the canvas image size vs. size?

Hi all

using a mac pro intel 10.6.7 and photoshop elements 9.0, I seem to be a problem...

When the 9 elements is open in the main window and a picture is open, I develop the magnification to 100% when I use the "home" button, rather than go to the upper left of the pix, he goes to the outer edge of the canvas too extended.  same problem with the "end" key

I put the size of the canvas and the sizes of the images several times, of the same sizes, but I can't o rid the extra canvas?

Thank you!!!

David

Arrange > float all widows seems to help.  You may need to float in the preferences.

    "Could not complete the command image size because that file name is not valid"

    Thank you!

    I had the same problem with you and tried to look around, but I solved it myself. One or two layers created by the insertion of your library which have been uploaded to the server cloud.

    When you open the file, you can see the warning as "recreate a link... blah blah your file" If reject you the message, you can still work on it, but you cannot resize, or drag all layers to other new file (tried).

    Everything you need that discovering the layers that are related to the server delegating and delete it. FACT.

  • Is there a way to return to the window "Image size" traditional?

    In the new CC in Photoshop, there is a new window simplified "image size."

    I would like to return to the previous mode. If I change straight pixels or measurements, taken a pop up.

    We do print and web, so sometimes you need pixels, you need sometimes inches or mm. But we used change them in right way, now you must choose via pop-up. This differs from the workflow.

    There is no way to return to the classic Image size box. You will need to use a previous version of photoshop for this.

  • The actual Image size

    First of all, thanks to Jongware to provide this useful script.

    I found the script in this of created by Jongware (see link below). Its working fine.

    http://forums.Adobe.com/message/4329277#4329277

    But I need small changes in there.

    This script allows to save a report that contains the name of the image and the size.

    Can I get the size of the actual image in pica by this script.

    For example:

    The actual image size is 29p0.75 x 11p11.356

    Currently written script size is 29.1 x 11.9 pt.

    He change this so that it gives the size of acutal pica, 29p0.75 x 11p11.36.

    Thank you

    Kerosk

    Be warned that what you call "the actual image size" is always rounded to * some * degree. As you can see in the value returned by the script of Trevor, InDesign is accurate up to 13 or 14 digits, and I doubt that you would like to see all of them.

    In any case, the problem occurs because pica is not a decimal unit - they are in fact "duodecimal" (base 12). Using points as the basis of measurement, dividing the result by 12 and then showing * only * three significant figures leads to the same screen as in InDesign:

    //DESCRIPTION:Write image size report
    // A Jongware Script 21-mar-2013
    var hmu = app.activeDocument.viewPreferences.horizontalMeasurementUnits,
            vmu =  app.activeDocument.viewPreferences.verticalMeasurementUnits;
    app.activeDocument.viewPreferences.horizontalMeasurementUnits = app.activeDocument.viewPreferences.verticalMeasurementUnits = MeasurementUnits.POINTS;
    res = [];
    imgs = app.activeDocument.allGraphics;
    unitname = getCurrentUnit();

  • Get the necessary image size

    Very disappointed in the horses thanks to Adobe. Has been forced to take what we had to do this. Image quality is not at all like the previous program. Impossible to say what the image size is until buy you it and I need to cover and 3 inches at 72 pixels does not cut. Very very disappointed and aggravated.

    All the images once they are allowed are 300 dpi. The details of image for each image page shows you the pixel dimensions. Simply divide by 300 and you have your size in inches. If these images are vector (.ai) they do not have a dpi, as they can be resized as high or low as you like in Illustrator.

    As you can see in the screenshot below, the dimensions are 4365 x 4015 then the size of the image would be 14.55 x 13.4 in.

    Preview images are 72 dpi.

    Make sure that you download the images properly after licensing: I downloaded my 10 free images and they all have the Adobe watermark on them, so I can't use them. Why do they have a watermark on them?

  • Export the LR5 Image size

    I used LR a good amount and you have not run into this problem before.trying to export images for use in Wordpress (resolution 1620 x 720) and that I put the 'image size' parameters as 1620 x 720 and 'dimension', 'pixels' and 'resolution 300', she continues to their output to 960 x 720.

    The original file size is 3264 x 2448 in JPEG format.

    Also, I use Lightroom 5.7.

    Any thoughts on what keeps me out in my size?

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    Best,
    Glenn K.

    You first need to crop the image to a lengthening of 1620 x 720 (or equivalently of 9 x 4), and then when you export with the 1620 x 720 size settings, you will get what you want.

  • How to print the specific image size?

    Hi Gang - How can I print an image 11 x 15 "on paper 13 x 19"?  Initially, it seems easy, but things are not how to navigate. Here's what I did:

    I exported the photo and used the dialog box LR image resize to 11 x 15 "- easy."

    I imported the exported image (assuming that the image was 11 x 15 ") and then in the LR print area - it is where the confusion begins.

    The print tab displays the dimensions of the image as 8 x10.19 in.  Help, how can I do the 11 x 15 "I need it to be?

    I understand that I will need to adjust the image to get the part I want in the space of 11 x 15, but for the moment, I can't even 11 x 15 "size.

    I tried package customized options, but no luck there.

    I would like to Print Studio Pro Canon plugin that works very well. Except, again, I don't know how to ask the image size 11 x 15 "for printing on paper 13 x 19".

