  Usually the CPU upgrade not is not supported by Toshiba... but if you use the CPU of the same family of CPU (i5 - 520 M, i5 - 540 M), then you should have a good chance that the laptop would be compatible with this CPU... but I would not recommend these updates.

  Why?
  (1) you will not see any performance gain
  (2) you will lose the warranty

  I am looking to buy a Dell Inspiron 660 s for elements 11 running first. Here are the specs of the system:

  Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (pre 11 will run 64-bit as well)

  8 GB RAM

  1 TB 7200 RPM SATA hard drive

  I'll do the consumer editing with AVCHD video only. I don't have the power to launch After Effects or something like that, just first items 11, 64 - bit. I would like the program is very fluent, fast and smooth, but I have not exaggerated, as I'm only level casual consumer AVCHD editing, keying, rendered, Bo mixture, etc.

  Please let me know if these specs will allow me to run Adobe Premiere elements 11 smoothly to fit my needs (no more, no less).

  This looks like an excellent machine for editing AVCHD on, Mr. Filmeffects.

  In fact, you could probably run After Effects on that too if you want.

  A second hard drive for your media and project files you can always give an extra boost. But with current systems, it is not always necessary.

  It's good enough for a laptop. should work just fine. the gforce is a little slower than a desktop counterpart, but work remains.  I don't know if there are specific problems with cs6 and your equipment if.

  first of all, if you're going to retire this old computer or, at least, no longer use your adobe on this old computer programs, open and click Help > deactivate.

  then install your files to your new computer and activate.  If you already have an installation cd, you don't need to download.  If you don't have the installation files, download the trial and activate it with your order number.

  It of now on 18 May and still no news.  A call and a cat gave the answer that I should get an email in 2 days... nothing.

  How long does this process take?  My trial is running and I'll soon lose CS6.  I had usually a service of quality from Adobe, but now become very impatient, since there is no information forthcoming.  Push away me for 2 days at a time, this isn't the way to retain a customer for a long time.

  My feeling is that these 'claims' are simply ignored by Adobe.  Seems that they should wait for us, we received the email from them.  a few days ago, I received my email and completed the process of claim without ever making a request.

  With a bit of luck you should get your email address (which would have gotten you anyway without asking) in the coming days.  I'm sure they would not overwhelm their servers by sending email to everyone at once.

Remember to specify in your feature request why you think that a NLE needs a full 32-bpc, pipeline of high dynamic range color. Usually, this is only important and useful for the application of Visual effects and compositing, and not as much for an NLE.

  I recently bought a laptop which the model has been specified as a simple "450 HP".
  
  So my question is, my computer contains AMD graphics?
  I tried to install the AMD driver available on the HP site, but it has not been successful. (only intel HD4000 is displayed in Device Manager)
  
  its basic configuration is the following:
  
  3230 M I5
  HARD DRIVE 500 GB
  4 GB OF RAM

  But the processor does not match. one installed in the present is an i5, whereas the above specifications refer without exceeding i3.

  (he never mentioned material missing. it says ' warnings occurred during installation. ") (please see newspaper"but does not have the button"view log")
  
  The intel driver installed fine.
  In the device, under 'graphics adapters' Manager, is shown only the hd4000 intel.

  He is not quite sure what you mean with the desktop client, but if you mean that VMware Workstation or VMware Player, then Yes you can.
