  • What is the Temp etilqs xKTXRBvWnu6 file?

Everytime I open my browser Firefox Win Patrol reports a hidden file. I use XP Pro with SP2, and they are always under C:\Documents and owner Settings\Temp. These files always have etilqs as a prefix with the last group of numbers and letters of Exchange to the next time I open Firefox. It's more embarrassing, it's more boring near harassment, having to respond to the report of WinPatrol. There is no way to ignore it in Win Patrol settings so I have to uninstall Win Patrol or Firefox. Do you know what are these hidden temporary files and how can I stop being a constant nuisance whenever I try to use Firefox? Thanks for any help you can give me.

For instance, you may see many files that start as etilqs_ followed by random names. These are database files used by the public domain database called SQLite. Both Chrome and FireFox use SQLite to store data including cookies. Another common hidden legitimate file will start with api-ms-win- or ext-ms-win.

  • What's the legal system I bought without operating system?

    Hello

I was looking to buy this system on ebay http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/9-7inch-Windows-7-Intel-Dual-core-Tablet-PC-2GB-RAM-32G-SSD-/221157069780?pt=AU_comp_laptop&hash=item337dfd13d4 and I noticed that the OS is supposed to be «not authentic but works well as a»?

I have an original Vista of the retail and upgrade for windows 8, so I emailled to know if she is running the operating system that is appropriate with the intention to buy one with a blank HARD drive. Apparently, it does. Despite this, I felt that the seller was a little difficult to get direct answers to so I decided not to buy the device.

I was in stores today and went to our local PC parts store and asked if they had some tablet PCs. Low and behold, they tell me they have this device without BONES. They show it to me and it is the same unit. From what I can tell, they bought one to test his spec out as a customer is interested in a number of them, and he sold now. As I said the HARD drive was BONE white, no doubt, so I bought it. Guaranteed complete (1 year) but cheaper, $70 Great!

To get to my question. When turned on it still shows the Logo Windows 7 splash screen then gives the no boot device error. The drive is empty. It is part of its waste to the bios boot screen. Do I need to worry about this? What is an illegal use of windows left by the questionable BONE logo that has been deleted? Can I change?

    Thanks for your time.

I just reinstall your original Vista on it and use it as a qualification for upgrade license to Windows 8.

Before you sell or give away your computer, and more the steps listed in this article to support, please follow these steps:

    1. run the Diagnostics from Apple or the Apple Hardware Test. The buyer will do (or it should), and you won't be surprised by the results.

    2. reset the PRAM and the SMC, which may contain personal information.

    3. If you set a firmware password, remove it by running the utility in recovery mode firmware password.

    4. If you turn on FileVault in OS X 10.7 or later, turn it off.

    5. If you use Boot Camp, the partition must be deleted.

    6. If you have created another partition of data on internal disk, remove them in disk utility.

    7. If the machine has an internal hard drive, erase the remaining data partition with the possibility of putting the data to zero. An SSD has no need to be set to zero.

    8. remove the machine from your list of registered products. If it is still covered by an AppleCare Protection Plan, transfer the warranty to the new owner as described in the terms and Conditions AppleCare (under the heading "Transfer of Plan.")

    Note also:

You can legally or transfer almost any software downloaded from the Mac App Store to the new owner of the machine, even if it was free. This includes OS X, so if you've switched to OS X 10.7 or later, you need to reinstall an operating system older, either from the installation media, if any, or by commissioning in recovery mode of the Internet (option-command-R start ringing.)

The new owner will have to re-download everything software that came on the App Store, as appropriate, including updates of OS X, under her Apple ID. If you never updated applications bundled iLife (iPhoto, iMovie and Garage Band) through the App Store, you can not transfer these either. The buyer must buy them. Note that iPhoto has been suspended and is no longer available for purchase.

  • What is the "right way" to archive watched as TV shows to save space on my SSD in iTunes 12.3.3.17?

I 212,92 GB in my iTunes Media folder on my Mac Book Pro with 751,28 GB SSD and I need some SSD back space.  I saved the file whole iTunes on an external drive, and I use a time Machine TB 3.  What is the 'best' way to remove TV shows I have watched but you may want to look again to retrieve the piece on my SSD?  Is it somehow within iTunes to do this, it can easily reload archived videos?  (For example like the original tΘlΘcharger the cloud when I bought it, but now my own sauvegardΘ?) p.s. Sorry, but none of the categories seem right for this issue. LRC

A few options, I can think. One is to simply copy the media itself on the external drive and remove the entry from the library in iTunes. When you want to use it then "add you" the external file to iTunes that will put a copy on your computer that can be removed again after having watched.

