the manufacturer of your hardware (Dell) to see what options they have to repair Windows.

  • Extension of the memory for Satellite L500 - 1-7

    Hello!

    I'm looking for more memory for my Satellite L500 - 1 7 portable. I am looking for 2 or 4 x 4 GB
    but I can't believe that the price is about 249.00 for a 4 GB memory DDR2 PC2
(800 MHz) (in the toshiba official store).

I was looking on amazon and first ordered it (http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B0034PO3FG/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00)
which is certainly bad (it was for apple computers...).

Now, I'm a little confused that memory buy - what key information should I look to order good memory?
The manual says «...» Modules of memory 1 GB, 2 GB, or 4 Go PC3-8500/PC2-6400 can be installed in two memory locations... ».

    Thanks in advance,
    Fussel

    Hello

Given that the laptop supports only Intel GL40 chipset, you can expand the memory to 4 GB only.
So, you can use 2 x 2 GB RAM.

You can use DDR2 RAM 2 GB 667 MHz memory modules

    Hello

I think this old laptop HARD drive with IDE interface, so I think the upgrade up to 120 GB should be possible. I think that 80 or 100 GB should be enough for this good old classic.

I hope you aren't the guy who wants to have 500 GB. :)

  • Which module memory for Satellite Pro M70?

Hello! First post here, happy to join :)

    So, here is my question:
I have a laptop M70 and want to upgrade the memory from 512 MB to 1 GB. I checked Toshiba online store and found that in fact 2 memory of 512 MB with the same characteristics (512 MB PC2-4300 DDR2 533 MHz) are supposed to do the job...
The only difference is that the PA3412U - 1 M 51 is mentioned as "dual channel" and the PA3412U - 2M 51 is "RoHS compl.

So, what is the good? Another problem is that I can not really get any of these two because the first one is "sold out" and the second is 'exhausted '! Laughing out loud

But finding the correct for my system is a good first step, in my opinion. Thanks in advance! ;)

    Hello

In this unit are 2 slots available and you can upgrade the memory for max 2048 MB (2x1024Mo). You can use DDR2 memory modules.
I found information on the modules of memory support

    DDR2 400/533 256 MB (PA3389U - 1 M 25)
    512 MB DDR2-400/533 (PA3412U - 1 M 51)
    1 GB OF DDR2 400/533 (PA3411U-1M1G)

I would recommend to google for this part numbers and I m you will find an online store that offers this module.

  • Question on the module memory for Satellite A60

I have a Satellite A60-352, and I was wondering if I can put my module memory of my laptop on my desk. And another thing, where I find the module in my cell phone because I'm not.

    Thank you

    Hello

The fact is that the A60 was equipped with an internal memory (256 MB or 512 MB).
This memory is not removable and so you only have one memory for an upgrade slot.
Usually the A60 manages the PC2100 200 pin SODIMM (266 MHz) DDR modules.
So, you can use the modules from different manufacturers that support the above specifications.

    Good bye

  • Extension of the memory for Satellite M70 207

    Hello

I have the Satellite M70-207 with 512 MB of memory (DDR2 RAM) and I want to Add 1 GB of memory for this PC (total 1.5 GB).

Can I add another memory (RAM) to this PC?
    and how?

    Thank you

    Hi guys

I can confirm this info. You can certainly use a 1 GB module in a slot.
The laptop is able to manage 2 GB max memory (2 x 1024 MB)

As mentioned above the slit is placed at the bottom of the device and could be upgraded with modules like this memory: DDR2 400/533 1 GB (PA3411U-1M1G)

    Good bye

  • Display for Satellite 1400-103 driver

    Hello

I need a driver windows xp to a satellite 1400-103. I have searched the archives but does, can someone help. Thank you

    Hello

    I can't believe that.
I checked the page European driver of Toshiba and looked in the Archive and found Satellite 1400-103 and the display drivers for Win2k and Win XP.

Win XP driver is a Trident v 6.4022.

    Good bye

  • Memory maximum satellite 1400-103?

    According
    [Satellite 1400-103 specifications: OD = 1 http://be.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/jsp/SUPPORTSECTION/discontinuedProductPage.do?PRODUCT_ID=18117&DISC_M & LNG = 10 & service = BE]

Satellite 1400-103 has a maximum 1024 MB memory (2 slots of 512 MB)
512 MB is the maximum memory, which you can buy online for this laptop.

But when I click on 'options' of this laptop,
I see a memory card of 1 GB is available

    So the question is:
Is it possible to fill these 2 housing with 2 x 1 GB?
    Where do I go for a maximum of 2 x 512MB?

    Thanks in advance

I doubt that 2 x 1 GB is possible in this notebook, and as far as I know the maximum RAM capacity is 1 GB.

The best is improve you it 1 GB max. with 2 x 512 MB.
    The specifications are SDRAM PC133 and the reference is PA3108U - 1 M 51.