    Fiddling with settings, I printed a dozen attempts and still no luck to reach 11 x 15 "size of the image on paper 13 x 19".  For now, I'm OK with the image to cut or to another plane - no baby - I need to know how to make the print image 11 x 15 "size of the image. A

    Thank you to offer suggestions.

    Screenshot shows that my image 11 x 15 "is 8x10.19; I don't know how 11 x 15 ".

    Brain: generally intuitive, but need some help on this issue!

    The first step in the Lightroom print module is to click on the Page Setup button, select your printer, and then select the paper size. It looks like your screen to paper size correct has not been selected yet, because you said you wanted to print on paper 13 x 19 inches, but the paper on the screen is only 8.5 inches wide. My guess is that Page Setup is always programmed for letter-size paper, and you should come back on layout and change it. After you do this, if your layout Style is unique, you should be able to affect the size of the cell 11 x 15 inches.

  • Panoramic of document while smaller than the canvas image?

    Hello

    In normal display tabbed mode, whenever the zoom level is smaller than the canvas size, it seems that the Pan is not allowed. I had actually fallen on for Photoshop CC workaround before that, but he had lost the info after a re - install. I have for the panorama as shown with a screen of small image with just the SPACEBAR button before that.

    Can someone show me how to do this again? Maybe some parameters of its file change or something?

    If update or download photoshop cc2014.2.0, there is a new preference that allows to enable/disable the module

  • Lock screen resolution does not display the correct image size

    original title: lock the resolution of the screen and graphics

    It's not just me, but I have problems with my lock screen. Any image I use the image is the right size and color aren't (almost like a filter of Sarcelles is imposed).

    My native screen resolution is 5760 x 1080. I tried for some screen resolutions, both the original and the current. Even the original will not display correctly.

    Ideas?

    Well, well, well. After you disable the lock for a while screen, today I decided to re-activated it. I love nail polish it gives for WIn8 only that my plan was to use a solid color.

    Imagine my surprise when applied wallpaper appears with the correct aspect ratio.

    Even more surprised that it allows me to use ANY wallpaper now and they look all perfect; 16:9, ultra wide-angle (surround), it does not matter. Everyone is properly rendered to the screen.

    If anyone from MS is reading this, thank you. I know how Visual, aesthetic items will fall to the bottom of the to do list due to the perception of someone, they are trivial and not important.

    You took the time actually solve this little problem. I am amazed, that perhaps MS really takes a step to circulate better over time. Really looking forward to what is to come!

  • First Pro CC reports that the video image size is 720 x 480, but he is really 1920 x 1080

    The end result is that I get black bars on the top and bottom of the video when the video should be consuming all the space.

    iO2GWgs.png

    The source media is resolution 1920 x 1080, and first accept when I check the file properties in the timeline panel, but for some reason any black bars are always inserted.  If I go to the sequence > sequence settings, he pointed out that the video is only 720 x 480

    pLBZyOD.png

    If I change this value at 1920 x 1080 first blow just the video beyond its normal resolution giving the pretty bad/pixelated

    zImXc51.png

    What exactly happens here, how do I get first to use only the original size of the resolution of the video?

    You use a sequence of DV SD.

    That is to say. you have not matched the sequence for the Source of the layer film (1080)

  • Enlarge the image size pre CS

    Hi all

    I want to increase the size of the image in pre CS, Photoshop 7 to be exact, with a streactching image.

    Is this possible?

    I know that I can create another document with the size of the image I want, drag my folders and it would be a solution, but I have a lot of layers.

    Curious to know if there was an easier way to do it?

    Thank you!!

  • Different algorithm when changing the size in the dialog vs tool crop Image size?

    In Photoshop CC 2014, I would look to change the size of the image and increase the DPI of 180 to 300.  If I open the dialog "Image size", using CTRL-I, I can set the resolution to 300 dpi, change the width and height, if I want, and I can choose the resampling to use, automatic algorithm, preserve the details, etc...

    If I'm resizing an image for printing to a specific dimension, say a poster 24 x 36, I find much easier to just go in the crop tool, select 24 inches by 36 inches and change the px / 300 so I can see what size I need and select the culture I want for the image. I don't see any option for the algorithm to use well, so someone can tell me what algorithm it uses?  Is it possible to specify?  Can I use the Image Size dialog box to increase the DPI first before cropping?

    Basically, what is the best method to use to get the best image quality when you try to resize a photo for a large physical size and increase the DPI at the same time?

    Thank you in advance.

    I suspect the preferences > General > parameter Interpolation of the Image will be used.

  • Version of the image - size PSE8

    I often save different versions of the same image sizes. When you view different versions of an image in PSE8

    Organizer, is not readilly apparent which version of size I look at you.  Is there a simple combination of keys to reveal the size of the image?

    View the properties: window menu/properties

  • Image size Presets

    Hello

    I saved the new image size presets in Photoshop, but when I update they do not seem to migrate to the new version, I use Photoshop 2015, through creative cloud. The system is Mac running OS 10.10.5

    Graham

    See this link for the predefined settings. It will give you an idea where the settings are located. You actually want a file called new Doc Sizes.psp located in the Photoshop settings file. This is the path to victory:

    C:\Users\[user name] \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2015\Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 Settings CC
