How can I convert AIFF to ACC or MPEG?
Used to make all the time, but not for a long time. I would overlap with an air of mine that I recorded in GarageBand, and then somewhere in iTunes I'd like to find a window allowing me to change the format.

YouTube will not properly process an effect of «Noise of TV»
I have a TV sound effect that I created on a solid layer in After Effects with the Fractal noise effect.

Note that there are small spaces in all directions on the youtube video (so that little bit "blurs" everywhere), while the image of my computer displays no these little square. I have tried every setting possible rendering on my end and have produced many satisfactory renders, so I know that it is a question about end of YouTube. Anyone know if there is a way to set the encoder to YouTube?

The YouTube preset in Adobe Media Encoder with the data rate is pushed to the maximum value allowed by YouTube and multipass rendering game is as good as you can get because YouTube and Vimeo reprocess all listing videos.
The problem is a very low noise pattern changes very quickly and the MPEG compression. The color works in blocks of pixels, so you'll end up with interpolated colors. Just static in itself is not very fun to watch. I suggest you change your design.

Why 24 fps is converted to 23.98 when exporting?
I'm editing a short shot on RED. My source of the layer film is 24 frames per second. My settings of the sequences are also 24 fps. When I export in Quicktime, the output turns to 23.98 frames per second, even if I select DV NTSC 24 p. If I choose DPX or Quicktime, the output goes to 23.98. Why is it so?
If I check the box match sequence settings then it does to 24 fps but the format changes to the overview of MPEG.
How can ensure me that when I select export to 24 fps for any format, it exports to 24 fps.

DPX shouldn't be locked you in a specific rate; This is a picture of sequence (as far as the export as sequence box is checked), then you have a lot of flexibility about the rate of output. Can you show a screenshot of the frame DPX being selectable/immutable rate?
QuickTime is a different story, since it is just a container format. Once you select QuickTime on the Format drop-down list, you will need to go to the video tab and choose the codec you want to use. With QuickTime Player, you have a few dozen built-in choices, as well as any QuickTime additional codecs, that you installed, for example Avid DNxHD. If you have selected, say, DV NTSC preset, who will choose the DV codec - and which has very limited possibilities of frame rate. It is a function of the codec. If you change the codec to something like Animation or H.264, you will have a lot more frequency of images and dimensions that you can choose from. QuickTime can be used for many different deliverables - from SBDAs uncompressed for more editing/compositing for versions highly compressed for devices such as iPhones. This is why we must be precise about your delivery needs, rather than simply say «I need a QuickTime.» Once we know that, also the recommendation can be made.
To review again the DPX settings and if it is indeed an issue where you cannot change the settings after a screenshot of the export settings window.

I have tested CS5 Master Collection for a few days now!
Everything seems to work perfectly, until I tried to work with the first and still...
Always when I try to export a project (transcode), my computer freezes after 20 minutes...
I already tried to change the export formats (AVI, Mpeg,...) and used pre-recorded export settings and automatic configuration settings...
No matter if I want to burn a DVD project, or if I export a video out of first, transcoding seems to probably work until my pc crashes rough...
The computer is off, but the usb interfaces are always to the power (for example, the light of the mouse)...
I am running Windows 7 64 bit on an AMD Athlon dual core 2.4 2 GB RAM with Nvidia 8600GTS...
All the drivers are up to date and I am under a system clean without waste or software male...
I prefer Adobe software, but that would be a reason for me, do not buy it...
I would be very happy if you could help me...

Export the sequence from 1080/24 to the .mov in 1080/24... ?
New to the forum. I imported images XDCAM turned to 1080 p/24 fps and now ready to export my movie-media-about project a .mov file format in the same frame of 1080/24. I choose the mov file format in the drop-down list, but Adobe automatically sets the resolution of 720 p/24 fps. I click around - I see the "match sequence settings" box and click on it - it changes to file with a .mpeg extension (do not know if it is the mpeg2 or what).
The problem arises from this exported mpeg file not to be seen or heard by a user of Mac/FCP, the video appears as a white screen with no audio.
What Miss me?

You probably don't want to do use DVCPROHD, and CERTAINLY, you do not want to use the QuickTime Video codec - that will easily turn your video to porridge. In addition, ignore the Match sequence settings box; It is worthless.
How long is the piece you are exporting? If it's short-ish, you could probably get out with the help of None (which is uncompressed) as your video codec. The file will be large and directly proportional to the length of your movie. Is your source 1440 x 1080 or 1920 x 1080 footage? Set your image size of must appropriately to match that and then set the format of the pixels correctly. 1920 x 1080, you'll use square pixels. for 1440 x 1080, you'll use 1.333 anamorphic HD. Set your framerate to 23.976.
If the file is too large, you might want to check the Avid DNxHD codec; It is cross-platform, if you happen to be under Windows.

