What is the difference between A1286 Top case 2009-2012

I want to replace the top box of my MBP mid 2012 non-retine.

Every part of my Mac works fine, I am only looking for the top box (palmrest) and maybe one downstairs.

So my question is: are they all the same (except for keyboard)?

  • What is the difference between 'Photos' and 'All of them'?

I migrated to iPhoto to picture several months ago.  I also stored pictures in iCloud.  I have about 8 000 photos.

On the Photo, there is a file in the upper left corner labeled "pictures".  Under the Albums, there is an another Doggie labelede "All Photos".   A lot of photos in "All Photos" and not in "Photos".   I also have a lot of iPhoto events listed.  A lot of photos in the folder "Pictures" are not in the folder "pictures".   What can someone tell me the difference between these two cases?  They are obviously different.

'Photos' brings together the photos and displays at the top of each group a place and date (month and day only, no year).    "All Photos" has a beginning and end date day, month, year.  But nothing else that a continuous string of pictures without separation, titles or dates.  The start date is not correct.

I find pictures more confusing and difficult to know how to navigate around.  I guess the 'Pictures' folder is the pictures on iCloud?  (Is there a download button on the lower left corner of each photo).

they are not records - Photos is your library and is sorted by the date photo number - it can show the years or collections or moments

All Photos is a special photo album and is sorted by the date, the photos are added to Photos

Unless you have a corrupt library all in all Photos is also in pictures and numbers are the same

If you use iCLoud library then your library is synchronized via iCLoud to all devices so seeing pictures is the same as the iCLoud.com view and like on every IOS device or another Mac using ICPL under the same Apple ID

  • What is the difference between Apple Watch sport and Apple Watch?

What is the difference between Apple Watch Sport42mm space aluminum case gray with Strip black sports and Apple Watch 42 mm space with black Sport band black steel box?

    Hi Mathias

There is no difference in the features of the software or the specifications of internal material between the Apple Watch models (with the exception of a few faces of exclusive watch on Apple Watch Hermès).

The only differences are the materials used - including watch boxes, tapes, and views.

For example: Apple Watch Sport models are designed to be as light as possible, using aluminum and glass aluminosilicate for the screen. Apple Watch models use heavy stainless steel case and sapphire glass for the screen.

Your best option may be to make an appointment to try on Apple Watch in an Apple Store, see and feel the difference.

  • Tecra A2 - what is the difference between the cooling modules Tecra A8?

    Hello

I have Tecra A2 and my fan is almost 'dead '. So I think to buy a new one.

    And here my question:
"What are the differences between Fans (P000401740) A2 and A8 (P000463770) for example?"

Because despite the construction of the "rotor" as well as details of construction of the case they seem to be exactly the same.
If I buy this A8, it would work with my laptop?

    Kind regards
    Christopher

    Hello

I m not very well what s the difference between these two modules of cooling but the fact is that the motherboards are just different and I doubt that a cooling module that was not designed specifically for the Tecra A2 series would correspond with A2 motherboard and case.

That's why I recommend buying a cooling module which has been designed especially for this series!
I think you can order the Toshiba ASP.

  • What is the difference between AXIEM and EMSIght? What are the benefits of AXIEM by EMSight if any?

I wonder what are the differences between AXIEM and EMSight. Are associated with application? One is better than the other? Please explain.

AWR estimated AXIEM most powerful plan EM Simulator around.   AXIEM is at the center of continuous research and improvement, while EMSight is only worked on if revealed serious flaws.  Here is a summary of the differences:

    Mesh

    • EMSight must mesh the nearest grid drivers using rectangles.  This causes the mesh to have more elements mesh when there are small and large geometries.  The grid should be small enough to capture the small geometry but then causes large geometries to mesh more.   In addition, angled or curved structures causes inefficiencies mesh.

    • AXIEM STS forms, rather than a grid.  In addition, the mesh can be rectangle or triangle.   This allows a much more efficient mesh.   AXIEM generally have a much more efficient

    • AXIEM contains the ability to process forms to clean geometries that cause inefficiencies of the mesh.  EMSight does not have this feature.

