  Hi, I use Premiere Pro to make a short film, but I have a problem that is boring. I use the software normally but then sometimes (seemingly randomly) the window right reading (I don't know how it's called) freezes on ongoing frame, but continues to play the audio. even move the playhead does not work, this same image is just stuck in the playback window. After a few minutes he rights himself, but clearly, this is an annoying problem. It's may be normal because I work with 1080 p images but my PC is powerful enough, it seemed strange to me.   Have a player is by far the biggest bottleneck in your current system. You would be probably a good idea to add a disk 7200 RPM, 2 or 3 to your system as soon as POSSIBLE. Indeed, having a single drive in your system not yet satisfied minimum standard specifications for Adobe.

  Second, a 1 GB + GTX 460 or better video card would benefit from Assembly work and drastically reduce the requirement for rendering. This could probably be considered optional if you don't mind waiting for one made while working.

  Thirdly, more RAM, 8 to 16 would help some, but probably especially when you are out on DVD or Blu - ray. While you seem inclined to do this first, my suggestion would be to make this last. You can monitor your use of the RAM while you are woking by using the Task Manager tool and see how much you actually use for your workflow. And, if you use 100% of your RAM, now, this isn't probably holding you as the bottlenecks of disc and video.

  I did no editing for a few years and suddenly received (for me), a difficult task. I have now just finished editing a wedding shot with 4 video cameras (I took a few videos and other formats have been those who shot at random), in the first 14 elements. The formats of the clips are also different. The final step is to merge these files so that I can make both BD and DVD.

  I initially purchased Premiere Pro for editing, using Pinnacle for years, but I was struggling too much with the Pro and the different formats of the clips, add music, overlapping, etc. Then I bought elements and was very uncomfortable with the Expert mode. I think that I am now ready to start using Pro.

  3. Codec: AVC; Variable bit rate; Bit rate: 24 Mbps; 1920 x 1080i. Frame rate: 25 fps; Sound: AAC; Bitrate 96 Kbps

  I tried to read as many threads as possible in this regard, but couldn't find much on the internet and most son/tutorials are quite old and refer to previous versions of Premiere Elements. I tried to merge it with Premiere Pro, after reading this (https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/importing-sequences-clip-lists-libraries.html; ( http://www.mediacollege.com/adobe/premiere/pro/import/), but I've struggled, as in the two references, it was either too little info or the guideline was not clear to me.

  I also saw wires on clipboard Extender (ClipMate and Spartan Lite) https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1148100 I downloaded Spartan Lite, but that seemed pretty confusing.

  I'm very uncomfortable to use intermediate files (https://forums.adobe.com/thread/875797?tstart=0) that I have enough space on my drive hard, but made a loose quality? On the other hand, I suppose it might be good for me to start using Premiere Pro now.

  What is the current consensus?

  Then I have another question and I don't know if I need to open a new thread for this. As I have shown above, the clips have all different characteristics and some files prel are save as 1440 x 1080 (where the scene starts with a clip of nr 4, others like 1920 x 1080) I guess I should have converted clips all to the same specification before editing, but I did not. There was so much work involved in this process that I can't think to change to a format and replace them current clips, etc. With the rendering, the different specifications will be a problem?

  One last question - I guess I just need to go to the BD and DVD specifications, or should I also realize the whole project in a format without loss of keep for possible future use?

  Another option is to use Cineform, who is a Visual lossless codec and produces smaller files means then Lagarith.

  Download Gopro Studio and install.

  This will give you the codec.

  Oh, you're new! I highly recommend to go through something like that, first. He will be using AE a lot more fun and a lot less frustrating.

  You can use Dynamic Link in first to import an After Effects project, but I find that it is much simpler to just an intermediate file (using a codec of production, of course) of the queue of EI and just import into Premiere Pro. In this way, you don't have to wait for first make the AE project every time. Popular intermediate codecs include Cineform DNxHD QuickTime with the PNG codec and QuickTime with the Photo-JPEG codec.

  I use Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 on a MacBook Air. (I use an external hard drive for files and the project, don't worry). I'm editing an average movie film I already filmed and stored on my hard drive, however the audio is missing part of a clip when I open it in the program. When I play the original video in QuickTime format, the sound is fine. In Premiere Pro, the audio works at the beginning of the clip, then it just suddenly stops at a certain point and does not return. It stops at the same place everytime I play it. I tried to open Bars and tones, and I hear the tone very well. I tried to look at the audio mixer Panel, and nothing is cut or a smaller volume. I double checked to see if the clip is on and it is indeed turned on. As far as I know, there is no other clips blocking audio somehow. I tried to cut the video with the razor tool to see if he wanted to kickstart audio feedback, still nothing. I tried to change the name of the video. MTS of. AVI (tip, I found online), no change. I have really no idea what is the problem, or why the audio is missing. And I don't understand why it affects only part of the clip. The clip is around 10 - ish minutes and audio works for about the first ten seconds, then stops.
