• What caused my DVD burner, to stop working

  OK, my main hard drive is SATA, if it is relevant to anyone who can help me that I don't know, but I'd rather just give too much information than not enough. I had to go and change my diet because he could not support my new DVD of LG Super Multi burner. Once I replaced it, it worked fine, I then a day later added a HDD IDE to put in shape, it did not work, I realized I should enable in my bios. I did, none of my devices would start and the computer would not go past the initial splash screen.   Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total

  Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both

  You have a 3G modem or another attached flash drive? My Huawei modem was somehow interfering with Windows Media Center/DVD Maker detect my DVD burner. As soon as I unplugged the problem disappeared. If I reconnected it during the burn process, it does not immediately!

  I upgraded my laptop G60t-500 for Windows 8.  I had to reinstall some of the drivers in compatibility mode and overall, it works ok (thumping audio does not work, but I get audio with USB speakers) However, I just noticed that the DVD RW drive does not.  In Device Manager, the hp DVDRAM GT20L reports the following error message:

  Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

  Error status is 0 x %x

  I was looking on the site of HP support pilot for the original drivers for the DVD RW drive but can't seem to find them.  I found the HP DVD Play software and I was wondering if it needs to be reinstalled.  Or I have to look elsewhere for the device driver?  Or should I uninstall and leave the machine to find the driver.

  As a record, when I right click on the device in Device Manager and select "Update driver software", select the option to let the computer find the right driver, he again reports the correct driver is installed.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  WMP is for XP, not the HTC device. If you have Windows mobile on your HTC, then it will be a Media Player built into it. If you have the latest version, AFAIK you update from 6.5 to what is the latest version of Windows Mobile. If its 6.5, then you already have the latest version.
