What is a good router for use with Atheros 5007 & b Widows Vista?
I have Windows Vista sp2 and it has an Atheros 5007 network in it. I bought a Cicso wireless router, and it does not work with my Atheros network card. Any ideas for a better wireless router?

I am pleased that the issue is resolved.
I could easily recommend a new router, but I have to be sure I'm not wasting your money.
Unfortunately, I could not be part of the solution because there is no info on the first post that would help me by providing a robust solution.

I'm all new to Lightroom and thinking to use it as an archive system for all personal photographs that fall into the tens of thousands.
I would like to set up a basic system if to protect my images, but am not sure which vendor to go with, at this point.
So first of all, while getting to know Lightroom I thought I would set a Master Lightroom folder on my local experience. Once I got used to it I was wondering if I could transfer to any cloud based on server and I see again all my shots related to Lightroom in their respective folders?
While I'm here, I would also ask regular users of Lightroom that cloud system they found works best with Lightroom? I use an iMac and I wanted to go with Apple, but what I read I don't know how the practice, it would be with Lightroom? I will seek to buy 1 t of space on the cloud due to the large number of images, often taken on cameras large sensor, Nikon, PhaseOne etc there will be some Raw files in there.

Lightroom can't use cloud readers.
Photos must be stored on local drives or network drives. The catalog file must be stored on a local drive (internal or external) and not on a network drive.

I'm looking for a new monitor in the range 27-28 ". I have change for most HD content, but also some 4 K. My price range is to $1,200.
For HD, you should consider the U2413 of Dell UltraSharp is a monitor of 10 bits with a coverage of 100% of sRGB and has a built-in equipment 14-bit LUT. With a little work you can get it pretty much a perfect diffusion of performance. It's only 24 ", but it is 1920 x 1200, so the output is true pixel-to-pixel, I think is more important than the size. You can get it for less than $500.
For 4K you could go with the UP2414Q or if you prefer 27 "x 24", the P2715Q. Although the P2715Q is not a "Prime Minister color" monitor, it gives you a 10-bit display and 99% sRGB coverage.

What is the best HDMI switch for use with Apple tv 4. I heard some do not work and the automatic switch has problems because Apple tv is still using power?
I installed on a cutting and not because the automatic switch works because it isn't always. It came with a remote control that is almost as good, so don't mind the fact that automatic switching does not work well. The reason why I chose cutting is because it was the first device that gave me the good picture and sound quality with my AppleTV, the Xbox 360 and the PS4. (Don't ask!)

When you choose a webcam for use with host character, should what features I look for in the webcam? For example, choose the one that captures full HD (1080 p)? Or any webcam will work? I just want to be able to make the motion capture process as easy as possible, so I think I must look over the webcam plug before you buy.
Any webcam should work, but a higher resolution can improve the accuracy of tracking. Adequate/same lighting on your face is too important.

My Clickfree automatic backup drive I had for many years stopped working with my iMac, what is the best replacement to use with Time Machine.

External hard drive for use with FCPX Thunderbolt
I got a new iMac, but the SSD in it's tiny, so I need to invest in an external drive at least some of TB. Should I go Thunderbolt because I think it's faster? I'm looking at Fantom and Lacie but I'm not sure what would work best for use with FCPX.
Any tips or suggestions for these two manufacturers?

Well, a disc of Tb2 (which takes care of your iMac) will offer excellent performances. If you need these speeds depends on really how ask your projects are. A USB3 drive will be fast enough for the vast majority of HD projects. Expect to spend more for the readers of Thunderbolt2.

I hear you. I was there for more than 30 years.
There are very few single line fonts. And most of the people is the property of specific burning software (i.e. the TTF or OTF fonts). Apart from these burning programs, what had to happen is for a foundry of fonts specifically design a single font. And, from what I've heard of these smelters (for the last 30 + years), the market is too small. I'm not saying that they are correct, it's just that it is their perception.

It's the same language you are using, if you need a different language, go to the top-level directory, and then select the folder for the language of your choice.

What is a good replacement for Photos for Mac
I got my photos sorted by year and month in iPhoto, app Photos The destroyed that. What is a good replacement for Photos for Mac I had digital pictures in 1999. It will take me months to recover. So what is a good replacement, needless organized storage edition, just logical. Is there a product that I can export Photos to the? The Photos application is too slow and freezes; It's just all around a mediocre product.

and of course iPhotos 9.6.1 still works very well - if you do not keep your system up to date see can't update iPhoto because it is not available in the App Store
You can export Photos in keeping the Organization of moments - you can export iPhotos keeping the exporting from iPhoto event organization
As to products - it's your choice - you can use the finder to organize into folders and preview to display pictures - or you can use one of the many programs available ranging from the free to the very expensive
I use Photos so am not upward on the different options and I suspect most of the volunteers here are the same and the answer is going to be personal anyway - no one but yo can do

I have a phone, a personal hot spot 4s, a router and a broadband cable. Everything is running but I can't figure out how to get my network on my iPhone for use with Wifi. Also, I don't know how or where on the phone to set the password and since I don't have a different password, I can't use my wifi? Help, please! My iPhone tech is exhausted and I'm going against a brick wall with my internet service who refuses to provide me with their ISP, etc.

Please change GLOBAL_NAME to GLOBAL_DBNAME and then reload the listener. It should be like GLOBAL_DBNAME and GLOBAL_NAME not.
GLOBAL_DBNAME identifies the database service. Rename has nothing to do in the listener.ora file.