Another option is to create a separate library for items stored on your disk to archive.  Create a new library by holding down the option key while starting iTunes and tell him to put on the external drive you use for videos.  Drag the items currently there in the folder automatically add to iTunes in the Media folder on the outside.  Toggle the use of the library back if necessary.

You need to maybe turn off or change automatic downloads so that they are not constantly re-uploaded in your main library.

  • What is the fastest connection that I can use for a new external SSD for my MBP late 2008?

That IS the question. I want a new external SSD for my MBP late 2008.

What is the fastest connection type that works?

'External' and 'SSD' could be a problem.  SSDS are different animals of disks spinny.  Some will say that you need not trim on SSD (TRIM is a management tool to move only the ' opportunity' bytes in a block when the block of data is moved), but definitely TRIM does not work on USB or Firewire.  Not sure if the TRIM works on Thunderbolt connected readers as it does on disks SATA-path, however.

Speed included between slower and faster, however: USB 2.0, Firewire 400, Firewire 800, USB 3.0, love at first sight.

  • What happens if I delete the files in the Temp folder in Windows 7?

What is happening in the windows--> Temp folder in windows 7, and if I delete the files there, that will be a problem?  I want to free up the disk space of 1.8 G, but can't find any info anywhere of the consequences of deleting these files, what they are for, or how they got there.  Thank you!

In general, it is safe to delete anything in the Temp folder.  Sometimes, you can get a "Cannot be deleted because the file is in use" message, but you can just ignore these files.

For safety, do your Temp directory deletion right after you restart the computer.  Sometimes a program installer will put something in the Temp directory it needs to complete the installation after a reboot.  If you restart and wait a bit so that they were, whatever left in the Temp folder should be OK to delete it.

If you want to be conservative, use the built-in Disk Cleanup tool (type of cleaning disc in the search box).  If you select "Temporary files" as one of the elements to clean (deleted), by default, that Disk Cleanup removes only the files that have not changed in 7 days.

  • Change HDD to the SSD, what are the options?

Hi guys, new to the forum, I just bought a thinkpad x130e during a sales event on one of the local retailer, pretty excited, because I like the rugged design.

I am looking to upgrade to 320G HDD for one SSD 128G... but I have no installation disc 7 windows very practical, so, what are the options for me to install the operating system (windows 7).

I don't know if there is a way to transfer the whole of the SSD HARD drive? is there a trick to perform? or quite simply, I just bought the new copy of windows?

COS, I noticed that I have a windows7 pro product key at the bottom of my thinkpad, I kinda don't want to lose money.

    Help, please...

You don't need to buy another copy of Win7. You will need

1 SSD. It has to be is not 7mm thick, the most common 9.5 mm thick.

2 USB box for your HARD drive,

    3. software to "clone" the content of your disk to your SSD. Acronis True Image is a well-respected package that does this. There are also a few free utilities that can do this, however, I'm not familiar with them.

    Procedure:

    1. move the HARD disc on the outer envelope.

2 put the SSD in the X130e.

3 reboot from the HARD disk. (You need to interrupt the boot with the blue ThinkVantage button to specify).

    4. install Acronis (or equivalent).

5 RIP clone disk. You will have to tell the software how you resize partitions because you go to a smaller drive.

    6 restart from SSD.

  • What is the best the SSD 1 TB with and external storage or fuser 3 TB

    I ordered a new iMac 27 "with

    4.0 GHz

    32 GB 1867 MHz DDR3 SDRAM

M395X R9 AMD with 4 GB of video memory

I chose the 1 TB SSD from the merger of 3 TB vrs

My current computer is a Mac Book Pro with 500 GB SSD + another standard 1 TB drive and I use the SSD for the system and applications and moved over all the rest on the classic drive. My plan was to do the same thing with the new machine with an external 2 TB drive Thunderbolt.

I'd be better off with the fusion 3 TB drive?

    Thank you

    Gary

You have made the right choice. 1 TB flash storage is much faster than a disc fusion.
