  The feature you're looking for in FM9 is called "Workspaces." Your workspace is selected by using the dropdown in the top right of the window of FM, left minimize/maximize/close buttons. Simply set up the workspace exactly how you like it by opening the dialog boxes (or "pods") you use regularly, close the pods, you have not, fusion as the pods together as you wish, and moving everything exactly where you want. At this time, click this menu workspace and select "Save the workspace."
