What is the difference between the size of the canvas & Image size?

What is the difference between the size of the canvas and the size of the image in Photoshop?

A picture says more, I changed the size of the canvas (Transparent background) and the image to the left to the bottom right:

Now you can use the space on the left and on the top of the image to add other objects or images.

Please, can someone tell me the difference between satego and satellite?

The difference between the Satellite and the Satego is the same as the difference between the Satellite and the satellite ;)

The difference is a portable computer name, but of course not all series are equipped with the same parts and peripherals!
So it's not easy to say what are the exact differences between the single computer laptop series. Simply check the descriptions

  • What is a difference between 'Logical processors' and 'logical processors for each host?

    Hi all!

In the official document VMware "vsphere-51-configuration-maxima" or "vsphere-55-configuration - maximums.pdf" in the section "ESXi host maximum rates------Maximums calculation" exists in the elements:

    "Maximum CPU------logical CPU for each host ' (vSphere 5.1: 160;)   vSphere 5.5: 320)

    and

    "Machine virtual maximums------virtual CPU by host ' (vSphere 5.1: 2048;)    vSphere 5.5: 4096)

Question: what is the difference between the two?

And a more complex thing to maximum rates:

    Virtual machines per host: 512

Number of hosts per cluster: 32

Therefore, the cluster may be Virtual Machines (maximum): 521 * 32 = 16384

But in the document, we have only 4000 VMs in maximum.

    Why?

    Thank you

    Ramirez,

I understand your question as difference between 1. logic virtual CPU vs / by the hosts and 2. cluster/host Max County VM.

    Consider the case below;

    2 servers ESXi - 20 mV

    ESXi taken 1-4, 2 cores / socket

    ESXi 2-8 Sockets, 2 cores / socket

    Now here number of CPU logic-(4 x 2) + (8 x 2) = 24

    20 virtual machines - 2 jacks, 2 core / socket

    Virtual CPU count - 20 x (2 * 2) = 80

Hope your first confusion is clear now.

And a more complex thing to maximum rates:

    Virtual machines per host: 512

Number of hosts per cluster: 32

Therefore, the cluster may be Virtual Machines (maximum): 521 * 32 = 16384

But in the document, we have only 4000 VMs in maximum.

    Why?

This means that even if you have 32 Guest and each host can accommodate 512 VMs each the maximum number of virtual machines per cluster may not exceed 4000. And it does not mean that you can have a maximum of VMS (512 * 32).

  • Satellite A200 - 17 PSAE0E: what is a difference between 1.5 & 1.8 BIOS

I just bought satellite A200 - 17 (PSAE0E) and BIOS in my machine is v1.50.
On this page, I noticed later BIOS is 1.80 so I wonder what changes are there between these two BIOS?
At the moment I am on Linux (ubuntu 7.10) as my OS and having two or three ACPI related problems so I can use the information on these changes.

    Hello

Sorry to say, but as far as I know BIOS changes are not published on the page of Toshiba.
I find some details about the driver Toshiba we page but nothing on the European driver Toshiba page.

I guess that it s a part of politics.

  • the canvas image size vs. size?

    Hi all

using a mac pro intel 10.6.7 and photoshop elements 9.0, I seem to be a problem...

When the 9 elements is open in the main window and a picture is open, I develop the magnification to 100% when I use the "home" button, rather than go to the upper left of the pix, he goes to the outer edge of the canvas too extended.  same problem with the "end" key

I put the size of the canvas and the sizes of the images several times, of the same sizes, but I can't o rid the extra canvas?

    Thank you!!!

  • Panoramic of document while smaller than the canvas image?

    Hello

In normal display tabbed mode, whenever the zoom level is smaller than the canvas size, it seems that the Pan is not allowed. I had actually fallen on for Photoshop CC workaround before that, but he had lost the info after a re - install. I have for the panorama as shown with a screen of small image with just the SPACEBAR button before that.

Can someone show me how to do this again? Maybe some parameters of its file change or something?

If update or download photoshop cc2014.2.0, there is a new preference that allows to enable/disable the module

  • What is the collection "Images Lightroom" on Mobile with Lightroom?

Every time I synchronize a collection with my Android all synchronized seem to be automatically added to a collection/folder (?) called «Lightroom Photos» Even after I stop a collection of synchronisation all photos will remain visible in the section 'Photos Lightroom'. How can I stop this? Being given "Lightroom photos" is not a true collection (and also not visible in the desktop application but only on my adroid) I can't remove it or do something else with it. All the options I have are "add photo" and "Start slide show".

