What is the point of the name space in the metadata?

I understand naming space, but I'm curious to know why there are within the metadata?

If I run getMetaData on the rootItems.children and return those metadata back and examine it, there are namespaces in the dat file

I'm curious, because I can't understand the purpose it serves in this context.

Also, why are nested namespaces? I converted it to XML to JSON for readability.

  • What is the free space in Vista variant of +/-50 GB?

Last night when I went to bed my system reported that I had 60 GB free. This afternoon, he pointed out that I have more than 111 GB of free. I have not emptied the trash, run Disk Cleanup, installed updates (it is set to "notify me but do not install" after this update in the fall of 2009, which made me unable to get on the internet) or anything that could justify such a wide gap.
Accustomed to the amount of free space fluctuating by the swap file systems, I'm my system has only 6 GB RAM and what I have observed, I rarely fully used that. I expect a variance of + / 12 GB or more, not 50 GB.

Is it normal for Vista 64-bit home premium with AVG free or is something current weird that I should try to trace? I only noticed because I knew I had to free 20 GB (probably more like 30-40) for a 580 GB partition on a drive of 500 GB of images and was preparing to move some installers downloaded from CDs and DVDs.

To study disk space, use download and install Treesize (freeware).

    Information about Treesize

    http://www.Jam-software.com/treesize_free/

When you open Treesize scan select in the Menu and you will see a list of drives. Click on C and it will generate a list of files. Display names and 6 larger files sizes and the total at the top of the list.

To reconcile Treesize figures with the size of a partition (or drive), you must make allowances according to this formula:
Partition C + folder System Volume Information + Free space + file compression gain = ability to drive or partition

To determine the size of the System Volume Information folder, select Start, Control Panel, system, System Protection, click Configure under Protection settings. What is the figure of the current use?

What is the best way to clean/free up space on my computer?  Even do not know where to look to see how much space I use... Thank you.

A loss of main surface within each user profile would be penchant of EI for the storage of copies (or much) of almost every web page, your friend has already visited.  Try to reduce the amount of temporary Internet files put in cache, which is huge by default.  I always bring it back to a maximum of 50 MB.  In Internet Explorer, click on tools > Internet Options > general, temporary files > settings.

Same principle for the Java cache. Start > Control Panel > Java > temporary Internet files > settings.

The System Volume Information is the folder in restoration of which WinXP system feature stores information to retrieve errors.  By default, Windows XP sets aside a maximum of 12% of the size of the partition to store the information of the System Volume, but the amount of space reserved for this purpose can be adjusted by the user.  Start > all programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > System Restore Settings, select the relevant partition and click settings.  If you don't want to use the system at all, restore simply to turn off System Restore (start > all programs > Accessories > system tools > system, System Restore settings restore) and restart.  This will remove all your Restore Points, thus freeing up hard disk space.

An another great space waster may be trash.  By default, it takes up to 10% of the capacity of your hard drive. On today's big hard disks, it's a lot of waste.  It can be set to a lower limit by right clicking the desktop Receycle Bin icon, select Properties, and using the scroll bar to reduce the maximum size to something more reasonable - 1% to 2% should be more than enough space.

  • What defines the reference name in a type library

I've created a DLL in CVI 9.1 for use with VB6.  I used a function (.fp) workgroup file to define the functions exported from the DLL.

We add the DLL as a reference to the VB6 project, which allows functions defined in the .fp to be used directly from VB6 without using info prototype of any kind.

One problem with this regime removes a reference from Visual Basic 6 development environment - there is no obvious way to do it - there is no possibility to "remove the reference.  We invariably liquidation brute force tearing all this reference to the DLL in the registry and remove the DLL itself the facility so that VB6 keep find it and insisting on using it.

One aspect is the name of the reference.  What estblishes the name of the reference to the VB6 development environment?  What is the name of the DLL?  It is the name of the .fp file?

I could run an experience I guess, but maybe someone knows and can tell me.

    Thank you.

    Menchar

    Menchar-

It turns out that the name of the file function group (.fp) establishes the name of the reference when the DLL is added to the Visual Basic 6 development environment.

The developer can see the associated DLL name, but the reference itself is the name of the group file function that may or may not be the same name as the DLL, the project, space to work or anything else.

Thanks for the help, Menchar, you're always on the ball.

My Cookie file was corrupted in data and my programs continually pop up with the 'corrupt file' error when a program opens, pointing to \Users\name\Appdata\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies.

The problem is, Chkdsk will not fix this, and I can't access the file. This opens up a world of problems when I need to fix this error, so I can upgrade to Windows 7. Help, please!

I just ran the scan again. He said of the errors found, but could not be repaired.

This problem actually has nothing to do with internet explorer. It's the cookies folder that is corrupt in the Windows folder in roaming. The error file is in conjunction with the programs, that I try to run (AIM, Skype, so forth). Trying to enter the folder it says it's corrupt. I don't know what is the root of the problems or how to solve this problem, but these measures have not helped so far. Regarding the repair, I will try that next.

  • What is the setting point in v2 profile us Web Coated Swop of gain?

    Hey guys,.

This may seem a bit of a n00b question, but I really can't find that info all what I Googled it.

What is the point of setting default in v2 profile us Web Coated SWOP of gain?

    Let me explain my dilemma:

My printer told me to use the US Web Coated SWOP v2 this profile for a catalog that we will print. 4/4 on gloss 100 # book stock. However, I have used this profile in the past and the prints came out darker as I expected. I don't have a printer of high enough quality to be able to test this in-house, but I am sure that my monitor is too bright or set a contrast too high level. They told me that their standard mast is approximately 10-15%

I assumed the SWOP v2 profile 20% fattening as seems to be the default for most of the other color settings, but I've never known with certainty. I am trying to decide if I need to use a custom profile with a highest point gain setting.

    Thanks for any help!

    Kenzier

    Hello Kenzier,

the U.S. Web Coated SWOP ICC profile contains a reproduction of the tones (CRT) curve

which can only be described accurately by Dot Gain or Gamma.

For entry into the color settings > Gray we can proceed as follows:

Color settings > Gray > grey load > (click on) USWebCoatedSWOP.icc > save gray

This saves a 'black-ink-profile' with a similar name, which replaces the Dot Gain

    or Gamma settings.

This profile can be interpreted by the ICC profile Inspector (free) program:

Here we have kTRC (shades of black ink reproduction curve), the red line.

With the diagonal black auxiliary, it reads 20% efficient fattening,

    the blue line.

The printer should tell you a representative profile (a good approximation)

    for its actual process.

I could not find the point of view in the doc, do not know where they are displayed - if you know would be great because I'm sure I'll need this info tech another time.

No, iOS is a sandbox environment, apps can control or manage other applications.

should I delete and re-download a few apps later?

Depends on the app. deletion of an app will also delete its content, if it is an application where its content is important (such as documents), and that content is not stored elsewhere (e.g.)  Dropbox or cloud server), you may lose this content by deleting the app.