    • AXIEM can forms thick metal mesh, EMSight can not, and user must make approximations when thick metal will change coupling (loss is recorded properly with the thickness of the metal)

    Ports

    • The ports are for the most part similar, but parasites due on AXIEM ports are less.  In addition, the AXIEM has a side wall, thus the effects of not move of the terms of reference of the edge of the line are a lot less AXIEM in.

    • Ports can be added to most any place in geometry with AXIEM.  For EMSight, the ports are usually only added outside the geometry and have limitations to the aircraft on either side of the reference speaker.

    Problem solvers

    • EMSight does not have a low frequency Solver.  Stop low-frequency and then extrapolate to DC.  This usually works well, but you must take into account if the extrapolation is accurate.  AXIEM presents both a low and high frequency Solver so will do better in a low frequencies generally much better in DC.

    • Solver of EMSight scales O (n) ^ 2 for memory and O (n) ^ 3 for the moment.   It has a special algorithm to break the question of memory, but the question of time is the killer.  AXIEM has a direct Solver which scales in the same way and an iterative Solver which will scale O (nlogn).   In other words, AXIEM can solve a lot of bigger problems than EMSight.

    • Several AXIEM processes are multithreaded as EMSight.

    Speaker

    • EMSight is inside a perfect driver side wall.   This works well if you the circuit is in the same cavity.  If not, you must know the rules of them on to the forms of space of the flanks and how that much to extend the port could reference planes.   AXIEM is not here.   AXIEM does not currently have to simulate a perfect driver side wall.

I don't know that I missed a few aspects of the tools.   From the point of view of the AWR that AXIEM is the tool of choice, except in a few cases have been EMSight may be required.

  • What is the difference between the KING and ACQWINDOW regarding the attributes of the camera?

There are two sets of attributes for, left, top, width, and height.

    For example, there

    IMG_ATTR_ROI_WIDTH vs IMG_ATTR_ACQWINDOW_WIDTH

    MG_ATTR_ROI_HEIGHT vs IMG_ATTR_ACQWINDOW_HEIGHT

What are the differences between the KING and ACQWINDOW?

    Thank you.

    Hi sunspotzsz!

Vision consists of two main steps: acquisition and image processing.  IMG_ATTR_ACQWINDOW_WIDTH would the acquisition, and IMG_ATTR_ROI_WIDTH should be part of the treatment.  Therefore, if you set the ACQWINDOW_WIDTH to 100 so that numbers all pixels that are acquired will be set to 100, and they will be stored in a buffer.  ROI_WIDTH will use an image that is already in memory and 'zoom' so that the only part of the image you are watching / treatment.

  • What is the difference between a backup of the plant and a recovery disk?

For me a simple question, so I hope a simple answer.

When I got to my laptop that I created a USB using DBR recovery. It is a little more than 8 GB in size and is appointed SYSRECOVERY.

At that time there I didn't create a backup of the plant.

Having recently been read on things related to the re-establishment of a system in case of disk failure hard etc, I saw that Dell has said you must create USB recovery media and a backup of the plant. So, I got a new USB and today created a backup of the plant.

Looking at it, it is also called SYSRECOVERY and both have exactly the same list of files and folders and have almost the same size.

So just what is the difference between these 2 options (if any)?

Or do I now have 2 USBs that will do exactly the same work to restore my laptop computer provided that the factory?

Case there is no difference, why Dell offer both (and recommend you create both)?

    Thank you

Technically speaking a recovery media and backup of the plant are the same. But according to the post that you saw at Dell, recovery media is a backup of backup from the factory with the files and applications that you added later. Therefore, to be on the safe side, Dell recommends to create a backup of files and software that have been added later (or is not part of the default configuration).

The factory backup contains all drivers and software according to the configuration of the PC, and that were pre-installed on your computer.

Generally, Windows failure, you can use factory backup media to restore the PC without affecting your personal files and software. In the event of hard disk failure, where the hard drive is replaced, recovery media will be useful to restore Windows as well your files and applications.

