  I did no editing for a few years and suddenly received (for me), a difficult task. I have now just finished editing a wedding shot with 4 video cameras (I took a few videos and other formats have been those who shot at random), in the first 14 elements. The formats of the clips are also different. Due to the fact that there was overlap so many scenes and the complexity of the task, I have divided marriage in 7 scenes, each is a file/project prel e.g. married dress, ceremony, etc. I didn't know at that time that it might be difficult to merge the projects. The final step is to merge these files so that I can make both BD and DVD.

  I initially purchased Premiere Pro for editing, using Pinnacle for years, but I was struggling too much with the Pro and the different formats of the clips, add music, overlapping, etc. Then I bought elements and was very uncomfortable with the Expert mode. I think that I am now ready to start using Pro.

  The specs of my computer are:

  I tried to read as many threads as possible in this regard, but couldn't find much on the internet and most son/tutorials are quite old and refer to previous versions of Premiere Elements. I tried to merge it with Premiere Pro, after reading this (https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/importing-sequences-clip-lists-libraries.html; ( http://www.mediacollege.com/adobe/premiere/pro/import/), but I've struggled, as in the two references, it was either too little info or the guideline was not clear to me.

  Then I have another question and I don't know if I need to open a new thread for this. As I have shown above, the clips have all different characteristics and some files prel are save as 1440 x 1080 (where the scene starts with a clip of nr 4, others like 1920 x 1080) I guess I should have converted clips all to the same specification before editing, but I did not. There was so much work involved in this process that I can't think to change to a format and replace them current clips, etc. With the rendering, the different specifications will be a problem?

  One last question - I guess I just need to go to the BD and DVD specifications, or should I also realize the whole project in a format without loss of keep for possible future use?

  Another option is to use Cineform, who is a Visual lossless codec and produces smaller files means then Lagarith.

  My brother and I collaborate on music, even though we live in different States.  We try to understand the best way to work on a project at the same time... not to live (although that would be awesome) rather by the project back repeatedly for multitracking.  Is there an effective way to send only the new audio files and a logical update file back instead of the entire project (which happens to be several gigs in size)?  It seems that there must be other people working together like this.  This seems particularly important when you mix when we are not adding a lot of new files, but making subtle adjustments to the mixture and arrangement.  All the tips are greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

  It is a non-breaking space. Thus, it is not a consequence of follow-up; on the contrary. It came with the text copy / pasted from Word, and your justified text is being compressed by the paragraph composer who tries to honor these nonbreaking spaces, which (perhaps) made sense at the time when the text was in Word.

  To shoot, you could do a find/replace global, looking for ^ S (note that this is a capital S; I don't remember what metacharacter is specified by ^ s this time, but I'm sure it's something else) and by substituting a normal space.

  I use LabVIEW complete edition on Windows 7 2012.  I copied a project using Save As duplicate in the Project Explorer.  He created an excessively long and complex directory structure.  He made "too long" (probably from the path being too long).

  The intention was to obtain a copy of the project can be used to freely modify it without damaging the original.

  Copy the directory of the whole project to a new location

  Delete the files .lvlps, .lvprog and the new .aliases copy

  Start LabView and create a new empty project

  In the project manager, add a new auto fill directory select the new copy of the project directory

  Save the new project in the new project directory

  Only caveat is that this does not all dependencies in your user.lib or inst.lib for the first time, you open a vi that you might find some of the dependencies that are not in the default locations.

  Hello. I'm just getting into after effects and WOW, I soak every tutorial I can. That being said, I wonder what's the best practice for working with longer projects. Let me give you a scenario.

  So, I have my HAND COMP with piece of music in 3 minutes I sync up to my animations.

  I create ANIMATION COMP 1 and drop it in the HAND COMP.

  So let's say that I want to adjust something in ANIMATION COMP 1.

  I switch back to ANIMATION COMP 1 window to make my adjustments.

  Problem: Bed of music is in comp 1 so I can't listen to music and make adjustments accordingly.

  The obvious solution is to simply create everything on 1 composition. But is there a way to make the MAIN COMP room if you change a secondary layout?

  The only sensible thing to do for a few minutes longer project to edit in Premiere Pro and make the moves you must treat as individual comps in After Effects. Comps are for the creation of pictures and short clips. Try to put 80 or 100 cups in a single cimp is not only difficult to treat, but finding the flow with the music of changes are almost impossible.

  If you want to get a real specific on all your production must begin before a single frame is shot. Shot a bunch of stuff and try to build something later are a very very bad idea unless there is no other choice.