MBP has changed to new iMac - the problem persists
Hello ladies and gentlemen!
I can't believe I'm still having the same problem after a water landing forced my MBP mid-2012 and invest a lot of money in the new iMac. Now I'm sure this is the problem of the El Capitan, not the hardware. Especially after the last update of the system.
Everything was going fine until last week when my iMac suddenly started to have some kind of hiccups - mouse ceased to answer at any time (100% battery), pages began to load really slow and sometimes only has not at all and Adobe apps began to plant without any particular reason. Nothing has changed and I haven't done anything unusual when it was absolutely new and running like a beast.
The thing that is interesting to me is the use of the CPU and RAM. (It a few months ago when I had the problem with MBP), I noticed that when you open a page in Safari (any type of page) and let it stay there for a few days it starts to use a LOT of material in the background, even if you have completely forgotten this page and did not open it / refresh it for a long time - screenshots below. Why the hell is happening? I do not understand why Safari does need juice both by the love of God because no matter how much it will be, he will use it. I thought that changing from 8GB to 32GB it will solve the problem. Boy, I was wrong...

Should I change file Format for CD burning
I'm new with this please bare with me. What I can say all the music I have purchased through iTunes is in the AAC Audio file format. All the music that I imported into iTunes MY Cd collection has been imported with the Apple Lossless Audio File.
My question is the sound quality of the BEST CD, do I have to convert the music I bought, with is in the ACC Audio, Apple Lossless file format, then burn to the CD? There should just go with the Audio of the right VAC on CD file. I ask this for music that I bought. All the other songs I imported CD into itunes is already Apple Lossless. I am not concerned about the larger files, just to get the best sound quality for CD.

Now it is possible to convert your AAC to Apple Lossless files, the only change you will see is a significant increase of disk space being absorbed by these songs. Simply put, you can put the lossless format, but you will hear no audio enhancement. In addition, encoded AAC files downloaded from the iTunes Store already compete with the quality that you hear on a CD of music retail:
AAC encoded files compete with the quality of the audio CD and sound as good or better than MP3 files encoded in same or even a high sampling rate. For example, a 128 kbps AAC file should sound as good or better than a 160 Kbps MP3 file. Because the flow is weaker, the AAC file is also smaller than the MP3 file.

You could bounce back to a .wav file or a CAF.

How can I change the default applications (Linux)?
I have a RealVideo server, and I want to use RealPlayer to open different types of content such as audio/x-pn-realaudio, and text / vnd.rn - windows
For some types, I get a drop-down list that says "realplay (default)", but it isn't so it's Totem, which is crippled by RedHat, it won't play anything, except, perhaps, Ogg. I can choose the real realplay while browsing, which works but is tedious - my .mailcap file has all these types listed as using realplay is what I expect to be used.
For a type, he immediately launches Totem, and I don't see that in the edit/preferences/applications list, so I can fix it.

I red some reviews before buying it and I saw that this model is compatible with MPEG 4.While in London he used to play all local television stations. I send this TV to the Greece and it does not support local TV stations. There is a screen 'video format only is not supported"message or something like that.

No sound after changing Vista to XP
I had my - HP Pavilion a6319fh Desktop PC - changed to XP, Vista by a so-called expert. Everything works fine except no sound of any kind. I tried several different driver downloads, but not luck. The video works perfect, just no sound. Here are the details of the computer.
I get the message 'NO mixer available. At the bottom of this message is the only conflict that I could find. I also get unknown PCI device.
Any help that works will be rewarded.

Re: Camileo X 100 - cannot change files
I bought the Camileo X 100 and have been frustrated since I got it.
I can't change the files with anything, Adobe premiere CS5 sees them as only Audio, Sony Vegas Studio HD 9.0 see them as video with no audio.
I tried to convert them, but it converts with no sound and poor image quality or no video and just noise. VirtualDub gives me an error when I try to convert with her as well. QuickTime still plays them even after the installation of the Divx package.
It seems counterproductive to make a device that has the codecs that are difficult to change.
I ran Gspot and it says so-called H.264/Mpeg-4 AVC is standard, but the problem is that it has, in my view AVI container is.So my question is, I would return this camera? or y at - it a way to edit on Vegas or creation?
