A H. PH c:\IPH
Thank you!

Hi Dave,

IPH. The PH is apparently data that is used by the AOL client software to know how to communicate with the update server.

You can uninstall AOL if you do not use it and remove the HPI. PH file.

  • a new icon appers on tools on the toolbar after the Firefox update. It says not 'connected '. What is it? How to remove it?

After that I updated Firefox to ver.16.0.1, on the right side of the toolbar a small icon appeared! When I click this, it says no 'connected '. I tried to remove it using customize, but nothing happened, it's still there. I don't know what is it and how to remove it! Help me please! Thank you very much!

Try dragging this button in the toolbar palette.

Alternatively, you can check for problems with the file localstore.rdf.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do not click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.
  • Hibernation partition - what is - this? How to remove it?

I noticed there is a G 4 Partition on the C: drive called Hibernation Partition. It's a small SSD 128G, so space is at a premium. It doesn't even have a drive letter mapped to it so I can't imagine it being used somehow. Also, there's no hiberfil.sys in the c: drive and hibernation is not yet active (under windows), so I can't imagine what possible use this partition is.

I tried to remove it in the usual way using the disk management tool, but when I right click on the volume option is not at all to remove it as it is with the other volumes

Well the hibernation partition is usually a BACK not as FAT12 file system. You may need to use the diskpart command-line command to remove it. Here is an article that will help you:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/300415

List the partitions, and then select the hibernation partition and tries to remove it. Examples are given in the link above. Note the discussion of the substitution command that you can use with the delete partition command.

I would like to make a backup image of the entire hard drive prior to this however, just in case. If you do not want to Hibernate you don't need the hibernation partition. It is always the same size as the installed memory because to Hibernate, it writes the contents of the memory on the disk partition. I thought kind of hiberfil.sys had taken the place of suspension on disk, but obviously not.

  • What is c? How to remove (or difficulty)?

    Hello. APEX guru:

    Please run http://www.wellesley.edu/Directory/

next to the navigation bar to "print" and "logout" is "nobody" at the top right of the app. This is supposed to be variable corresponding to everything that is entered in the "Search" field on the left. It is now broken.

I'm trying to single out this 'person' instead of repair, however, I don't know where in the application. It is not in "shared component" as "navigation bar".

I don't think there's a page element. It must be something global because it appears on every page. It is also not in the shared component model or a theme.

Any clue? Any idea of this 'nobody '?

  • PhotoSmart more B210a: how to remove a ghost printer

I tried to install wireless a B210a on a home network. I finally gave up that effort, for reasons that I won't go into this thread. I decided to go back to a USB connection. First of all, a bit of history.

This printer has been used in this household for about 3 years. A person who had knowledge a bit these things here performed the installation, and it never got the connection wireless set up. This person is now out of the picture, and I was managing IT chores.

My first step was to uninstall the printer and try again. Before I did, I noticed he seemed to have two instances of the B210a on the system, but in devices and printers, one of the icons has been grayed out. I deleted both. I also deleted all programs HP printer software.

Now, I have reinstalled the printer with a USB connection. I found it weird that the printer installed as 'HP PhotoSmart Plus B210 Series (copy 1)', but I let that slide. I opened a Word document for a series of tests. In the print dialog box, I was surprised to see two lists of the same printer again! See the additional printer with exactly the same name, less stuff "(copie 1) '." To add to the confusion, it also displays a message: ' error - remove: 3 documents pending. "

Huh? What happens here? How to remove these three documents, and how do I get rid of the ghost printer?

Hello and welcome to the community of HP @Caesar1948,

I understand that you are having trouble installing your HP Photosmart Plus. I'll be happy to help you.

To resolve the error message "error - delete: 3 documents pending ', below, I've posted a link to a document that offers solutions of troubleshooting on this issue.

Regarding the 'Phantom' printer, see the link below. This document provides instructions on how to uninstall the printer software and remove the printer from the list of devices.

Please try all the steps in order and get back to me with the results. If this helps will testify for my answer before hitting the 'thumbs up' below, or c lick the 'Accept as Solution' button if I helped you reach a solution.

I hope this helps and have a nice day.

    Hello

Hoping that someone knows about it and can help.

I picked up a Trojan horse detected by Malwarebytes (Trojan.fakeMS), but this malware program can't remove. Whenever I run the program it identifies Trojan horse and when I select removal, said Malwarebytes successfully deleted and restart to finish the uninstallation. • What is the order of the removal of the songs to an iPod Classic syncing > somehow my laptop has started the process of synchronization without my knowledge and removed approximately 2,000 songs of my iPod classic. How can I identify which were delete

What is the order of the removal of the songs to an iPod Classic syncing > somehow my laptop has started the process of synchronization without my knowledge and removed approximately 2,000 songs of my iPod classic. How can I identify which were deleted songs? I always manually move files to prevent this. I'm on Windows 10.

Has no way to know that...

If your library iTunes music fits on the storage space of 160 GB of your iPod classic, you just set to automatically sync your entire library of music. Then, it won't matter which has been removed and which do not get deleted, because your iPod music library is the same as your library iTunes music. And iTunes it keeps this way, every time your iPod connection (or click sync , if already connected).

If you don't want "everything" in your iTunes library on your iPod (understandable), you can create a playlist in your iTunes library with all the songs you want on the iPod. Then, set to automatically synchronize the playlist to iPod. Instead of manually managing iPod, you manually manage playlist in your iTunes library. The iPod has no need to be connected. The next time you connect the iPod (or click sync , if already connected), iTunes will update the iPod with the same changes. The big advantage is, if something happens like what you describe, or needs to restore iPod (erased) or even if break you your iPod (and get a new), need you a few mouse clicks to solve the problem. Just set it up to sync the same playlist once again, which exists in your library iTunes (not only on the iPod).

You can post back for more information about how to use automatic synchronization to do what you want more easily, go ahead.
