  You can not download the factory image - you're supposed to have prepared a recovery media when you first received the system.  If you have not, you CAN download Windows (from Digital River) and do a manual installation - but if you are looking for the original image, which must be obtained from Dell.  It is free during the warranty, but there is a cost of about $50 if your warranty has expired.

  As shared earlier, I found a few references online where the users were able to use successfully the GTX 650 with 350W power supply. However, if you run demanding or graphics intensive applications requiring treatment capabilities more heavy system, it will lead to a power load. In such a case, the system could overheat and even stop abruptly for lack of power. The results are uncertain and could cause damage to one of the components including the motherboard, CPU, or hard drive.

  The required power cannot be calculated only video card. It depends also processor, no. memory, hard drives, optical drives connected, internal expansion cards or external peripheral attached to the system. During my research, I found that various manufacturers of power supplies have a tool of calculator of electric supply on their Web sites that you can use to calculate PSU for your system requirements. One such example is here.

  Note: The link above is only for reference purposes. Dell has not tested or subscribed to these tools.

  The power computed by tool is approximate energy required by your system. In my personal experience, I have observed that the power supplies can not operate at 100% efficiency. If we take efficiency PSU to be around 70-75% and that if the tool calculates your condition of approximately 300W system power, need you a power supply at least 300 * 100/75 = 400W.   If you try to upgrade, windows 10 copies files and then in the 2nd of three main sections of the upgrade (where you have this big circle in the middle of the screen), it just goes to a blank screen and then ceases all activity of the disc, and it becomes well hung.   Of course, now the machine think operating system is win 10 and you cannot return to a recovery point 7 win.  If you lost all of your data and applications and restore the image and then install the windows 7 208 updates and it takes like 8 hours total.

  Looks like a similar problem that people with Vostro ranging from win 7 to win 8.   Why not fix it.

  Also, I fell into the same rabbit hole. But I realized quickly that it was a video problem and I hung on an alternative to the unit's LCD monitor... worked just fine, there has been able to do the update of bio and play with the drivers.

  I recommend you to try the following steps to check the USB ports. First of all I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling concentrators root USB from Device Manager. Please follow the steps below to reinstall the USB root hubs:

  • Click Start, in start search type Device Manager and press ENTER.
  • Expand Bus USB controllers.
  • Right-click every device under the Bus USB controllers node and then click on uninstall to remove them one at a time.

  This is false, as a greater power supply and can be installed.

  Generic standard ATX power supplies, with a 24-pin or 20 + power connector 4 - pin main motherboard, with or without the on/off switch, would be compatible with the Vostro 220 Mini-Tower.

  You should be able to buy a compatible power supply either a local computer or online store.

  Need a power supply with four SATA power connectors.