Mobile Lightroom is just an opinion and should not be confused with the Collections.

Try to add an image to your desktop in a collection that is also synchronized with mobile phone.

You should find the image in the collection on your mobile phone once synchronized, and it will also appear in the display of photos of Lr.

  • What is the HP Digital Imaging Monitor? Apply to my operating system, Windows 7?

What is the HP Digital Imaging Monitor? Apply to my operating system, Windows 7? I want to remove the icon from the task bar (toolbar in the lower right corner of the screen) that I never use it.

Picardjc wrote that "Digital imaging monitor is part of the HP software that communicates with your HP printer. This program allows to read the inklevels, get an out of paper message, scan from the device to the computer and so on. It is not necessary, but it will restrict the use of printers if you delete. "Understood. But for my printer HP Officejet Pro 8000 A809a, what is the purpose of having the digital imaging monitor icon in the taskbar Windows7 sp1 of the Notification area (aka system tray)? My A809a is NOT an all-in-one that includes a scanner; It is simply a very good printer. When I start to print something, if you need ink or paper, that information is displayed on the screen of my computer. So I ask again: why is the icon of monitor digital imaging on the taskbar? I clicked on at the time of this icon (I not print anything, but as usual, the printer is turned on), and nothing happened. R.N. (Roger) Folsom _ P.S. below I'll post some other discussions (with links to their locations) of the digital imaging monitor, I discovered before finding this site on which I am writing. There are a variety of opinions on what makes the digital imaging monitor. HP Digital Imaging Monitor is for HP director system tray access. This is necessary if you want to use the buttons of all-in-one on a HP printer all in one to scan documents or transfer photos from a camera manually. Closing the icon monitor HP digital imaging in the Windows system tray can cause the HP all-in-one to lose part of its scanning features and not the connection error message. In this case, you can restore all functionality by restarting the computer or by starting the HP digital imaging monitor. [Edited] 03/08/2011 14:05 - edited? 03/08/2011 14:08 Yes, it is safe to remove. In my view, it is usually in the program group under start / all programs / startup. Simply navigate under the Start button, right-click on it and delete! If it is not there, then remove it from the registry: run regedit and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and delete it from the list in the right pane. If she is not there, then try hkey_current_user\\software\\microsoft\\windows\\currentversion\\run it's better than using msconfig and uncheck it. In my opinion, msconfig must always be set to Normal startup. Your printer will always print without that annoying obstructive utility called Digital Imaging Monitor. Ciao! • difference between materailized and a table

    Hey hiii

I want to know what is a difference between a materialized view and that is to say a table suppose I create a table and another table B on the table, I created a trigger that will download all changes made to A, it IE insert, update or delete while it will perform all actions that a materialized view can perform on one or is there a difference between them

    Thks

In this case, MView will be much more robust and reliable, because it is designed for that you use coding the trigger. You will manage all possible exceptions and lock the trigger claim everything is Oracle build-in MView. And also, MView can be much more powerful.

  • The canvas rotation?

Which versions of Photoshop Elements supports the canvas Rotation tool? (If there is no PE that supports the tool, want someone to recommend me to another product from Adobe that "can't" stand?) A reason I ask this, is because I am a user of graphics tablet and it has come to my attention than most others I know who use other arty programs to design their comics of web graphics. Have some form of rotation of the canvas tool. Makes things ten times more for the traditional artist doing their job without doubt. But another reason, I want to know because I've been sticking with Photoshop Elements 8.0 since... For like... Forever at least. And again - I feel forced while his time, I took what was my PE 8.0. And then big step towards upgrading EP 13.

I would have thought PE8 can rotate the canvas/image, but I can't test it because I don't have it.  In PSE10, 11, 12, 13 & TI is done by going to:

    Image > rotate

you will see options for 90 left, 90, 180 and custom ===>> these are very simple, but you can also get a lot more options.  It's just a matter of the use of each of them and see that it fits your needs.  I don't know it can be done otherwise, a graphics package is useless if it can't do simple things like the rotation of a picture or an image layer.

To rotate the entire canvas, simply select the entire image and then try to turn it.  Make sure that you have performed the copy of the image, just in case you're wrong.

    Good luck.