  • What is the difference between a version of MAR and the software win7 INKL?

What is the difference between a version of MAR and the software win7 INKL?

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    • What exactly you're talking about when you say, 'Version INKL of Windows 7?

I'll be happy to answer your query, however, please explain more about abbreviation INKL. There is a version called Office of ink that is used in the Tablet PC.

Here's the other version of Windows, you can make reference to:

    MAR - Microsoft Authorized Reacondicionador

A new PC requires a version of windows with a new key license installed if purchased from a manufacturer.

A refurbished PC is allowed to use an existing product key (2nd hand if you like) as long as it is always delivered with a certificate of authenticity (COA). This is referred to as MAR (Microsoft authorized Reacondicionador) which means that Microsoft allows to use existing keys/licenses products.

Buy a version of windows means MAR technically you buy a second hand copy - being however, software, so it comes with COST, will make absolutely no difference at all.

    N and KN editions

The features in N and KN Editions are the same full versions of their equivalent, but do not include Windows Media Player or other technologies related to Windows Media, such as Windows Media Center and Windows DVD Maker because of the limits set by the European Union and South Korea, respectively. The cost of n and KN Editions are the same as the full versions, as the Media Feature Pack for Windows 7 N and Windows 7 KN can be downloaded for free from Microsoft.

    Generations of VL

VL builds work with VLK (volume license key). Volume license keys can be used to activate multiple installations of the software without a mechanism (for example, a product activation mechanism) controls the total number of facilities. The license for the software is going to impose restrictions on the use of the key. In general, the license will limit the key to a certain number of facilities which must be only the Organization of the licensee and also to place the holder under the obligation to keep a record of the number of facilities, hold confidential and perhaps even require that the holder organization makes available for a software license check check that his use of the key is in the terms of the license.

Please let us know what exactly are you referring to when you say version INKL of Windows 7, so we can further research and answer.

Hope this information is useful. Please feel free to answer in the case where you are facing in the future other problems with Windows.

  • What is the difference between win 7 pro DSP OEI DVD and the OEM or normal Full pack?

    1. What is the difference between win 7 pro DSP OEI DVD and the pack OEM or normal Full we learned normally?
    2. does DSP OEI DVD comes with CD of instalation?

These versions are for small integrators (DSP = 'partners in enforcement service'), which usually contain a single Windows (1pk = 32-bit or 64-bit, not both as in commercial versions) and an OEM preinstallation kit to preconfigure Windows and/or integrate additional tools (OEI = 'Installation of Original equipment' or 'Integration organizational environment'). They have the same limitations that versions OEM = license is tied to the computer where the operating system has been installed initially and not transferable in case of death of the machine. Not really, its just style the element to look like what you would expect a "miniature" to look like.

  • What is the difference between POS and VSC? Which should I use?

    Hello

Turns out we have a multitude of backup running for our virtual machine environment. We lack vCenter 6.0, 6.1 VDP, VSC 6.2P1, SnapManager for SQL and SnapMirror jobs put in place in OnCommand 3.1.2.

I go crazy trying to pierce the need to have all these products running of backups and snapmirroring data. Bottom line, our SnapMirrors for one or two Volumes take f o r e v e r... And that impacts my tests of SRM (when you use the replication of data).

I'm trying to clean up, he perfected down, consolidation, re-scheduling and friction on all these solutions. And in the middle of my panic, I thought that "these all do essentially the same thing? Taking snapshots and SnapMirroring data? »

So, my question to the community is, what is the difference between these solutions, or are they all essentially do the same thing? They confront each other, vying for the band width and stumbling on them to achieve the same thing? Right now my plan is to suspend all work of everything except VSC and SnapManager for SQL and do all this from VSC. This means suspend jobs in NetApp services.

I'm not the admin for POS, it is my co-worker, so he who installed independently of my work. Is it still necessary?

