  2. do you get any error code or error message?

  3. have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

  4. which icon (third party software) programs are you referring? (Mention the name of the program)

  Let us try the following methods and check if it works for you.

  Method 1:

  Start in safe mode and check if the problem persists. Is the question do not persist in safe mode then put the computer in a clean boot state and check if there is no third party software/application causes this issue.

  Step 1: Start Windows XP in safe mode.

  In all my other IDEs (Visual Studio, WDSCi), I used a font of ProggyClean-Slashed-Zero-Bold-Punctuation-monospaced (http://www.proggyfonts.com/index.php?menu=download) who made my life a little bit more easy.  But in LabWindows/CVI 9 I don't only have right to choose from a limited list of fonts.  How can I get my police Proggy?  Alternatively, a better question, what determines which fonts are listed in this selection?

  I thought about it!

  I maintain programs written to the Japan that must be changed for our US systems.  Therefore, I usually use Japanese Windows XP with my language of non-Unicode default value system.  Japanese text in the comments in the code source appear in the case, as the boxes.

  When I'm in Japanese mode, I have only a dozen monospaced fonts available.  But earlier, I switched to English and have a * ton *, including my favorite Proggy!  But the solution is not good... I * have * to run in Japanese mode to do my job.

  I'd love to beta test a fix for this!  There must be some language check is against policies, and regardless of who does not openly support the current language of the system must be excluded from the plan.  Just a guess.

  Any ideas on how I can get this works when I switch in Japanese fashion?  I'll try to now and we hope it stays...

  I have some problem getting latest version of the software installed. I uninstalled the original software, then reinstalled the latest version (Full Feature software and driver). When I run this file, it displays different options that could be installed (for example, a function to search for editable text). Unfortunately, I was not careful and continuous installation without selecting options. The result has been the strict program minimum. The options I wanted were not available.  I thought that this might be corrected by uninstalling the software and then run the installation again. I was wrong. The installation program displays more options. I've uninstalled and reinstalled three times with the same result.