What brought me to all of this, besides the failure of MRS to transfer data (SnapMirror on request within a reasonable time) was noting the deltas for our work of snapshot is always huge at certain times of the day. For example, our biggest pork of data has a light snapshot at midnight, and he is constantly 71GB. This leads me to believe that this is a job, because it is predictable. The net effect is SnapMirror jobs take days, latency are several days and transfers has never really stop.

We plan to upgrade our pipe between our protected Site (HQ) and our DR Site (branch) of 50mbps at 100 Mbps. We have 100 out of our headquarters and 50 in our satellite TV right now, so we want to both be 100. Maybe that would solve the issue, but I still would be pretty effective.

If you need more information, let me know and I will fill you, or less make up something so I look like I know what I'm talking about.

    TIA!

    Steve

The reason why you do SnapMirror replication is DR. It is not a backup solution. If you stop all your SnapMirrors in OnCommand Unified Manager and your storage array, the production goes down, you no longer have a DR.

What does VSC is, it creates snapshots of your NetApp volumes, you can use for short term backup/recovery. The snapshots are not a real backup solution, however. If someone deletes a volume on the NetApp snapshots of this volume will not save you because they no longer exist. But they are still useful in many scenarios, such as Previous Versions of Microsoft CIFS options.

SnapManager aims to make consistent snapshots of demand for software such as MS SQL in your case. Instant database do not give you this ability, as they do not trigger the VSS suspension. More SnapManager for SQL gives you point in the ability to recover in time for your databases to SQL transaction logs, which provide none of the solutions above. However, as SnapManager creates snapshots, you must make sure that you have dedicated LUN for you SQL VM, otherwise you will be taking snapshots of the same volumes twice.

And now VDP makes backups of your environment. It supports long-term retention, as snapshots in general are not kept for more than one week or one month. Make sure that the data are stored on a separate volume from where are your virtual machines. Or ideally to a destination that is external to your storage group.

Hope that clears things up a bit. The result is, what you have is perfectly fine.

  • What is the difference between making a site inactive and end provider, provider dating site?

    Hello

There are 3 ways to make a provider site unavailable for use in R12?

Accounts payable Manager > search provider, and then click address book

    (1) click the button remove

    2) click on "Update" and change the status to "inactive."

    3) click on 'Manage the Sites' and fixed the date passed in 'inactive Date '.

What is the difference between them and what are the advantages and disadvantages of each.

    Kind regards

    Mindy

Pros to delete: If there were human errors while accessing a supplier Site and if they are to be discarded then you can use this option. By example, bad provider Siite imported sources via interfaces or data conversion.

Cons to delete: Auditors will be unhappy because the record is no more.

Pros from inactive: Consider a scenario in which a provider of on-site audit has arrived and the audit found non-compliance with the operations of the Site to a specific provider. In such a case, that your company has decided to not not to create one more (or business) transactions with the Site Supplier up to what the provider meets the policies agreed contractual and accounts gives a green signal. And this is where you use 'inactive' for simply inactivate the vendor Site and then reactivate after passing a second check.

Cons of idle: You not save the date to which it has been inactivated. However the database captures the "last_update_date" column (which is not useful unless you have activated the check feature).

Pros inactive Date: Consider a scenario in which your provider had a warehouse in Auckland. But now they have closed the warehouse and moved to China. In this case, you always want to maintain previous transactions in the system, as well as from the point of view of the audit after inactivating you add some comments here. This is where the functionality of 'inactive date' will be very convenient in which you show clearly in the system when the site became inactive (and the reason for this action).

    I hope this helps.

  • What is the difference between the layers of the merger, flatten the layers & merge down?

What is the difference between the layers of the merger, flatten the layers & merge down?  How can I know which to use?

Flatten makes them your image into one with a background color, regardless of the color is in your color chart 2 in the toolbar (foreground/background).  Merge Visible and merge down is like that... they flatten the image, they just composite whatever you choose.  If you merge down, it takes a top and a bottom.  If you are merge visible to all those with the eyeball of visibility 'on' and composites them.  The main thing is that they don't flatten your image, so if you have layers with transparency transparency is preserved.  Flatten transparency of deletes it.
